In the car, Lu Jinxuan turned on his phone. Immediately, numerous text message notifications popped up, all from missed calls, and all from Yu Sangwan.

"Tch, little girl... Missing me already?" Lu Jinxuan chuckled softly, his lips curling with warmth. He put on his headphones and dialed Yu Sangwan’s number. But this time, her phone was turned off.

Lu Jinxuan frowned, thinking perhaps her phone had run out of battery. He switched numbers and dialed the landline at their residence. Gong Xueyan thought she had lowered herself enough, yet she received such accusations from Lu Jinxuan. Her blood boiled instantly, "Lu Jinxuan, what kind of attitude is this? You’re treating me like this for a little lover? I’m supposed to be your fiancée!"
