He is not s*upid, but he's not very intelligent either. He's past life experience only helps with powers and monsters, but doesn't help in his normal judgement. And he also seems to really like to slap people. The two main heroines/harem members can be summarized into "a Japanese young lady who isn't racist and is interested in the MC because he's strong" and "a nationalistic Korean girl who likes to speak in ancient Korean". The other side characters felt one dimensional, and I feel like they are just there to make the novel not seem empty. Sometimes the characters even act in ways that does not make sense or just simply felt forced.A lot of the earlier chapters are used to set the world building and characters, but even after the earlier chapters, nothing interesting seems to be happening at all. The plot is less focused on hunters and gates and mainly focused on racism and discrimination. But the thing is, the racism and discrimination stuffs that happened in the novel felt weak, as the MC often got saved before he got into the real trouble. And there does not seem to be much of an overarching plot. This is a pretty good novel to read if you want to learn some Korean history that happened in the Japanese Colonial Era, except with some monsters and magical elements added in.Quote: User: AvidRottenWaterReader; Status: 5; Rating: --; Likes: 2More of an already rest the rest and I'm bored read. Dunegons and shit, you know the drill. However, it has constant jap bad, I'm KOREANNNN shit. Like, almost every chapter, very annoying and adds nothing to the story. Might be fine if it's your first rodeo, just gets tiresome reading it across several different series. All other reviews either don't have rating or are 5-stars
peak of "synopsis that doesnt explain the novel"
Any idea if it's good even any good??? If so pls tell us your reviews after reading tho I predict its probably part of the 99.5% of trash novels idk man
It's a interesting combination of alt history plus the hunter genre, but ultimately it's kinda boring. It's not a surprise that the Translator dropped the novel, still weird that they grabbed the novel only after the novel was dropped by the translator
Weird choice to grab a novel that's been dropped by the translator.
I woke up during the Japanese Colonial Era.What's up with cover? I don't think girls wore sailor moon dress to school during that period. Heck i don't think they even went school. Also my fellow readers would have put more effort to open the web page of this novel than the author of the novel put in his description of it.
I woke up during the Japanese Colonial EraSynopsis are getting shorter and shorter.Even Japanese novel names are bigger than these summary Is this new trend or what?
