Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 534: Become The Disaster

Chapter 534: Become The Disaster

[Hear me, Dahlia. Your path is different... yet also the same as Garion’s and the others.]

Dahlia frowned, folding her arms. "Explain it properly."

[God Gym members do not follow fixed cultivation systems. Each of you walks a unique path.]

She gave a small nod. "I already guessed that much."

Lifting her chin, she pressed, "So what’s the actual difference?"

[At its core, the God Physique path is a beast path.]

Dahlia blinked. "Wait... what?"

Her brows knit together. "A beast path?"

[Yes. Like true beasts, your growth is not restricted by rigid stages or artificial limits.]

[If the potential exists... you evolve naturally into the Perfection Realm and beyond.]

She fell silent, absorbing the explanation. Her gaze drifted slightly. "So I don’t ’break through’ like others."

[You grow into it. But your case is... special.]

Her eyes sharpened. "Because of Navrel."

[Exactly.]

A faint pulse rippled through her body as Atlas continued.

[That demonic dragon didn’t just increase your power. It altered your very foundation. It raised your ceiling.]

Dahlia slowly clenched her fist. "So when you say ’potential’..."

Her eyes dropped to her clawed hand. "...you mean how far I can go."

[And how easily you can reach it.]

She nodded. "Like a bloodline."

A faint smirk formed. "A dragon will always have greater potential than a lizard."

She paused, then added, "But sometimes... a lizard can still kill a dragon."

[Exactly.]

A trace of approval laced Atlas’s tone.

Dahlia lifted her head again. "Then stop circling around it."

Her gaze locked forward, steady and sharp. "What’s the best path for me?"

[For you... the optimal choice is the Calamity Dragon Path.]

One brow rose. "...Calamity Dragon?"

[It branches from the Sky Dragon Path but it’s not weaker; instead, it goes far beyond it.]

[Not just control over weather, but the embodiment of disaster itself.]

Her eyes gleamed faintly. "Storms... tsunamis... typhoons... earthquakes..."

[Yes. All of that... and more. But there is a cost.]

Her expression didn’t waver. "Of course there is."

[Unlike other paths, you will not gain power instantly. You must endure each calamity before you can claim it.]

She tilted her head slightly. "So I suffer first... then I grow stronger."

[Correct.]

There was no hesitation. "Sounds fair."

[And in your case... you will also have to endure the demonic energy of the dragon you absorbed.]

Dahlia’s smirk deepened. "Good."

Her grip tightened, claws flexing. "Let’s do it."

[Understood.]

---

In the next instant, the world around her shattered into chaos.

The sky twisted overhead.

Dark clouds gathered in seconds, pressing down as a violent storm took shape.

Lightning struck without warning, again and again, crashing toward her.

Dahlia raised both arms and took it head-on.

The impact slammed into her body. Her muscles tensed, her wings twitched, and her entire form trembled under the force...

But she didn’t fall.

Then the wind came.

A violent current wrapped around her, pulling and twisting, trying to tear her apart.

Dahlia spread her wings wide and dug her claws into the ground.

The storm dragged at her, trying to lift her into the air.

She leaned forward, forcing herself down. "Not... happening..."

Her body trembled under the pressure, but she held her ground.

Then something else moved.

From within her, a cold, heavy presence began to spread.

It seeped through her veins, thick, dark, and suffocating.

Demonic energy surged outward, coiling around her body before pressing inward again, clawing toward her core, trying to take control.

Dahlia’s eyes sharpened. "You again."

She clenched her teeth and forced it back.

Now her body shook harder, not from the storm, not from the wind, but from within. "Is that all you’ve got?"

The three calamities bore down on her at once.

For a moment, her body bent and was on the verge of breaking down.

But she pushed back. She couldn’t give up now. Then, in the next instant, the pressure began to weaken.

The storm lost its fury. The wind faltered. The presence inside her receded.

Dahlia exhaled slowly. "That’s it?"

The chaos faded.

Silence returned.

It was over.

A short laugh escaped her as her shoulders relaxed. "Heh... I beat all of them."

[Congratulations.]

Dahlia lifted her head, a grin forming. "Yeah... now begin the transformation."

[Understood.]

---

Outside, the entire ordeal had lasted less than a minute.

Yet the moment Dahlia’s presence shifted, everyone felt it.

The massive black dragon in the crater went still. Then, slowly, she began to rise into the air.

A faint glow spread across her scales. Something within her was changing.

Carmille stood below, watching. Her eyes narrowed slightly with interest. "Interesting... you’re actually breaking through."

Her tail swayed once behind her, but she made no move to interfere. She simply remained where she was, observing.

From the side, Pelion raised a brow. "Why aren’t you attacking her yet?"

Carmille didn’t look at him. A faint smile curved her lips. "Why would I interrupt her?"

Her tail flicked again, slow and deliberate. "I want to fight her at her best."

Pelion blinked, then let out a short laugh. "Hah... I see."

Resting his chin on his hand, he watched with renewed interest.

On the other side, Floren glanced at Rachel again, snapping his fan shut. "Well, congratulations, Miss Rachel."

Rachel didn’t answer immediately. Her gaze remained locked on Dahlia, unblinking.

Clark stepped forward, his expression composed. "My congratulations as well, Miss Rachel. The first Perfection Realm of the God Gym is being born."

Sianor said nothing. With Clark and Floren having already offered their congratulations, there was no need.

He simply kept his eyes on Dahlia, vigilant, ensuring that nothing went wrong.

---

The glow intensified.

Light wrapped around Dahlia’s massive form, pulsing again and again as the pressure in the air rose.

Then... her body began to shrink.

The enormous dragon shape slowly condensed, scales folding inward, wings drawing close as the light reshaped everything.

When the light faded, a woman stood in the air, but her presence was way, way heavier than the dragon’s.

[Congratulations. Your transformation is complete.]
