Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 550: This Backfired Hard

Chapter 550: This Backfired Hard

Heinkel stood at the edge of the battlefield, his eyes fixed on the chaos unfolding before him as the demon gate continued to spew forth beast demons.

For the first time, uncertainty crept across his face. He didn’t know what to do.

Even his own chimera soldiers, and worse, his generals, had begun to move on their own, unable to resist Haron’s control.

The authority of the Beast Demon Lord spread through them like a silent command. It was inevitable.

Heinkel himself had used demonic beasts originating from Haron to create these chimera soldiers.

Now, that decision had come back to haunt him.

They were no longer fully his to command. Still, not everything had slipped from his grasp.

He remained unaffected.

Unlike the others, it had not been created from beasts but from a dragon, something entirely outside the domain of the Beast Demon Lord.

And so, He did not obey Haron.

A moment later, a small black bird fluttered down and landed on Heinkel’s shoulder.

Its voice, oddly familiar despite its form, broke through the chaos. "Boss... what do we do now?"

Heinkel turned his head slightly. "Pelion..."

He exhaled, tension heavy in his voice. "Honestly, I don’t know. Everything’s become too chaotic."

Unbeknownst to the others, Pelion had not truly died. His chimera form was a demon phoenix, one capable of resurrection.

He had returned from death, but not without cost. His strength was greatly diminished, and the ability came with a long cooldown.

Pelion tilted his head, studying Heinkel. "Then we should fall back for now, my lord. This isn’t our fight anymore... and besides..."

He glanced toward the sky. "There’s still one person who hasn’t even shown himself yet, Garion."

Heinkel’s eyes narrowed at the name.

"Garion..." he muttered. "Yes. The odd one out among us otherworlders... and one of the strongest."

He fell silent for a moment, weighing his options.

"No," he said at last. "We can’t run yet. If we leave now, we’ll lose any chance of understanding what’s really happening."

Scanning the battlefield, Heinkel quickly spotted a suitable vantage point.

"Let’s hide there first," he said. "We’ll observe the situation before making our next move."

Pelion gave a small nod. "Fine by me, boss."

---

Sianor rushed forward without a second thought, even though a massive swarm of demon beasts loomed ahead of him.

Instead of fear, a fierce joy lit up his face. With a sharp motion, he summoned his sword and charged straight into the horde.

One after another, the demon beasts fell, not with a struggle, but as if erased.

The moment Sianor’s blade passed through them, their bodies disintegrated into ash.

"Haha... finally, demons," he muttered, his grin widening. "The moment I’ve been waiting for. Now is the time for Solmira to shine."

A surge of energy pulsed outward from him. Every demon touched by that force burned instantly to ashes, leaving nothing behind.

From the rear, Sorien watched Sianor, his sovereign, with an excited expression.

The sight stirred something in him, and he couldn’t help but feel the same thrill.

"He’s right," Sorien said, his voice rising. "The demons invaded us... so this is our moment. The moment for Solmira!"

His eyes gleamed as he stepped forward. "Let’s show them the strength of the Solmira Clan!"

The Solmira cultivators behind him nodded in unison, their resolve firm.

Then, like Sianor, Sorien and the others surged into battle.

The demons fell easily before them as none of the creatures had reached the Fourth Realm, making them no match for the clan’s power.

Haron observed the battlefield, his expression twisting with fury.

"How dare you kill my beasts!" he roared.

With a burst of demonic power, he lunged forward, intent on slaughtering the Solmira cultivators himself.

But before he could reach them, a figure appeared in his path.

Rachel.

She stood calmly before him, a grin tugging at her lips. "That’s enough, Haron. Your opponent is me."

Haron frowned, his eyes burning with irritation. "Move aside, bitch. I don’t have time for you."

Rachel’s grin only widened.

"Maybe you don’t," she said lightly, "but I have plenty of time for you."

Without waiting for him to react, Rachel twisted her body and drove a punch straight toward him.

Haron reacted instantly, crossing his clawed arms to block. But just like before, the impact sent him skidding backward.

His claws trembled as he lowered them, the force of the blow still reverberating through his body.

"AARGH! Damn it!" he roared. "What are you? How can you inflict this much pain on me? I am the Beast Demon Lord, for God’s sake!"

Rachel laughed, the sound calm and almost amused.

"That’s the problem," she replied. "You’re just a Demon Lord."

Her eyes gleamed faintly. "And I’m a god."

Behind her, Sianor watched with a small smirk. "Rachel, hold him back. The Solmira Clan and I will handle the rest."

His gaze shifted to the battlefield, where demon beasts continued to fall like withered leaves. "To us, they’re nothing more than prey."

Rachel glanced over her shoulder and gave a casual wave. "Don’t worry. Just keep going. I’ll take care of him."

Sorien, standing nearby, let out a low chuckle as he stepped forward. His grin sharpened as he looked toward Haron.

"Try not to die too quickly, Demon Lord," he said. "I’m just starting to enjoy this."

Haron’s expression darkened, rage twisting his features into something feral. "You lowly humans... how dare you humiliate me like this?"

The air trembled as his roar tore through the battlefield, his authority surging outward like a violent storm.

As the Beast Demon Lord, Haron possessed the power not only to command lesser beasts but also to absorb the strength of any of them weaker than himself.

And here, every demon present was weaker.

Streams of demonic energy began to rip free from the surrounding beasts.

One by one, they collapsed, their lifeforce drained as the energy surged toward Haron in writhing currents of dark power.

His body began to glow, the air around him warping under the pressure. It was a clear sign...

He was about to transform.
