Chapter 885 80: Choice_3

[Strange will.]

[Weird will.]

[Vast will.]

[Priority eradication, commence execution.]

Lorenzo vaguely heard something, as if a group of people were whispering, their voices indifferent like machines.

Before he could think further, a sharp whistle of wind swept up, and silver Spiral Long Nails brutally descended, as the Silencer wielded its wings and attacked Lorenzo.

"Don't get in the way!"

Feeling restless, Lorenzo turned it into anger and swung the Nail Sword.

The sturdy body shattered under Lorenzo's slash, and he almost severed its entire wing, slightly affecting the Silencer's movement, slowing it down. Then countless red lines pierced from the flesh, intertwining to stitch and heal the broken wound.

This scene was firmly etched in Lorenzo's eyes; it was so similar to Authority·Yanar, stirring an uneasy conjecture in his heart.

More blades fell, warriors swarmed and hacked the Silencer to death, but the swinging wings wielded Iron Feather, slicing through the warriors' flesh, shredding them into fragments.

Thunderous roaring ensued, more spherical flashes ignited, annihilating and engulfing the surrounding buildings, as new Silencers appeared in sight.

Did they really die?

Lorenzo witnessed all this, questioning himself whether they were truly dead or merely "coming back" again.

Apart from the clang of swords and the sound of flowing blood, there was no other sound on the battlefield—no screams, no wails, not even roars.

This was a cold war, like a silent hell, dying and resurrecting, engaged in an endless cycle.

Lorenzo took one last look at the chaotic battlefield in the rear, reminding him of the Gate of Celestial Kingdom at Saint Nalos Cathedral, upon which similar scenes were carved, angels descending from heaven, bringing divine punishment and fire.

"Set sail!"

Hebdo dashed into Silverfish, shouting at Nikola, who had been ready and pushed the lever.

The diluted Lacquered Antimony released light and heat within the combustion chamber, and Silverfish shot out instantly like lightning, with most of its body leaving the water, breaking through the waves.

In the narrow cabin, only then did everyone breathe a sigh of relief, Hebdo gasping heavily, Red Falcon dazed and drooling, Eve wiping her moist eyes—just for a moment she really thought they were going to die here.

Erin looked at the ceiling of the cabin, where a Nail Sword had pierced through, Lorenzo crouched on top, using it to stabilize himself to avoid being thrown off, while his other hand held up Winchester, ready against any potential pursuers.

The crisis wasn't over yet, approaching ships were accelerating their convergence, judging by their moving turrets, they intended to sink Silverfish.

No way expecting obstacles even so far from shore, Nikola must have seen them too, as Silverfish continued accelerating, the ship shaking violently as if it would dismantle and collapse the next second.

Suddenly, the sky lit up.

One firelight after another streaked across the sky, landing in the path of the ships, hindering their convergence, the fire's aftermath even hitting the ships, heating steel to red, fragments sinking to the seabed.

Lorenzo remembered this firelight, something he would never forget in his life.

"Our ships have crossed the open sea, entering Gaulunaro's waters."

Bola recognized this firelight, it was Ascalon, they had also installed such giant cannons on their ships.

"No way, are they going to start a war?"

Bola was about to lose it, this was an ominous sign, such reckless actions were undeniably provocation—minorly a military conflict, majorly potentially the Second Radiant War.

"The war already started, Bola; Ingwig, Gaulunaro, Viking nations—the war began long ago."

Hebdo said with a heavy tone, the firelight crossing the sky also illuminated his face, everyone's face, silent faces.

Escaping the encirclement, Silverfish slowed down, Lorenzo gradually stood up, looking quite exhausted, his gaze cast toward the burning shore.
