His Hybrid Mate

Chapter 178

Chapter 178

Connor did not move and was still blocking Annette's way at the door.

Annette did not dare to look at him. Her tone was a little stiff as she said, "Make way, Alpha Connor. I want to go out."

Connor reached out to pinch her chin.

"Annette, I never failed to get anything I have taken a fancy on. As long as I'm alive, I won't allow someone who trifles with my affection to live a good life. As long as I don't let go, you won't be able to leave."

With that, Connor grabbed the bag on Annette's shoulder and threw it aside. Then, he carried her and walked two steps onto the bed.

Just as Annette was about to get up, he pressed down on her.

She shouted, "What are you doing?"

  "Don't you know?"

"Don't. You said that if I don't want to, you won't force me."

"The premise is that you are obedient enough." Connor's eyes were sharp as he pinched Annette's neck. "You are no longer worthy of my respect. I can do anything at any time I want."

  He kissed her lips.

Connor pressed Annette onto the bed without any emotion, completely ignoring how hard she was struggling.

Annette could not break free. She could only shout while he was kissing her, "Don't be like this. Let go of me."

Of course, Connor would not stop.

Regardless of Annette's struggle, he had sex with her.

Annette curled up in pain and was forced to bear his anger.

She grabbed Connor's arm, her nails almost digging into his skin.

She was in so much pain.

Seeing the sweat on Annette's forehead, Connor frowned and softened his movements.

Annette closed her eyes and said painfully, "Connor, it hurts."

Connor noticed that there was something wrong with her expression. He stopped what he was doing and sat up.

When he saw the blood on the sheet, his heart instantly tightened.

  He asked anxiously.

  "Annette, are you..."

Annette pinched Connor's wrist and said weakly, "My stomach hurts."

Connor helped put on her clothes quickly and then carried her downstairs.

As soon as he left the house, he shouted, "Dwayne, hurry up and get a car."

Dwayne saw that Annette's clothes were dyed red with blood. He said quickly, "Get someone to drive the car over."

Connor carried Annette into the car.

She was in so much pain that she kept groaning.

Connor regretted that he had hurt her.

"Ann, hold on. We'll be at the hospital soon."

As he said, Annette's head fell backward uncontrollably.

  She fainted.

  "Ann? Annette, wake up!"

When Annette woke up again, she was lying in the ward.

Connor held her hand and said nervously, "You're awake?"

Annette frowned. She looked at him and did not speak.

There was no other emotion on Connor's face other than guilt.

"Are you still feeling unwell? I'll call the doctor to check you."

Annette closed her eyes and said, "No, I'm feeling OK."

  "Annette, look at me."

Annette did not want to open her eyes.

  She hated the rude Connor.

Just as Connor was about to bend over and hug her, a doctor walked in.

Connor's face instantly turned cold. He said, "Check her immediately. Don't let anything happen to her."

The doctor stepped forward, and Connor took a step back.

Only then did Annette open her eyes and answer the doctor's questions.

She asked the doctor, "What happened to me just now?"

The doctor was going to answer, but Connor chimed in, "Please leave. I'll explain it to her."

The doctor left with the others hurriedly.

Annette refused to talk to Connor.

Connor did not care about her indifferent attitude.

He returned to bed and sat down, holding her hand.

Annette broke free from his grip and turned to look out the window, refusing to meet his gaze.

Connor helped her tidy her hair and said softly, "Annette, don't you know that you are pregnant?"

  Annette's heart sank.

  She was pregnant?

She closed her eyes in frustration.

Connor hadn't taken any precautions, and Annette had forgotten about it afterward.

Connor continued, "You're going to be a mother soon. Do you understand?"

Annette shook her head and her eyes began to well up with tears. She touched her lower abdomen.

Connor said in a gentle voice, "Annette, let's give the child a family, okay?"

Annette turned her back to him and cried.

  What should she do?

Connor was distressed and stroked her head gently.

"I know that you must be surprised and scared now. You are still young and are not ready to be a mother. However, since you are pregnant, we have to face it."

  Annette still refused to talk.

She heard all of Connor's words.

"I was too impulsive just now. I shouldn't have treated you so rudely. You shouldn't have given up on me so easily. Annette, no one has ever treated me like that. Do you know?" Connor said patiently.

"Don't say anything more. Get out!" Annette interrupted Connor.

  Connor frowned. He didn't move.

Annette sat up and said, "If you don't go out, I will go."

Connor pressed her shoulder and stopped her. "Annette, don't be stubborn. You are with child now and should stay calm. Do you want to lose the baby?"

  "Go out."

"Okay, I'll go out. Calm down." Connor sighed, "I'm at the door. You have to give birth to this child. I'm his father, and I won't allow anything to happen to the baby. Do you understand?"

Connor rubbed Annette's hair and turned to leave.

Annette covered her eyes and could not help but cry.

She had promised Sharon that she would never ruin her life.

  But she still did it.

How could she leave Connor with this child?

  "Sharon, what should I do?"

Connor looked at Annette's painful appearance through the glass and felt upset.

He went to the stairwell and lit a cigarette.

He thought, 'Annette is in so much pain when she knows that she is pregnant with my child. Does she hate me so much?'

Connor took a puff and threw the cigarette on the ground. He stepped on it and put it out.

  Then, he mink linked Lucas.

"What did you say to Annette?"

Lucas said calmly, "Hasn't she told you yet?"

"You want her to separate from me?"

"That's right. Think straight. Annette is a member of the Black Thorn Pack."

  "She is not!"

"Only you believe that." Lucas said angrily, "She is Lance's daughter. Lance is the Alpha of the Black Thorn Pack that you are determined to destroy. Lance's daughter is not worthy of being the Luna of the Blood Moon Pack."

"Lance has never treated Annette as his daughter. He hates Annette, and so do his wife and daughter from the Black Thorn Pack. What you did was nothing but hurtful to Annette."

"Does it have anything to do with me whether she is hurt or not? I only know that she is destined to have no chance to be the Luna of the Blood Moon Pack."

Connor was furious. "Annette is pregnant. I will not give up on her. Stop meddling. Just worry about your own mate."
