Chapter 110: New Queen Of Darkshade Kingdom
Chapter 110: New Queen Of Darkshade Kingdom
Zeke was one of Eiravyn’s elite bodyguard who was in charge of overseeing everything happening in the human realm, with the way Caspian sees it, the man can easily bring the grandparents here so he can attend his friend birthday celebration, it was a win-win situation.
"No can do. You have to be with them since they don’t know Zeke, you have to assure them that everything is fine. That’s your work there."
Caspian opened his mouth to protest further, only to be interrupted by Eiravyn.
He took out the ink on the table and scribbled something on a piece of parchment paper before handling the note to Caspian.
"I want you to give this to Zeke when you get to the human realm, he will know what to do." Eiravyn ordered.
Caspian observed the piece of paper in his hands. If one should look, you would think that there was nothing on the paper despite how Eiravyn had taken his time to write on it, the paper still looked plain. But Caspian knew it was a code and it can only be activated once to avoid it falling into the hands of his enemies.
He sighed as he finally slid the note into his pants pockets, only to hear Eiravyn say,
"And when you get there, I don’t want you to say anything that will frighten—" Eiravyn was about to say when a voice resounded through the vampire king’s mind.
"Your Majesty, you must come to the ballroom immediately." Celrean voice echoed through his mind, and Eiravyn halted what he was about to say.
"What is the problem, Celrean?" His voice had dropped to a low octave as he wondered what happened in his absence, only to hear his royal commander’s voice again in his mind.
"There’s a little commmotion involving your mate—"
Eiravyn did not wait to hear more than that as he stood up from his chair at once. The chair shifted backwards with a loud screeching sound from the amount of force he used to stand up.
Caspian turned to look at him, wondering what had gotten the king fired up, since the royal commander had communicated with the king privately.
"Do you plan to make your presence known now?" He asked instead, but Eiravyn didn’t respond, it was almost as if he could not register the other person that was in the room with him, and instead he went out of the room, closing the door loudly before him that Caspian had to push it open again for him to walk alongside him.
Judging from the king’s stormy features, Caspian already knew what had ruined the depot’s mood. He sighed as he made his way to meet Eiravyn who was standing in the railings of the gallery, leading down the stairs, while hoping that it was something exciting.
Eiravyn walked leisurely to the balcony that overlooked the entire dance floor to see what had happened.
While guests were in the ballroom, enjoying the music that was being played, with some entering one after the other. The whole place looked rather normal and he noticed nothing strange, until it was not.
Standing in front of the chairs that had been arranged according to the titles and ranks, a crowd was formed around someone, Eiravyn didn’t need anybody to know who the small crowd coveted, it was his mate. Eiravyn’s had narrowed on something that looked oddly familiar and he was sure it was the same dress he had seen on his mate, only this time it wasn’t her wearing the dress.
"We have many people gathered in the ballroom this time," he heard Caspiaj say from beside him but his gaze did not leave the ballroom, Caspian who had still not noticed anything strange continue to comment.
"I thought by not with the commoners presence this place would have been turned to a market in the pastorals but it looks much better." Caspian said with a nod.
When his eyes drifted to the other side of the room where Eiravyn’s gaze was fixed in concentration. At first his red eyes narrowed on the crowd before his eyes widened and in the next moment Caspian bursted out in a fit of laughter throwing his head back in amusement.
"This!" He drawled. "What the hell is going on here?" Caspian asked in an amused voice.
"It looked like someone is trying to mimic your mate now, wouldn’t you say do?" He continued with a smile, and Eiravyn turned to look at him with a scowl on us face.
"Why don’t I settle that, while you calm down. I’m sure it just a little misunderstanding." He said and walked down the stairs to go over to meet Serena.
Eiravyn’s eyes continued to watch them as the commotion died down and Ava walked out with a scoff. He could get to the roof of the matter. Eiravyn was aware of the things young women do to others they were jealous of. Before he turned wouldn’t have paid any mind to the ladies making a mockery of themselves, but now that it was directed at his mate, he couldn’t sit back.
He will make sure this kind of a thing never repeated itself again. It was time to set boundaries of, Eiravyn said to himself.
Seeing that Caspian had settled down in a chair beside Serena, he started making his way down the stairs, his red eyes never leaving Serena as he marched down in finesse. He heard the royal guard announced his arrival and stride down to stand in front of the platform that was already made or how huge.
Feeling Serena eyes on him, one side of his lips pulled up, and his red eyes shifted from her to look at the people gathered.
"My lords, my ladies, esteemed guests."
Eiravyn said, his voice was not loud, but he was taking to a dynasty of vampires, and they could hear him clearly.
"Tonight we gather to celebrate a momentous occasion. For centuries, I ah e ruled this great kingdom with my might and power. But tonight, I reveal to you a new Chapter in my life."
