Tessa was shocked as she stated hard at him. did he just reject her like that and wad her off with money, just like that !.
She had thought he loved her but he was nothing order than a beast who used people to satisfy himself not caring about other people feelings.
" Really, you want me to go. look at you and how selfish you are, thinking more about yourself alone not caring about feelings, do you even have conscience" Tessa blurted out angrily as she came to face him, staring hard at his cold mean face which obviously means nothing to her at all. she love him with all of her heart, she can't allow him treat her like a piece of thrash when she's not one.
Luca kept mute, staring blankly at the floor which annoyed her the most. his silence was killing her" isn't it obvious you have suddenly become dumb at a simple question I asked you and you can't simply give an answer to that"
Luca laughed wickedly, a mischievous laughter then he stopped and looked at her. his eyes almost red as a wild fire that could burn a desert if set ablaze.
Tessa moved backwards as Luca slowly walked towards her. hitting her back on the wall, she had totally regret why she talked to him in such way. she'd had totally forgotten what he was capable if doing as her anger had overwhelmed her, blocking her brain from reasoning twice before she uttered such word to him.
Luca held her neck tightly, she couldn't breath and she was trying to push her hand away off her neck but that wasn't working as he was much stronger than her and he tightened his grip on her throat. she felt he was going to break her bones.
" How dare you talk to me in such manner. you really want to see the beast in me" he thundered tightening his hand around her neck. he watched wickedly with a grin on her face as she was slowly suffocating then he released his hand as she sank on the floor.
Coughing and coughing so loud as she tried to get back her breath. he could have killed her but she was the only daughter of a wealthy man who was also influential and those pleading eyes that reminded him of Alvira pleading eyes when he tried strangling her.
He took his cell phone when he turned to look at Tessa only to find her still gasping for breath and trying to crawl on the floor to her something.
Then it struck him that she was asthmatic, he had totally forgotten that she was an asthmatic patient. he dropped his cell phone quickly and rushed to her bag, searching for her inhaler. he found it and quickly rushed pressing it on her mouth.
Gosh he likes Tessa a lot and he would not want her dead at all. he only used that to threaten her, she is the only one who arouse him quickly and had been really useful to him.

The following morning, Alvira woke, exhausted and heavy eyed after a night tossing and turning.
She had lain awake for hours listening to the sounds of the cool night and Luca's footsteps if he was really going to come and strangle her as she had dreamt.
She had eventually dropped off, only to wake periodically, thump her pillow aside and tried to sleep again.
Kicking the sheet aside while feeling a little depressed and flat. she padded into her bathroom and stared at her pale face and tangled hair in the mirror.
She showered in the opulent marble bathroom, which not only contained a large walk in the shower. but a sunken spa tub which she had never seen in her home.
Alvira showered and dressed in a blue camisole and a pair of shorts. she walked away back into the kitchen. she found fruits and a basket of fresh rolls on the counter.
The fridge was filled with foods. different types.
Abruptly starving, because she had been too wound up to eat anything but just a few custard. Alvira helped herself to bread and coffee with a section of mouth watering dishes from the fridge.
She had a little honey to her tea. she really love adding honey more than sugar beside it has its own advantage. she prefer using honey than sugar.
Loading her snacks into a small tray, she carried it through the sitting room and set it down on an elegant coffee tables when done eating, she walked out of the room only to discover that the nervous tension that had dragged her all morning had been unnecessary as Luca had left the house early for God knows where!.
She was happy, she got to know that through one who had been working for Luca for more than a decade.
Feeling so relieved. she walked around the house examining the beautiful things she saw while hoping she won't see one of his guards beside she was told never to leave her room but she intend sneaking back in before he comes back beside the guard already told her that he won't come back early.
Her happiness at her insulation in the fabulous mansion was by the dreaded notion that Luca hadn't returned. it was no business of hers where he went to or what he does !.
She strolled through the house, examining the art on the walls as she paused to examine it.
Thirty minutes of intermittent walking and climbing, she felt tired then she turned off to go back to her room.
She was climbing down a step, when she saw one of Luca's guard coming towards her direction. her heart skipped a beat as she hurriedly retreated to her bedroom, climbing into the bed and tried to sleep.
She just hope he didn't see her so she don't get reported. tired to sleep.
She kept tossing and turning in a tangle of silken bed clothes. she pushed out of the bed to a shelf where she saw some books. wow, that gladden her heart cause she really love reading so she took one to read.
