Chapter 1050 - 994: Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
Chapter 1050 - 994: Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
This is the first time the Undead Knight has harmed Huang Yi; his long spear damages the enemy’s soul, nearly impossible to defend against!
With just a casual strike, he can knock off up to 15% of Huang Yi’s health points!
At this rate, he only needs to attack Huang Yi a few times to take his life!
"God of Slaughter, your soul is so puny. Instead of hiding in the Hero Empire, you dare to come out and face me!" A vengeful smile appeared on the Undead Knight’s face, his voice slightly excited: "Countless experts of the Demon Clan, even those lofty demigods, can’t wait to kill you to claim credit from the Demon King. Clearly, this honor will be mine."
"Arrogant!" Huang Yi threw down the words, immediately flapping the Wings of Freedom, disappearing instantly into the air.
This time, he utilized the active effect of the Wings of Freedom, remaining in Absolute Invisibility for 20 seconds, attacking enemies or receiving attacks without revealing himself.
The Undead Knight originally intended to thrust at Huang Yi again, but suddenly, Huang Yi’s figure vanished before him. He turned his head, looking around, but there was nothing in the air, no target even if he wanted to attack.
By this time, Huang Yi had subtly shifted to the left side of the Undead Knight, slashing the Wrath of the Godslayer in a sharp arc, striking hard at the gap in the Undead Knight’s arm!
"Sizzle~" Thick white smoke rose up, the final connecting part of that arm finally completely melted, falling off from its body.
"Ah!" The Undead Knight let out a shrill scream, trembling in pain, eyes widening, and stabbed towards the left!
But this stab hit nothing but air, striking nothing.
"Come out!" The Undead Knight roared, frantically waving the long spear, wildly attacking the surrounding air.
Relying on Absolute Invisibility, Huang Yi easily dodged these attacks, repeatedly swinging the Wrath of the Godslayer, the blows landing on the Undead Knight like a drumbeat.
He attacked lightly, not using skills, only making Normal Attacks throughout. Yet, each attack carried Holy damage, melting a part of the Undead Knight’s soul.
Facing repeated blows, a trace of panic appeared in the Undead Knight’s eyes.
His Undead Warhorse was unable to break free from the Binding Demon Rope, greatly reducing his speed, unable to help him Blink away anymore.
His counter-attacks were so weak, failing repeatedly to hit Huang Yi, completely losing the initiative, continuously being beaten.
If this continues, the Undead Knight might be dissolved by Huang Yi’s attacks, vanishing from this world!
A hint of hesitation flashed in his eyes, as if considering something.
But soon, he resolutely looked up solemnly at the sky, shouting loudly: "Great Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, I offer up my soul to convey an important message: the God of Slaughter has strayed far from the territories of the Hero Empire and appeared by my side; now is the perfect opportunity to slay him! I implore you to descend immediately, bringing war, destruction, plague, and death, let him taste the flavor of Doomsday..."
With these words, the Undead Knight’s semi-transparent body suddenly began to dissolve violently. The soul diminished at a speed visible to the naked eye, even more severely than when attacked by Huang Yi.
He was surprisingly hurting himself, it looked like he was committing suicide!
Huang Yi felt a chill in his heart; the words the Undead Knight just uttered clearly intended to reveal his location to other top experts of the Demon Clan, to summon helpers to come and kill him together.
Judging from the respect in the Undead Knight’s voice and his frenzied act of dissolving his own soul, the summoned helpers are very likely to be demigod-level powerhouses!
Demigod-level experts could easily crush Huang Yi with just a flick of a finger!
This is outside the Hero Empire, with no Guardians to protect him!
Huang Yi suddenly felt a sense of urgency, frantically attacking the Undead Knight, the Wrath of the Godslayer turning into a whirlwind. But no matter how he attacked, he couldn’t interrupt the Undead Knight’s bizarre actions.
Soon, half of the Undead Knight’s body had dissolved, leaving only half of him. Even the head had only half a face left, one eye, one nostril, one ear.
The dissolved half of his soul quickly coalesced into a white Light Sphere, entering the air, permeating the depths of space, rapidly conveying an important message to the space where the Seven Archdemons dwell.
...
In the space where the Seven Archdemons reside, there is a desolate desert, barren with no sign of the Demon Clan, only scorpions and spiders roaming about, seemingly a place forgotten by people.
In the middle of this barren desert stands a tall Demon Palace. The foundation of the palace is buried by black sand, some walls weathered and broken open, the entire hall dilapidated, cobwebs covering the ceiling.
The topmost floor of the hall is empty, with only a desk standing, on which lies a closed book.
The cover of the book is covered in a thick layer of dust, sealed for an unknown length of time, never having been opened.
At this moment, the air wavered, and suddenly a white light sphere appeared, the very soul of the Undead Knight.
The light sphere directly rushed into the closed book on the desk!
"Whoosh!" The book seemed to be suddenly activated, emitting a dazzling light that illuminated the entire hall.
The book began to tremble violently, unleashing a shockwave that blew away all the dust on its surface, revealing five prominent characters on its cover—
"Revelations of the End Times"
Then, the book automatically opened, turning to the first page.
The first page depicted a white horse. On its back rode a tall man. His eyes were closed, and he wore a crown on his head, adorned with dazzling jewels that emitted radiant light. In his hand, he held a golden longbow, graceful and elegant, resembling a work of art.
His entire demeanor was elegant and noble, much like a royal Demon Clan member with a ducal rank, ready to conquer the world.
At this moment, the image suddenly came to life, the horse’s hooves galloping, leaping off the page into the air! The rider on the horse also woke up, suddenly opening his eyes, and shot out a gaze of immense Divine Power!
Subsequently, the book opened to the second page.
The second page displayed a red horse. Atop it rode a malevolent general, exuding an air of war and bloodlust. In his hand, he held a great sword, from whose blade fresh blood continuously dripped, as if it had just been through a battle, slaughtering thousands.
This image also came to life, rising from the page into the air, becoming a living knight made of flesh and blood.
The book flipped to the third page! It portrayed an entirely pitch-black horse, all swollen and decayed, riddled with wounds, oozing pus. Flies buzzed around in the air, exuding black poison that spread like a plague.
On this black horse sat a treacherous-faced knight, holding a balance with half a piece of rotting cheese on one side, while the other end was empty.
As this page turned, the black horse knight also came to life, leaping into the air. The balance in the knight’s hand gently swung from the motion.
Finally, the book turned to the fourth page! This page also portrayed a knight. He rode a greenish-gray horse, the color of death, despair, a mix of black and white, evoking thoughts of the desolate Underworld.
This knight also came to life, riding the horse into the air.
With this, the book finally stopped and did not turn pages any further.
In the air, four powerful knights lined up side by side, each riding a white, red, black, or gray horse! They embodied the essences of war, destruction, plague, and death!
All of them emanated a surging aura of Divine Power, soaring to the heavens, piercing through the ceiling, into the sky outside.
From afar in the desert, the direction of the Demon Palace appeared as if four plumes of smoke were rising, with a formidable Divine Power palpable even from a great distance.
These four knights are the renowned Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse under the command of The Seven Archdemons! Also known as the Four Horsemen of the End!
They all possess demigod level prowess, with astonishing combat power, their emergence signaling the arrival of doomsday.
Throughout history, they have participated in countless epic battles, waging wars across worlds, their hooves trampling over countless corpses.
Due to the devastation they wreak wherever they go, even other demon clans avoid them. In recent years, The Seven Archdemons have dispatched other minions to fight, while these Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse remained sealed within the "Revelations of the End Times," not easily appearing.
But this time, the news of Huang Yi’s emergence led to their awakening!
The messenger, the Undead Knight, happened to be one of the subordinates of the gray horse knight among the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse!
At this moment, the four knights all shook their heads from side to side, their bones producing a "crackling" sound, as if having just awoken, stretching their muscles, ready to take action.
Then, the leading white horse rider extended a slender finger, and with a slight stroke in the air!
A teleportation gate suddenly appeared out of nowhere, with a deep teleportation black hole in the center, continuously rotating, exuding a dense Power of Teleportation.
The white horse rider gently nudged the horse’s belly, stepping into the teleportation gate with graceful steps.
The remaining three knights quickly followed, disappearing completely into the teleportation black hole!
The entire Demon Palace became empty once more, with the lone bookshelf left with the opened "Revelations of the End Times," its pages blank.
