Chapter 442: Edward Stephens is a good person

Chapter 442: Edward Stephens is a good person

Edward Stephens glaring at James Shelton?

Daisy Ginger rolled her eyes at him and kicked him again, "Don’t flatter yourself, even if he has a crush on Christopher Woods, he won’t fancy you. Get up!"

"Damn, I’m way more handsome than Christopher Woods!"

"Christopher Woods is more manly than you!"

Daisy Ginger shoved Erin Ginger into James Shelton’s arms, stretching her muscles. Even though Erin was only three years old, holding her was still exhausting, and her arms soon became sore.

James Shelton held Erin Ginger, looked at the little kid’s rosy face, brought it in front of him, and asked earnestly, "Erin, between Daddy and Uncle Wood, who do you think is more handsome?"

Erin Ginger didn’t even glance at him, turned her head aloofly, and ignored him.

James Shelton: "..." Such attitude!

James Shelton walked beside Daisy Ginger, resigned to holding Erin Ginger, complaining as he walked, "You two just bully me, I’m so pitiful..."

Daisy Ginger listened to James Shelton’s muttering as they walked, rolled her eyes at him, "You lazy freeloader, talking so much nonsense."

James Shelton pinched Erin Ginger’s cheek, "No matter what, I’m still Erin’s lifesaver, right?"

"..." Daisy Ginger moved her lips, glanced at James Shelton, but didn’t say anything else.

The two of them carried Erin Ginger towards the escalator.

Halfway there, Daisy Ginger heard James Shelton say, "Christopher Woods, what are you doing here?"

Daisy Ginger looked up and saw Christopher Woods’ tall figure standing by the escalator, with a chiseled side profile exuding robustness and masculinity. Daisy Ginger glanced at James Shelton’s fair face and clicked her tongue twice.

James Shelton sensed Daisy Ginger’s disdain, rolled his eyes at her, stepped forward, and curiously asked, "You guys finished eating so quickly? Where’s my grandpa?"

Christopher Woods replied, "Elder Shelton is still in the private room, I’m sending Mr. Stephens back first." As he spoke, Christopher Woods looked up and shouted behind Daisy Ginger, "Mr. Stephens, you’re over here."

Daisy Ginger’s body stiffened immediately.

She slowly turned around inch by inch and indeed saw Edward Stephens approaching from not far away.

His appearance was exquisite and elegant, attracting attention, and even though he was just wearing a simply tailored black coat, he still garnered countless glances.

Daisy Ginger quickly moved to James Shelton’s side, trying to use her slender back to block Erin in James Shelton’s arms.

But how could she block him?

Edward Stephens walked up to her, gave her an indifferent glance, then quietly looked at James Shelton and the child in his arms.

The child, not quite three years old, was as delicate as a carved jade, with jet-black, soft short hair, and a pair of crystal clear, ebony eyes. He was held by James Shelton, and wasn’t afraid of him, just calmly looking at him. There was none of the curiosity a child should have in his eyes, nor was there any fear of him.

This was Daisy Ginger’s child.

He did have some resemblance to Daisy Ginger in his features.

Edward’s heart was calm and indifferent, without any special emotion, and he reached out to ruffle Erin Ginger’s hair. Edward Stephens politely said to James Shelton, "Mr. Shelton, I’m not feeling well, so I must excuse myself for today. I hope we meet again next time."

James Shelton was momentarily stunned, then responded with a beaming smile, "Till next time, till next time, goodbye, Mr. Stephens!"

He stepped aside, watching Edward Stephens and Christopher Woods leave until their figures disappeared. Then he nudged Daisy Ginger with his shoulder, excitedly saying, "Actually, that Mr. Stephens isn’t too bad, right? He seems like a good person!"
