He’s so Flirty

Chapter 75

Chapter 75

Chapter 75   “You said you’d give yourself to me… does that still count?”

In the silent, chilly stairwell, every slight tremor in the girl’s voice seemed magnified, and the complex emotions in her eyes and words were all transmitted to Wen Yufeng’s ears.

Wen Yufeng could hardly believe it.

He suddenly turned around, his dark eyes trembling. “—Say it again.”

“……”

Qin Qing’s long lashes fluttered as she looked down.

She had borrowed courage from somewhere, which had filled her heart in an instant. But given her personality, just managing to say it this time was already quite difficult.

How could she possibly say it a second time…

Seeing that Wen Yufeng had turned back around, clearly abandoning the thought of leaving immediately, Qin Qing felt a slight relief and began to retract the fingers she had been holding onto his wrist.

Unfortunately, before her fingertips had even moved two inches, Wen Yufeng suddenly pulled her back, gripping her hand tightly.

At the same time, Wen Yufeng applied pressure with his elbow, pulling her a few steps closer to him.

“……!”

Qin Qing stumbled in surprise, her eyes wide as she looked up, meeting his gaze that seemed to hold the entire galaxy in its depths.

“Say it again.”

His voice was deep, and even the air in the silent stairwell seemed to shiver.

“……You clearly heard me!”

Qin Qing finally couldn’t hold back any longer and spoke directly to him.

Wen Yufeng didn’t say anything. His dark eyes were fixed on her figure without blinking.

“……”

Under his intense gaze, Qin Qing couldn’t help but turn her face away, slightly flustered. “I… I want to get back the gift you gave me before. Does it still count…”

Her voice almost became too faint to hear.

But for Wen Yufeng, it was enough.

He suddenly moved, pushing close to her, and embraced her from behind, pinning her against the wall.

In an instant, their eyes met, and the distance between their noses was less than an inch.

So close that their breaths mingled, carrying a burning warmth.

Wen Yufeng’s lips curled into a smile, his eyes unable to hide the uncontainable laughter, almost spilling out from his dark eyes—

“Once given, it’s non-returnable. Qin Qing, have you made up your mind?”

“……”

The strange nickname left Qin Qing momentarily stunned, and as she regained her senses, her cheeks flushed uncontrollably.

Qin Qing looked at the person before her with slight annoyance, her eyes shimmering with a soft glow, her lips slightly parted with the words, “Well… then I don’t want it anymore.”

“…………”

This close face was his long-held desire, every contour he had kissed in dreams. At this moment, it seemed as if he had pushed aside countless dreams, leading him to an irresistible sinking feeling.

Wen Yufeng’s gaze darkened slightly, his already suppressed breathing becoming gradually more constrained as he lowered himself slowly. His voice was light and hoarse, “……It’s too late. — I’m already yours, non-returnable.”

“……”

Qin Qing couldn’t help but close her eyes.

A soft kiss fell on her lips, her lips even carrying a hint of softness.

Wen Yufeng’s eyes deepened, his hand around her waist tightening unconsciously.

He lifted Qin Qing slightly, intending to deepen the kiss.

Until suddenly, a clear sound of footsteps was heard, seemingly coming from upstairs, waking the two pressed against the wall.

“——!”

Qin Qing’s eyes widened in panic, instinctively pushing Wen Yufeng away a bit.

Her wide eyes were full of alarm.

And the footsteps were getting closer and closer.

Qin Qing’s cheeks were flushed, and she hurriedly looked around, intending to pull Wen Yufeng towards the metal door of the stairwell.

However, as she turned, Wen Yufeng pulled her back, pressing her against the wall.

Immediately after, Wen Yufeng’s figure enveloped her, completely pinning her between his body and the wall.

He held Qin Qing in front of him.

At the same time, he leaned down and kissed the girl’s slightly flushed ear. “Don’t be nervous.”

“……I’m here.”

“………………”

Qin Qing’s cheeks were burning, and the footsteps seemed to have reached this floor. There was no time for her to drag Wen Yufeng to hide.

In frustration, Qin Qing pinched his lean waist.

— It’s precisely because he is here that she is so nervous!

“Hmm…”

A low, muffled sound escaped Wen Yufeng’s lips next to her ear.

The tone carried a touch of amusement, with a magnetic and seductive quality—

“You can squeeze harder… it’s too light.”

And it was almost pressed against her ear…

Qin Qing’s face was burning, feeling as though if this continued, she would surely reach the point of self-combustion.

The footsteps had finally reached the floor where Qin Qing and Wen Yufeng were.

The person outside seemed surprised to find such an affectionate couple, their footsteps hesitated for a while before slowly moving closer, heading towards the metal door of the stairwell beside Qin Qing and Wen Yufeng.

Qin Qing was anxious that it might be someone she knew, her breathing quickening.

Then she suddenly noticed the stronger, more urgent heartbeat coming from Wen Yufeng’s chest, pressed against her cheek.

“So you’re nervous too…”

She whispered softly.

“……”

Wen Yufeng didn’t answer but simply smiled.

— If she stayed in this close embrace a little longer, his heartbeat skipping a beat would not have surprised him.

But he hoped the person outside would walk a bit slower, to prolong this moment.

As if hearing his “prayer,” the footsteps slowly approached and then suddenly stopped right outside the metal door.

——

“……Qin Qing?”

The incredulous question rang out.

Qin Qing’s body tensed up.

Wen Yufeng’s heart skipped a beat.

In the silent stairwell, Wen Yufeng slowly removed his hand from Qin Qing’s waist and straightened up, taking a step back.

He usually had first-class reflexes, but in these few short seconds, every movement was stiff and sluggish.

However, any attempt to delay was futile. Qin Qing’s gaze met Li Jinghe’s as soon as she stepped into view.

Li Jinghe’s initial disbelief turned into a cold, stern expression once the reality set in.

Her face darkened as she turned away, sweeping her gaze over Wen Yufeng before focusing back on Qin Qing.

“You’re coming home with me.”

After speaking, Li Jinghe didn’t even look at the two of them again and turned straight towards the elevator.

Wen Yufeng tried to follow, but Qin Qing grabbed him.

The girl, who had been pale due to the unexpected situation, had now calmed down a little.

She looked helplessly at Wen Yufeng, who was standing beside her.

“I’ll go with you.” Wen Yufeng’s expression darkened.

Though he had never met Li Jinghe, he had heard many stories about her from Qin Qing over the past two years in high school.

So he knew very well what a strong-willed mother Li Jinghe was.

This made him worry about Qin Qing.

However, Qin Qing shook her head.

“It’s no use if you go. Mom will be even angrier.”

She mouthed to him and added a reassuring smile. “Mom will be angrier.”

Wen Yufeng furrowed his brow.

Qin Qing glanced at the elevator, realizing time was pressing. She grabbed Wen Yufeng’s wrist, stood on tiptoe, and quickly kissed his cheek.

“Another day… you can come over and visit them properly.”

After speaking, the girl blushed and quickly pushed open the metal door, running outside.

By the time Wen Yufeng came to his senses and hurriedly followed out of the stairwell, the mother and daughter had already entered the elevator and turned towards the outside.

Wen Yufeng’s gaze met Qin Qing’s for a moment, feeling the unmistakable chill from beside him.

He sighed inwardly, turning his gaze and bowing respectfully to Li Jinghe in the elevator.

“Goodbye, Auntie.”

“……” Li Jinghe looked at him expressionlessly.

A moment later, the elevator doors closed.

Until the gap was completely closed, the man outside maintained his posture without a hint of hesitation.

The elevator ascended.

Qin Qing sighed.

“Mom, I and he—”

“Let’s talk at home. I don’t want to argue with you outside.”

Li Jinghe’s voice was stern.

Qin Qing sighed again, but this time it was within her heart.

— On the first day of reconciliation, she was caught by her mother.

She and Wen Yufeng really had no luck…

But until she followed Li Jinghe out of the elevator, Qin Qing knew that her current feelings, besides nervousness, were mostly joy.

— The long-burdened relief of seven years, once released, brought an unchangeable joy.

Once inside the house, after changing shoes, Li Jinghe sat down on the sofa with a stern expression.

She pointed to the spot next to her. “Qin Qing, come here. We need to talk.”

Qin Qing changed her shoes and walked over after acknowledging.

Grandma Qin, coming out of the bathroom, looked at the tense negotiation with confusion. “What happened? Jinghe, weren’t you fine when you went to pick up Sweetie?”

“……” Qin Qing felt bitter inside.

So she had specifically gone to pick her up and still happened upon this?… Clearly, today wasn’t a good day to go out.

Li Jinghe initially didn’t want to speak, but since Grandma Qin asked, she couldn’t remain silent.

So Li Jinghe glanced at Qin Qing and then coldly said, “I was planning to take a walk and went down the stairs. I didn’t expect to see Qin Qing clinging to a boy in the corner when I reached the first floor—

late at night, just the two of them; if I hadn’t caught them, I really don’t know what would have happened.”

Li Jinghe’s anger grew as she spoke, and after a few seconds of holding it back, she turned her face away.

“—What she did, you can ask her yourself!”

Grandma Qin was taken aback by the whole story.

“Sweetie, you and that… Mr. Fang have progressed this quickly? Did you know each other before?”

Embarrassed and annoyed, Qin Qing was momentarily stunned and then realized who Grandma Qin was referring to. She was somewhat at a loss for words.

“Grandma… it’s not him. Mr. Fang said after sending me back today that we’re just ordinary friends.”

Grandma Qin was surprised. “Then who is it? — Sweetie, don’t you have a boyfriend?”

Qin Qing hesitated for a moment.

After a few seconds, seeing that Grandma Qin and Li Jinghe would not let her “escape” easily, Qin Qing had no choice but to admit.

“It’s someone you know. The one who used to live across from your house…”

Grandma Qin was stunned for a few seconds and then clapped her hands in surprise.

“Ah, it’s Xiao Yu!”
