Hogwarts’ John Wick

Chapter 570 570: 570: The Station, Malfoy's Stable Output

Chapter 570 570: 570: The Station, Malfoy's Stable Output

King's Cross Station.

Watson felt uncomfortable all over as he noticed the crowd pointing and whispering about them.

He asked in confusion, "Are agents really that capable? They even tracked us here?"

What he did not know was that, as the second king of the wizarding world and the master of Knockturn Alley, his son's status was far from ordinary.

John had not even bothered to disguise himself, so naturally the parents sending their children to school could not help discussing him.

Ariana seemed frightened by such a crowded place. A trace of black mist flashed through her eyes before being suppressed.

Standing beside the pillar leading to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, John bid farewell to his family.

"Ariana, if you miss me, write to me."

John rubbed Ariana's head gently.

At this point, Kiki, with his oversized head, had practically become Ariana's pet.

Ariana nodded, and John turned toward his father.

"You're sure your school has been repaired?" Watson asked. "I remember it got wrecked pretty badly."

"Yes. Since someone rode a dragon straight into the Headmaster's office, repairs took some time," John said flatly, glancing at his father. "Fortunately, there was a professional team handling it, so it wasn't too difficult."

Hearing that, Watson whistled innocently and pretended not to hear anything. Mrs. Wick kissed her son on the cheek.

"Little wolf cub, you can't make us worry again this time," Mrs. Wick scolded affectionately.

Now it was John's turn to feel awkward.

After saying goodbye to his parents, he gave Tommy a look nearby.

Tommy immediately understood and nodded.

There were more than twenty members of the Silverhand security team stationed throughout the station. Besides maintaining order, they were also there to prevent any accidents.

As John stepped onto Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.

The first person to spot him was Colin Creevey.

The Gryffindor war correspondent shouted excitedly, "It's John Wick!"

Every gaze in the station immediately turned toward him as Colin ran over eagerly.

"Can I take your picture?"

"Of course," John said with a smile. "We're schoolmates, after all."

Colin excitedly snapped more than a dozen photos in succession.

As John walked through the station, respectful greetings rose one after another.

"John."

"Mr. Wick."

"It's an honor to meet you, Mr. Wick."

"I need to thank you. As a mother, you saved my child's life."

The parents of Hogwarts students were all grateful to John, while some lurking reporters immediately rushed forward in hopes of getting firsthand news.

This was the Second King, after all.

At present, even the celebrity Gilderoy Lockhart could not compare to his fame.

Any scrap of news about him could launch a reporter's career through the newspaper industry.

Just as the reporters were itching to move forward, Draco Malfoy swaggered over with an arrogant stride.

"Move aside, move aside! I told you to back off, are you deaf?"

"And you, yes, you! What are you photographing? Did I give you permission?"

One reporter protested indignantly, "I'm a journalist! I have the right to let the public know the truth!"

"What truth? How many steps John Wick took in the station?"

"You!"

"What 'you'? Don't block my way onto the train, and stop blocking the students behind you!"

"What's your name? I'm going to expose you!"

"Excellent. Draco Malfoy. Which newspaper are you from? My father is Lucius Malfoy. Believe me, he could buy your company in minutes!"

"You, you, you…"

Malfoy frowned at the reporter, who was too furious to speak. "If you're sick, go get treated. Stop wasting air here."

The young reporter clutched his chest and staggered backward, while the surrounding reporters hurriedly kept their distance.

One reporter accidentally pressed the shutter.

Malfoy immediately locked onto him.

"Do you even know how to take pictures? Do you understand angles or not?!"

Malfoy strode over, grabbed the camera, and adjusted it toward his handsome profile before declaring arrogantly, "Asto said my left side looks best. Take it like this."

The reporter sucked in a sharp breath. Someone like this could not be restrained by criticism at all. Better not provoke him.

The entire group of reporters was scattered by Malfoy alone. Even John could not help giving him a thumbs-up.

And he sincerely advised, "Promise me you'll always carry your wand when you go out."

After boarding the Hogwarts Express, the noise from outside finally disappeared.

The students on the train all greeted John as he passed.

Reaching an empty compartment, John sat down and stretched lazily.

Malfoy kept his head held high and chest puffed out. John glanced at him and instantly understood.

"So, you became a prefect."

Malfoy smirked proudly. "Slughorn has good judgment."

"He certainly does." John pulled out a badge from his pocket and placed it down.

The smug expression on Malfoy's face instantly froze.

"Head Boy."

Silently, Malfoy removed his own prefect badge as though nothing had happened.

"I'll go check on Goyle and Crabbe. If those two idiots don't improve their grades, they'll end up repeating the year."

Spotting the two large figures walking past, Malfoy immediately aimed a kick at Goyle's backside.

That kick firmly secured Malfoy's position as the most annoying person in the school, a title he would defend all the way through seventh year.

Through the train window, John saw Harry arriving outside.

Everything had changed.

Voldemort's death meant Harry could attend school normally instead of being forced to leave Hogwarts.

He saw Ron appear behind Harry, followed closely by Hermione.

The bond between the three remained the same, yet fate had quietly begun to change.

"The Invisibility Cloak?"

Watching Harry, John thought of the cloak.

The Deathly Hallows.

The Elder Wand was in Grindelwald's possession.

The Resurrection Stone was with John.

The Invisibility Cloak was with Harry, though it could also be indirectly considered to be under Dumbledore's influence.

Each of the three possessed one of the Hallows.

"Grindelwald wants the Resurrection Stone."

John still remembered Grindelwald's plan to create an army.

He touched the locket hanging against his chest, where the Resurrection Stone rested inside.

Grindelwald would never give up on collecting the Deathly Hallows. Becoming the Master of Death held immense temptation for him.

Conflict between the three of them was inevitable.

"What a coincidence. I also want to collect the other two."

John narrowed his eyes, his fingers rubbing against the locket.

The Elder Wand was a treasure capable of raising one's power by an entire level. John would be lying if he said he was not tempted.

Although the Invisibility Cloak had been seen through many times, the Resurrection Stone, when used correctly, could truly achieve the effect implied by its name. Perhaps the cloak also possessed extraordinary properties.

"Now isn't the right time to obtain the Invisibility Cloak. Grindelwald would be delighted to see me fall out with Dumbledore."

Suppressing his thoughts, John closed his eyes and rested.

After a while.

The compartment gradually became lively.

The train slowly started moving, heading toward Hogwarts after the great battle.

Astoria was now in her fifth year and had become a prefect.

That made Astoria very happy because she had always worked hard to keep up with the Constellation Society.

Normally, the Head Boy would manage the students on the train alongside the prefects.

But everyone seemed to have silently agreed that such minor matters did not require John's involvement.

Once the train ride settled down, Daphne and the others came into John's compartment.

"What's this?"

Malfoy picked up the floating book.

In an instant, a strange urge compelled him to open it.

Startled, Malfoy threw the book away and asked uncertainly, "What kind of cursed thing is this?"

John snapped his fingers.

The book floated back up again as he casually replied, "A book written by an ancient Greek wizard."

"This thing feels truly evil." Daphne frowned deeply. "It makes me feel very uncomfortable."

The Darkhold flew back into the small bag as John smiled and said, "Your improvement has impressed me, Daphne."

Being able to sense the evil within the Darkhold proved that Daphne had improved considerably.

After being praised by John, Daphne's eyes sparkled brightly.

Malfoy protested, "I sensed it too."

"Oh, then you're amazing," Daphne immediately mocked him. "If there was a curse on it, you'd be the first victim."

You noticed something was wrong and still touched it with your hand. Brilliant move.

Malfoy fell silent in defeat.

"Have some chocolate, Draco."

Astoria broke a piece of chocolate in half and handed one portion to Malfoy.

"Thank you, Asto." Malfoy happily accepted it, looking just like a pampered pet being fed.

Daphne let out a cold laugh. Such a show-off.

"I made these little cakes myself," Daphne said shyly as she took out the cakes she had baked. "Try them."

Malfoy looked at the chocolate, then at the three-layer "little cake."

Show-off.

The train, trailing smoke behind it, pulled into the station.

The sun unwillingly disappeared, carrying away the last traces of twilight.

The most popular professor, Rubeus Hagrid, stood at the station preparing to welcome this year's new students.

Unlike before, the new students were not frightened by the half-giant's enormous size. Instead, they were filled with excitement.

"You're Rubeus Hagrid, the one in the armor?"

"That's so cool! Where's your armor?"

"Can I touch it?"

"…"

The first-years were thrilled. They had all seen the giant man in the newspapers.

After all, he was the legend who had stood alone on the bridge in armor.

"Quiet down, all of you! Line up and follow me, and watch your step near the platform!"

Hagrid was left flustered by the enthusiasm as he loudly tried to maintain order.

The students in previous years had never been this enthusiastic. No one even complained about the animal smell clinging to him anymore.

John smiled and waved to Hagrid from afar, silently hoping that no students would fall into the lake this year.
