He’s so Flirty

Chapter 25

Chapter 25

Chapter 25 Heard Yuge Is Going to Study Hard“Little classmate, boys and girls shouldn’t have such close contact… didn’t you know that?”

Hearing the low, slightly irritated voice, Qin Qing looked up at the boy who had suddenly appeared in front of her.

She hadn’t fully grasped the situation, but her instincts made her nod.

“I know.”

Wen Yufeng’s gaze shifted slightly to the side, his eyes carrying a faint, cold smile.

“Then what were you just doing?”

“I was explaining a problem to him,” Qin Qing answered honestly. After speaking, she seemed to understand what Wen Yufeng was trying to convey.

The girl wrinkled her small nose. “But that saying means that unfamiliar men and women shouldn’t personally exchange or receive things.”

“Doesn’t explaining a problem count as giving and receiving?” Wen Yufeng asked.

Qin Qing thought seriously for two seconds and nodded. “It does count.”

But something still seemed off…

The girl frowned as she tried to figure out where the logic broke down.

Before she could finish her thought, Wen Yufeng had already turned to look at Yu Wen, who was still sitting stiffly in his chair.

Wen Yufeng slightly lowered his gaze, his right hand casually in his pocket while his left hand protectively held the small-framed girl behind him. His handsome, chiseled features carried an almost indifferent expression.

Wen Yufeng’s tall and slender frame, combined with the advantage of height and his dark, intimidating gaze, was enough to make anyone feel a chill down their spine with just a glance.

Seeing Yu Wen’s obvious retreating reaction, Wen Yufeng’s thin lips curled into a faint, mocking smile that quickly faded.

He withdrew his right hand from his pocket and leaned forward, his hand landing on the table beside Yu Wen with a light but deliberate tap.

Simultaneously, his forward-leaning posture made him resemble a drawn bow, ready to unleash a deadly arrow at any moment.

“…Yu Wen?”

The boy’s words were enunciated slowly, his bright smile revealing red lips and white teeth, but his pitch-black eyes were as dark as an endless night.

“…”

Yu Wen, caught in Wen Yufeng’s wolf-like gaze, felt as though an invisible hand was crushing his heart.

He awkwardly glanced at the girl who was now hidden behind Wen Yufeng.

Before he could look away, Wen Yufeng’s faint smile disappeared, leaving only a nearly icy, expressionless face.

“Try looking at her again.”

The chilling tone finally brought Qin Qing out of her “logical inconsistency” dilemma and back to reality.

Realizing the sudden tension in the air, Qin Qing was stunned for a moment. Then she lightly tugged at her wrist, which was still held in Wen Yufeng’s grasp.

Wen Yufeng’s attention was immediately diverted.

He turned back to look down at the small girl, who was now frowning in confusion.

“Wen Yufeng, why are you angry again?”

“…”

Wen Yufeng didn’t respond, just silently gazing down at Qin Qing with his dark eyes.

After a few seconds, he turned away and let out a light “tsk.”

“…I must be sick.”

Otherwise, how could he go from being on the brink of exploding to suddenly feeling calm and even a bit cheered up just by looking at her?

When Qin Qing looked up again, she saw the corners of Wen Yufeng’s thin lips curving into a slight smile.

Her intended denial got stuck in her throat.

Qin Qing wrinkled her little nose.

…Sudden mood swings like that might indeed be a sign of something.

Before she could finish her thoughts, Wen Yufeng had already grabbed her books with one hand and was leading her out of the reading room.

As they left, he cast a seemingly casual glance at Yu Wen.

His gaze was as cold as a frozen tundra.

Yu Wen shivered hard.

Before Qin Qing could react, she was already pulled outside.

Just as they exited the reading room, they ran into Zhao Zirui and Li Xiang, who had rushed over, out of breath.

Seeing Wen Yufeng dragging Qin Qing out, his icy and fierce gaze sweeping over everything, Li Xiang and Zhao Zirui exchanged a glance before quickly approaching.

When they got closer, Li Xiang cautiously stopped.

“Yu Ge… did you leave him in one piece?”

“…”

Wen Yufeng shot a blank look at Li Xiang.

Li Xiang silently clicked his tongue. Judging by the situation, it seemed nothing serious had happened inside.

He couldn’t tell if it was because Yu Ge had a good temper or strong self-control…

Before he could finish pondering, Wen Yufeng had already walked some distance away, pulling Qin Qing along.

Li Xiang and Zhao Zirui both breathed a sigh of relief and followed, only to hear the new classmate softly protesting—

“I hadn’t finished explaining the problem to him.”

“He said he didn’t need it anymore.”

“…Did he say that? I don’t think I heard him?”

“He said it.”

Li Xiang and Zhao Zirui exchanged complex looks, and finally, Li Xiang hurriedly caught up.

“Qin Qing, do you know that guy Yu Wen?”

Qin Qing saw Li Xiang catching up to talk to her, so she widened her almond-shaped eyes slightly and, after a couple of seconds, responded with a nod.

“Yes, he introduced himself last week.”

“…You’ve known him since last week?”

Wen Yufeng abruptly halted his steps.

Qin Qing stopped as well, her clear, bright eyes showing innocent confusion. “Yes.”

Li Xiang forced a smile. “Qin Qing, Yu Wen doesn’t have a good reputation at Yishi.”

“…”

Qin Qing looked at him, puzzled.

Feeling awkward under her innocent gaze, Li Xiang quickly looked away.

“He’s the school heartthrob, you see, and he’s used that face to trick many girls like you.”

Zhao Zirui, walking beside Li Xiang, added, “His ex-girlfriends and flings could probably form a whole line.”

Li Xiang observed her expression and took the opportunity to flatter Wen Yufeng. “Yeah, a guy like our Yu Ge, who’s kept himself clean, is really rare.”

This time, before Qin Qing could respond, Wen Yufeng cut in.

“Don’t just help anyone with their problems in the future.”

Qin Qing blinked her confused eyes at him. “But if someone asks…”

Wen Yufeng looked up.

“Just tell them you’re only allowed to help me.”

“—Huh?”

Qin Qing was momentarily stunned and instinctively replied, “But you don’t study.”

Wen Yufeng: “…”

Li Xiang and Zhao Zirui struggled to contain their laughter, nearly bursting at the seams.

“…”

Wen Yufeng shot a blank look at the two of them.

He continued to pull the girl along as they walked back.

“From today, they’ll study with me.”

“…………”

This time, it was the two of them who were left speechless.

Wen Yufeng did exactly what he said he would. As soon as they returned to Class 6, he brought Qin Qing to his seat.

In a self-study class with no teacher present, the atmosphere was a bit chaotic, but the moment Wen Yufeng appeared, the majority of the classroom fell silent, not daring to make a sound. And when they saw the new girl following Wen Yufeng to the back row, many curious glances turned their way.

When they reached his seat, Wen Yufeng pulled out a high stool with one hand and placed it beside the desk, while he sat down at the desk himself.

As he sat down and looked up, he noticed the little girl still staring at him with wide, puzzled eyes.

That expression made Wen Yufeng feel as if a kitten’s paw had just scratched at his heart. His gaze deepened, and a slight smile tugged at the corners of his thin lips.

“Not going to sit?”

Qin Qing blinked. “Should I sit here?”

“…” Wen Yufeng let out a low chuckle, his voice slightly hoarse. “Do you want to sit inside?”

His eyes, dark as ink, sparkled like stardust.

Whether it was his tone or his expression, Qin Qing’s cheeks heated slightly. She shot Wen Yufeng a small, hesitant glance before finally sitting down.

The desk was clean and tidy, with the closest object to her line of sight being a light gray cushion.

After some hesitation, Qin Qing spoke up, “Take out the math test paper from yesterday. I’ll go over the areas where you’re lacking.”

Although Qin Qing’s voice was low, the students in the back row had all been eavesdropping. As soon as they heard her words, several students choked on their own saliva, followed by a few instinctive, fearful glances.

Qin Qing didn’t notice this, but Wen Yufeng lifted his eyelids and lazily scanned the room.

Everyone quickly shrank back, lowering their heads.

Wen Yufeng returned his gaze to her, with a faint, lazy smile in his eyes.

“I usually don’t take test papers.”

Qin Qing: “…”

“Wait here,” she said, getting up and walking back to her seat in the front row.

As the math class representative, she had previously wondered why there were always a few extra test papers left after she counted out the exact number for the class.

Now she knew the reason.

Less than two minutes later, Qin Qing returned, her small face stern and serious.

She placed the blank test paper on Wen Yufeng’s desk.

“Only by practicing can you gauge your mastery of knowledge. You won’t improve if you don’t do any exercises.”

Wen Yufeng couldn’t help but smile at the girl’s serious expression.

He raised his lips and asked softly, “Did you learn that line from your uncle too?”

Qin Qing froze. “…How did you know?”

The girl, standing in the sunlight with her soft voice and adorable reaction, had skin so pale it seemed almost transparent. Her dark pupils held a soft light, and the slight frown of her brows only added to her beauty. Every detail of her expression made it hard for Wen Yufeng to look away.

“…”

Wen Yufeng’s gaze darkened as if it could spill ink.

His Adam’s apple bobbed slightly as he forced himself to look away.

…She was going to be the death of him.

Meanwhile, Qin Qing stood there, perplexed by Wen Yufeng’s sudden silence.

——

He really was strange. Why did he stop talking all of a sudden?

Despite her confusion, Qin Qing sat down on the high stool Wen Yufeng had set down earlier.

She spread the blank test paper out on the desk.

Carefully pressing down the edges of the paper, Qin Qing said, “The content of this test paper is very basic, covering many things we learned in our first year. Just write down your thought process for the questions, and I’ll help identify any gaps in your knowledge.”

Before Wen Yufeng could say anything, Qin Qing placed the pen she had brought with her on the desk in front of him.

Wen Yufeng’s gaze flickered as he picked up the metal pen, which had a small rabbit engraved on it.

A small pen for a small person—indeed, a perfect match.

A few minutes later.

Qin Qing stared at the test paper for a long time with a look of intense frustration, then raised her head, her expression not at all friendly.

“Did you not attend any math classes in your first year?”

“…”

Wen Yufeng didn’t answer, just smiled faintly at her.

Qin Qing’s face fell, and she slumped a little. After two seconds, she perked up again and moved the test paper closer to Wen Yufeng, seriously beginning to explain the problems and how to extract useful information from them…

She was thoroughly focused on her teaching, but the person she was teaching was somewhat distracted.

In fact, when the girl had first leaned in, Wen Yufeng’s body had instinctively stiffened for a moment.

But before he could react further, her soft, low voice was already in his ear, and her small hand, holding the rabbit-engraved pen, was gliding across the page, completely capturing his attention.

By the time she finished explaining this first type of question, Qin Qing paused for a moment and turned to him for feedback—

“We’ll go step by step, just covering a portion each day. Did you understand today’s part?”

Looking at the clear thought process on the test paper, Wen Yufeng’s gaze flickered.

“I didn’t get it.”

Qin Qing was taken aback.

The boy’s thin lips curved up as his voice dropped to a low, husky tone.

“Explain it again.”

Qin Qing was silent for two seconds and then sighed.

“Wen Yufeng, your foundation is really weak.”

Propping her chin on her hand, she thought for a moment before putting the test paper aside.

“I’ll help you go over the basics from the textbook first. Once your foundation is solid, we can use specific examples to reinforce and deepen your understanding.”

With that, Qin Qing stood up to go retrieve her textbook.

Just then, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a textbook with a cover labeled “Math” lying inside the desk.

“This one will do,” Qin Qing said, reaching for the book on her tiptoes.

“It’ll be easier to highlight important points.”

At her words, Wen Yufeng’s gaze shifted from her face to the textbook.

He raised an eyebrow.

…He didn’t recall ever covering his math book.

Before he could think further, Qin Qing had already grabbed the book.

——

But the thickness of it seemed a bit off.

Qin Qing didn’t have time to dwell on that thought as she flipped open the “math book.”

The first thing she saw was a nearly naked, voluptuous woman with fair skin staring back at her provocatively.

Qin Qing froze, her pretty almond-shaped eyes widening in shock.

A few seconds later, a blush started to creep up her fair neck, spreading until her delicate earlobes were tinged with pink. Her cheeks were flushed like they had been dusted with rouge, glowing a soft red beneath her pale skin.

“…Wen Yufeng!”

But the more flustered she was, the softer her voice became, sounding as weak as a mosquito’s buzz.

Despite the quietness of her voice, it was enough to catch the attention of the students in the back row, who turned around curiously.

At that moment, Qin Qing was too preoccupied to care. Her bright, clear eyes seemed to hold a bit of moisture, making her look innocent yet somehow stirring.

After several seconds, she lifted her small face, her expression a mix of embarrassment, anger, and frustration, as she shot a glare at the still-unaware Wen Yufeng.

Her small hands clenched the magazine tightly.

“What… what is this?”

Her voice trembled slightly, and her tightly drawn expression was completely betrayed by the flush on her cheeks.

Qin Qing was standing by the desk, and from Wen Yufeng’s angle, all he could see was the tightly wrapped “math book” cover.

The casual smile on his lips faltered as he looked up in confusion.

“What’s wrong?”

He reached out to take the book from her.

“…”

With a loud “thud,” the book was dropped onto the desk, and the girl turned and ran away.

Wen Yufeng blinked and then looked down.

On the open pages of the book, a naked woman was posing seductively, smiling provocatively.

“…Shit.”
