Chapter 141 Orange Weapon

Chapter 141 Orange Weapon

Holding this brand-new hammer in his hand felt incredibly heavy, as if he held the power of ten thousand jun. If it were some frail mage holding it, they probably wouldn’t even be able to lift it. However, for Huang Yi, the weight was just right. He greatly enjoyed the sensation of controlling such power.

He excitedly checked the attributes of the brand-new hammer.

"A priceless treasure!" After finishing looking through the attributes of the weapon, Ye Lan, who stood by his side, couldn’t help but whisper in amazement. Even he, one of the top ten Blacksmiths in China, had such an expression, one could imagine just how powerful this weapon was.

Huang Yi felt a tremendous shock in his heart as well; the attributes of this weapon greatly exceeded his expectations. If there were one word to describe it, it would be—priceless treasure!

This was the first time Huang Yi had seen a weapon with an Attack Power exceeding 1000! And this hammer went even beyond that, reaching 1200-1300! Just the Attack Power alone was equivalent to the boost from three or four pieces of full-body equipment.

However, this was just the beginning; every attribute of this Orange Weapon was incredibly powerful!

The first attribute—Strength was directly increased by 450 points. This was his Main Attribute, directly influencing the strength of his power, and he hadn’t seen any equipment with such high Strength before! If these 450 points of Strength were added to him, the actual effect might reach six to seven hundred points due to the Racial Talents and Class Talent which already granted him an extra 40% Strength.

The second attribute—Attack Power was increased by a direct 15%. This was a percentage boost rather than a fixed number, and since Huang Yi’s Attack Power was already very high, this percentage increase was even more terrifying. The benefit of this attribute would grow along with his strength. The higher Huang Yi’s Attack Power, the stronger this effect would be.

The third attribute—Rage Value upper limit increased by 20, with 1 Rage Value point regenerating every second. This was the first time Huang Yi had seen this attribute. Originally, his Rage Value was capped at 100 points; with this attribute, the cap increased by 20 points, which meant Huang Yi could now unleash more skills and sustain them for longer once his Rage was full. Yet, what excited Huang Yi the most was the effect of the 1 point Rage Value increase every second. This effect meant he could always have Rage available.

Originally, his Rage would deplete at a rate of 1 point per second, which prevented him from using his Class Skills anytime he wished. Even if he had full Rage, it would deplete entirely after 100 seconds. To use a skill, he would have to land a few Normal Attacks in a hurry to accumulate enough Rage. Just like yesterday in the Dandelion Oasis, while facing the pursuit of Guifu Heilang, he had to waste time killing a few Sand Rabbits in order to use his skills. As a result, he was always in a passive state, unable to take the initiative in combat without Rage.

But now, with the weapon regenerating one point of Rage every second, it meant breaking even. As long as he didn’t use any skills after filling his Rage, it would never diminish, akin to a mage who always has Magic Value ready for skill use. This directly changed his combat style, now allowing him to take the offensive.

The fourth attribute—Devour, was actually already present earlier but had now been further enhanced. Huang Yi had always liked the Corpse Shatter effect of the Barbaric Hammer and Split Hammer, where enemies killed could not be resurrected by Revival Skills. This attribute could sometimes be as powerful as a Divine Skill. For example, the final boss between the 10th and 20th floors of the Tower of Pantheons could resurrect three times in a row, each time stronger than the last. Players found it extremely painful to fight this boss, but with the Corpse Shatter effect, Huang Yi only needed to kill the opponent once to completely counter the resurrection tactic. Now, the Corpse Shatter effect was upgraded to Devour; after killing an enemy, not only would it prevent resurrection skills from reviving the enemy, but it would also restore 5% of his own Health Points, greatly increasing his endurance.

The last attribute was the most important one for this Orange Weapon and also the reason why it was a priceless treasure—Borrow Light. This was the attribute both Huang Yi and Ye Lan had been hoping for the most! It was also an attribute that countless other equipment pieces couldn’t possess!

The greatest feature of Borrow Light was its flexibility, allowing the enhancement of any attribute at will. If Huang Yi wanted to increase his Strength, he could use Borrow Light to do so. If he wanted to increase his Constitution, he could enhance that instead. Whatever attribute he desired, he could switch to. However, at any given time, only one attribute could be enhanced, and there was a minute-long cooldown between switches.

Currently, Borrow Light defaulted to increasing Strength by 400 points, but Huang Yi could freely switch to Constitution, critical hits, evasion, or even Movement Speed—essentially, any attribute he chose. Of course, after the switch, the effect might change; converting 400 points of Strength to speed wouldn’t yield 400 points, as there’s no such measurement unit for speed.

Huang Yi couldn’t wait to equip the hammer!

As soon as he switched it on, his Attack Power skyrocketed from the previous 3000 points without the weapon to over 8000 points! Just one weapon directly improved his Attack Power by over 5000 points! The weapon is the most crucial piece of equipment, providing the highest source of Attack Power! A player might have seven pieces of Armor but only one weapon, underscoring the significance of the weapon.

"Thank you!" Huang Yi turned to Ye Lan and thanked him from the bottom of his heart. Without him, this weapon would not have been possible to craft.

"No need to thank me! My blacksmithing skills have also improved a lot because of the forging of this weapon, and my world ranking has risen to 154! This is my proudest piece yet," Ye Lan said modestly. Then he gave Huang Yi a meaningful look, stroked his chin, and asked, "The fact that you own such a powerful weapon suggests you’re not an ordinary player. Who are you, really?"
