After dinner, it was already dark.

Xu Xiangbei was dead drunk, slumped on the table, snoring away. The Gu Family members were also drunk, scattered around and unconscious.

"Xiangyi, there are quite a few people here today, and we don’t have enough rooms. Let Mr. Xu sleep in your room."

Gu Mingchun said sternly, "If you’re unwilling, then let Mr. Xu sleep in my room, and I’ll take the sofa."

"Fine, whatever you say. I’ll take him upstairs now."

Gu Xiangyi was shaking with anger, biting her lip, feeling quite wronged.

In the adjoining room on the third floor, after settling Gu Xinyan, Gu Xiangyi was drenched in fragrant sweat from fatigue.

"Sis, do you know what kind of background Xu Xiangbei has? To have Liu Hongan, such a big shot, back him up."

Gu Xinyan quietly said.

Gu Xiangyi gave a sweet smile and said, "I asked Liu Hongan’s assistant. Xu Xiangbei became his benefactor because he cured Elder Liu’s illness."

"I see."

Gu Xinyan nodded thoughtfully and suddenly frowned, "Sis, don’t you think Xu Xiangbei is strange? Usually, he treasures money as life itself and doesn’t even spare a few bucks for breakfast. Why would he forgo billions in shares today and transfer them all to you? Could he truly have feelings for you and plans to marry you?"

Gu Xiangyi blushed with embarrassment, pouting, "Hmph, that guy never takes anything seriously, goes weak at the knees at the sight of a pretty girl. I don’t believe he’d commit to just me."

"Sis, are you saying if he wanted to marry you, you’d agree?"

Gu Xinyan raised an eyebrow, teasing with a laugh. Normally cool and aloof, she only livened up when with her sister.

"Little brat, since when did you become so nosy?"

Gu Xiangyi pretended to be angry, reaching out to tickle her, making Gu Xinyan giggle nonstop, pleading for mercy.

"I’m going to take a bath."

Gu Xiangyi, a bit exhausted after some play, headed to the bathroom.

Xu Xiangbei, who had been asleep for a while, felt the urge to pee and drowsily opened his eyes, heading for the restroom.

As he passed the neighboring room, Gu Xinyan saw him and called out, "Xu Xiangbei, come here."

"Hmm?"

Xu Xiangbei grinned and swayed over to Gu Xinyan’s bed, and, upon seeing the little beauty clad only in a camisole and hot pants, revealing her lovely figure, swallowed hard, "Fairy sister, what do you want from me? Are you feeling empty, lonely, and cold, wanting to have a heart-to-heart?"

In the misty bathroom beside him, Gu Xiangyi was showering, completely unaware of Xu Xiangbei’s sudden intrusion.
