Chapter 862 - 815: One Must Die

The return of Miyamoto Musashi immediately shattered the balance of power between the two sides. On Hero’s Continent, only Huang Yi and the Gentleman were super-first-class masters, and their current strength was not particularly impressive.

Meanwhile, the Invading Army had three super-first-class masters! Moreover, their professional synergy was impeccable: Ganges, the world’s top priest; Miyamoto Musashi, a physical attack-type master; and T.N.T, an offensive-type magic master.

Under such circumstances, Huang Yi’s Heroes’ Prison was useless, as this area belonged to the Night Rain Eastcoming Guild and was not his territory, meaning he couldn’t release any criminals to act as Guardians.

What’s more, familiar figures emerged within that troop – some of the Land of Dongying’s finest masters, such as Sakura, Black Warrior, Meiji, Ninja, and others.

Additionally, there were key figures from the Martial Arts Guild, including Zero, Starry Sky, Jun Zhiye, Meng Junlin, and more. As for Zhitian Shi, he had evidently been left behind by Miyamoto Musashi in the Land of Dongying to oversee the situation.

"God of Slaughter, you’ve devastated so many of my Martial Arts Guild’s sub-territories; now it’s time for you to pay the price!" Miyamoto Musashi advanced while coldly declaring toward Huang Yi, his voice echoing in every direction.

His pace remained unaltered—just as leisurely as before—yet this made him appear even more confident. Along the way, none of the Hero Guild members were able to halt his steps, watching helplessly as he drew increasingly closer.

"Martial Emperor, you’ve come too! The God of Slaughter nearly destroyed your guild and took away my Ganges Fleet. Today, let’s join forces and annihilate his Hero Legion!" Ganges exclaimed, waving a branch from the World Tree. He cast a Green Light toward Miyamoto Musashi, adding another layer of protection to his frame.

Seeing the enemy receive such powerful reinforcements made many Hero Legion soldiers visibly anxious, retreating slightly.

"Do not fear, everyone. It’s not over yet—there may still be changes ahead." Just then, two voices sounded simultaneously from the battlefield!

These voices belonged to the Gentleman and Huang Yi, who coincidentally spoke the exact same sentence, word for word!

Huang Yi and the Gentleman exchanged a brief look of surprise. Neither had expected the other to utter the same words as themselves.

The Hero Legion members, hearing these calming words from their two super-first-class masters, immediately felt reassured and continued their desperate fight.

With Miyamoto Musashi and his allies joining, the battle clearly intensified, becoming faster-paced. The flashing swords and clashing weapons across the battlefield grew even fiercer and more dazzling.

"Yang Yuheng, how much experience do you still need to level up to 199?" Huang Yi managed to send a message to Yang Yuheng amidst his fight with T.N.T.

"I still need 29%!" Yang Yuheng replied while frantically killing enemies.

"Then focus on upgrading! We’ll do everything to fend off their attempts to kill you!" Huang Yi motivated Yang Yuheng with another reply.

"Chess Saint, how much experience do you still need to reach Level 200?" Miyamoto Musashi sent a message to Chess Saint as he continued slaying enemies.

"Still lacking 12% experience points!" Chess Saint promptly replied.

"Then keep leveling up. T.N.T and I will personally go after Yang Yuheng!" Upon receiving the reply, Miyamoto Musashi sent a directive to T.N.T.

Receiving Musashi’s message, T.N.T abruptly abandoned his struggle against Huang Yi. His figure flickered, instantly activating an Acceleration Skill and dashing at full speed toward Yang Yuheng!

Simultaneously, Miyamoto Musashi accelerated his pace, transforming into a blur as he rushed toward Yang Yuheng!

The two super-first-class masters struck from two directions, simultaneously aiming to corner Yang Yuheng!

Yang Yuheng and Chess Saint were pivotal figures in this battle; either one’s death and level loss would permanently disqualify them from contending for the Heavenly Realm.

"I declare, T.N.T—death!" At that exact moment, a familiar voice resounded in the air.

Huang Yi activated his Judgment against T.N.T!

Among the enemy’s trio of super-first-class masters, Ganges and Miyamoto Musashi were shielded by Green Light protection, leaving only T.N.T exposed and vulnerable to Judgment!

"Boom!" Suddenly, the sky turned dark, clouds thickened, and lightning flashed, illuminating bursts of Thunder Light.

A massive bolt of lightning struck down in the blink of an eye, forcibly pulling the sprinting T.N.T into the sky.

Huang Yi’s Incarnation was also drawn upward, alongside T.N.T, making them the center of everyone’s attention.

At this moment, the Gentleman abruptly abandoned his unyielding pursuit of Chess Saint and activated his Charge Skill, rushing to Yang Yuheng’s defense and momentarily blocking Miyamoto Musashi, saving Yang Yuheng.

Huang Yi and the Gentleman’s actions signaled a strategic shift for the Hero Legion: they moved from offense to defense!

The cost of this move was that Chess Saint’s leveling progress accelerated without the Gentleman’s interference, enabling unhindered combat.

"God of Slaughter, you’ve pulled me into the void above. Do you truly believe you’ve got me cornered?" Within the Void Battlefield, T.N.T snarled at Huang Yi through gritted teeth.

Suddenly, his figure convulsed, and his muscles visibly swelled at an alarming rate. A horn sprouted from his head, giving him an aura reminiscent of a Demon Clan creature. However, his body was also engulfed in raging flames, setting him apart significantly from typical demonkind.

Clearly, T.N.T had unleashed a previously unseen transformation-type skill!

This skill was a long-hidden trump card, never exposed to the outside world since acquiring it. Essentially a demon-type skill, it allowed him to fully embody a demon, thereby greatly amplifying his demonic series attack prowess compared to before.

The flames surrounding him were primarily cosmetic, offering minimal practical effect but serving as a disguise.

Confidence surged in T.N.T; earlier, his attacks barely scratched Huang Yi’s Health Points, but with his transformation, he believed the tides were about to turn.

Unwilling to underestimate him, Huang Yi quickly summoned Little Dragon, mounting it without hesitation!

Seeing escape was futile, Little Dragon abruptly turned mid-air and unleashed a Sacred Flame toward T.N.T, engulfing the fireball entirely!

"Boom!" The collision of the two flames generated a cataclysmic explosion, akin to the detonation of an atomic bomb in mid-air!

The Void Battlefield became shrouded in blinding white light; nothing was visible amidst the dazzling explosion.

Massive shockwaves swept across the Void Battlefield, launching both Huang Yi and T.N.T in opposite directions!

Though much of the impact was absorbed by Little Dragon, Huang Yi’s Health Points were still slashed down to just 36%!

Little Dragon’s Sacred Flame and T.N.T’s Fireball Technique had caused the latter to detonate prematurely, unleashing an indiscriminate shockwave!

Evidently, the collision of the fireball’s Dark Breath with Little Dragon’s Holy Aura triggered the explosive reaction. These polar-opposite forces, inherently incompatible, caused runaway interaction, resulting in the dramatic explosion.

"Bloodthirsty Slaughter!" Huang Yi activated Godslayer’s Star’s attached skill on his Epic Pants, expending 50% Rage to recover 50% of his Health Points, bumping his Health back up to 86%.

T.N.T steadied himself, his two-colored eyes staring intently at the Little Dragon beneath Huang Yi.

It was the first time he had encountered premature detonation of a fireball; this battle had revealed vulnerabilities he hadn’t anticipated, leaving him continually at a disadvantage.
