The sky over Federal Star City was as blue as ever. As Jiang Qiuqiu sat in her hovercar, she searched for winter clothes on her terminal. Soon, all the clothing stores in Federal Star City popped up.

Jiang Qiuqiu chose a mall that looked promising and got out of the hovercar once it arrived at the designated stop on her route.

The streets were bustling with people. Jiang Qiuqiu soon entered a winter clothing store called "Plush."

The store was huge. As far as the eye could see, there were sections for men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing. A sales clerk greeted Jiang Qiuqiu the moment she walked in.

"Hi there, miss. Can I help you with anything?"

"I’d like to take a look at your winter clothes."

"Are you shopping for yourself?"

Jiang Qiuqiu nodded, and the clerk led her to the store’s west wing. "This section has all of this year’s trendiest new arrivals!"

"Over here, we have retro-style padded jackets inspired by Ancient Earth. They’re lined with Polar-fleece, so they can block out virtually any cold wind. Would you like to take a closer look, miss?"

Jiang Qiuqiu’s gaze followed the clerk’s finger, and she froze for a moment.

She had assumed "Ancient Earth elements" would refer to patterns or writings from Earth that people of this era had discovered through archaeology. But she never expected—

One row of jackets had a plain white background with a picture of the planet Earth printed directly over the left breast. To the right, the words "Earth, I love you" were written in various languages.

There were also more creative designs that used Earth’s colors to form waves across the entire garment, cleverly interweaving mountains, rivers, and oceans.

Looking at them felt like gazing upon time itself.

"Miss? Do you like them?"

The sales clerk took one of the jackets off the rack. "If you like it, you can try it on."

After spending over an hour in the west wing, Jiang Qiuqiu had bought two outfits and a pair of shoes. That was pretty much everything she needed to buy for the day.

But since it was still early, Jiang Qiuqiu decided to browse around a little longer.

After a while, she spotted a dedicated pajama section in a corner of the west wing.

All the plush pajamas here were designed to look like animals. At a glance, she could see rabbits, horses, huskies, wolves, and cats. Before that incident, Jiang Qiuqiu would have just thought these were cute pajamas.

But now... she was starting to understand.

The sales clerk was clearly in the know. "Miss, are you single, or do you have a partner?"

Jiang Qiuqiu let out a soft "Oh." "Is that so?"

"It’s true," the clerk said with a mysterious smile. "Or perhaps... you’d prefer to see your boyfriend wearing one that matches *your* genes..."

"We have plenty of styles in the men’s section, too."

"Uh, we can talk about that later. Do you have any based on bear genes?"

"Of course!" The clerk led the way immediately. "This whole row is bears. What species are you looking for? We have polar bears, brown bears, black bears, spectacled bears, and pandas~ You name it, we’ve got it!"

Jiang Qiuqiu froze the moment she saw the panda pajama set.

Previously, when she’d seen Mo Si’s round, chubby, black ears, her first thought had been of a bear that was completely black. But now, seeing the giant panda set, it suddenly hit her. Giant pandas might be black and white, but their ears are black too!
