Chapter 349 - 341: Killing the Leader

The mech never stood up again; its chest was torn open with a large hole, and the power facilities inside were completely destroyed, rendering it unusable.

"Ah! My five million Gold Coins for that Guardian Mecha, just gone like that! Instakill, you and I are irreconcilable enemies!" Mad Traceless stared at the remains of the mecha, his eyes nearly bursting with rage as he screamed.

"Ever since you formed the Anti-Kill Alliance, we’ve been irreconcilable," Huang Yi said quietly. By then, the War Flag he’d been attacking was left with just over a hundred thousand Health Points, and the cracks on the flagpole were becoming more evident, ready to snap at any moment.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" At this moment, the three Guardian Mechas that followed Mad Traceless advanced with heavy steps that shook the earth, their menacing presence overwhelming as they reached Huang Yi’s side. Three huge War Blades slashed down in unison, the light reflecting off the blades illuminating Huang Yi’s figure.

"Swoosh!" Huang Yi’s black wings flapped, and in an instant, he soared into the sky like a black Elf, deftly evading the joint attack of the three Guardian Mechas!

"Fuck you, motherfucker, can’t you just stop for a second?" Upon witnessing this scene, Mad Traceless completely lost it, plopping down on the ground and cursing loudly.

He thought the War Flag was safe, but Huang Yi had come up with a new tactic, tossing fireballs like a Fire Mage, rendering the Guardian Mechas ineffective.

The flames had undergone five Evolutions by now, starting from red, then turning to orange at level 20, yellow after level 40, green at level 60, and now azure. This progression of colors, akin to the order found in a rainbow, became increasingly powerful with each stage, and he wondered what they would evolve into at level 100.

Now, the War Flag had been burned down to its last fifty thousand Health Points, the flagpole charred black, on the verge of breaking at any moment!

Huang Yi suddenly ceased his attack, stopping short of destroying the War Flag. Once the War Flag fell, the Anti-Kill Alliance would be disbanded, the three remaining Guardian Mechas would vanish and cease to exist, and then the giant wolf avatar would have no enemies left to fight, and become a nuisance if left behind.

Mad Traceless, a Hunter and the most formidable among the group, had made these three arrows quite tricky and vicious, quickly striking Huang Yi, yet they were blocked by the golden Dragon Turtle Fish Scale armor.

The other players also launched their attacks, lifting their weapons and sending a dense barrage of strikes hurtling towards Huang Yi.

With a forceful flap of his wings, Huang Yi avoided most of the oncoming attacks, but a few still managed to hit him squarely. Even after being mitigated by his Scales and Legal Protection, the impacts inflicted up to 95% damage, nearly depleting his Health Points.

"Last Stand!" Huang Yi activated the Beast King’s life-saving skill and landed on the ground!

Immediately after, his Scorched Earth Effect took hold again, covering the ground with a layer of Magma, burning the adversaries with a sizzling sound.

"Heavy Judgment!" With one strike of Heavy Judgment, Huang Yi killed a fragile player, bursting him open and recovering 20% of his own Health Points.

Huang Yi continued to activate Heavy Judgment four more times, quickly killing four fragile players and fully restoring his Health Points!

Huang Yi immediately stopped spinning and fixed his gaze on Mad Traceless’s back, charging forward with a Pursuit skill and slamming into him, stunning him for two seconds.

The next moment, Mad Traceless lay on the ground, silent and still.

"Feign death?" Huang Yi retracted his axe and strode towards Mad Traceless step by step.

The Hunter class possessed a well-known Feign Death skill which allowed them to play dead while reducing damage taken. It often fooled NPCs but was ineffective against players, typically used only out of desperation.

As Huang Yi approached Mad Traceless, there was a "crack" underfoot as a foot-locking trap sprung out of nowhere. Vines grew rapidly, locking his legs firmly in place.

At the same time, Mad Traceless immediately got up, recovering from his Feign Death state and fleeing into the distance at high speed!

He too was a skilled player; even though not as strong as Huang Yi, his trap placement was exquisite. During his escape, he had released the trap silently, fooling even Huang Yi and successfully ensnaring him.
