Chapter 430: Disgusting to the extreme
"Surveillance?" Ryan Smith heard this, not sure what came to mind, but he curled his lips and revealed a slight, sarcastic smirk.

Daisy Ginger drove for ten minutes straight before her mind gradually calmed down.
She parked the BMW on the side of the road and slumped over the steering wheel, feeling exhausted, her back drenched with cold sweat.
Edward Stephens, Edward Stephens is in Tsing City.
Why is he in Tsing City?
Why leave a perfectly fine Chicago to come to Tsing City?!
Just her luck, the man Helen Hyde got involved with turned out to be Edward Stephens.
What’s the point of doing anything now? Might as well stay put in the detention center.
That evening, Daisy wasn’t even sure how she got home.
She turned off her phone and went straight to bed.
Her sleep was restless, plagued by nightmares of Edward Stephens choking her, viciously trying to kill her.
When she woke up, the weather had cooled down, and she bore two large dark circles under her eyes. She walked barefoot into the bathroom to freshen up. Looking at her haggard self in the mirror, she felt like she’d aged ten years overnight...
After brushing her teeth and washing her face, Daisy took a deep breath and turned on her phone.
Dozens of messages "ping, ping, ping" appeared, some work-related, some from Elena Raven, and some from manufacturers involved with Helen Hyde’s signed contracts.
Though the media had yet to catch wind of it, organizations and individuals with vested interests in Helen Hyde were already taking action.
Daisy closed her eyes, irritably collapsed onto the bed, wishing she could just hide at home and not go to Royal Entertainment today.
Just quit! No more playing around! What’s the point?!
After tossing and turning for half an hour, Daisy resigned herself to reality, contacted several brand managers associated with Helen Hyde’s endorsements, and assured them that she would handle the matter promptly, without causing any negative impact on their brands.
One contract’s penalty alone was tens of millions, and with Helen Hyde having three or four endorsements, the compensation would surpass a billion.
Sitting on the bed, Daisy let out a small sigh, hastily applied light makeup, and left the apartment.
She first went to the police station to check on the terrified Helen Hyde, offered some comforting words, and then obtained Ryan Smith’s phone number from the officers, calling him to request a meeting.
For the police, it’s best if the matter is settled privately. Even if an arrest was made, she’d likely spend no more than a week inside. But given her public status, different from ordinary people, there’s no need to ruin someone’s life over this.
So the phone number was given readily.
Daisy arranged to meet Ryan Smith at a café near the police station. She finished her cup of coffee before he finally arrived, sitting down across from her with a detached glance.
Daisy handed him the menu. "What coffee would you like?"
She asked him amiably.
"No coffee," Ryan responded coolly, "If you have something to say, say it quickly, even I value my time greatly."
"I already understand the specifics," Daisy placed her hands on the coffee table, speaking in a deep voice, "Helen Hyde is an artist from my company. She’s still young and didn’t think things through. We’d appreciate if Mr. Smith could make some allowance, let’s handle this privately and keep it out of the police station."
Ryan glanced at her, "My friend was thoroughly disgusted, do you think we can just let it go like that?"
Daisy pursed her lips, unable to help but wonder, what else does he want? Should he touch her back in return?
Helen Hyde would probably be willing, but it’s uncertain if he would...
