Chapter 250 - 202: Insect People Civil War, the God of Truth’s Revival is Imminent
The war did not end with the fall of the four Insect Deities.
Instead, it continued in a different form.
Three days after the Insect Deities fell, Lince sent word that he had no intention of directly governing the Insectoid World, leaving the Blue Star Alliance to make its own decision.
On the fourth day, the Blue Star Alliance quickly came to a decision.
The Human Alliance accepted the Taven Imperial Clan’s request for vassalage, but also demanded they prove their sincerity.
And so...
On the fifth day in the real world, the Taven Imperial Clan took action.
First, a terrifying civil war broke out in the Imperial Capital of the Taven Empire.
Led by the Imperial Clan, thirty-six clans began to hunt down and exterminate the lineages of the Four Gods and their vassal Insect People groups.
They also proclaimed the many crimes of the Four Gods.
The Four Gods had conspired to persecute the God of Taven, and had later even imprisoned the Imperial Clan to use them as puppets to establish a unified regime, among other things.
In short, this became their rallying cry.
After a global broadcast akin to a televised address, the entirety of Green Saturn plunged into chaos.
The Insect People clans loyal to the Imperial Clan eagerly answered the Spider-Man Emperor’s call, beginning to hunt down all dissenters and the die-hard loyalists of the fallen Four Gods.
Thus, a massive civil war erupted.
And in the midst of this civil war, Lince opportunely opened a Star Gate.
And so, the Blue Star Alliance eagerly dispatched its army into the Green Earth Satellite World.
At the same time, the over forty thousand Players who had been standing by in the real world finally began to enter Green Saturn and start on their path to earning points.
In any case...
The ensuing war was no longer Lince’s concern.
He would only give it some follow-up attention. As for how the war actually went, that would all depend on the level of cooperation between the Players, the Human Alliance Army, and the Taven Imperial Clan.
Additionally, when the time was right, Lince would of course let his own Contracted Magic Pets join the fray.
For now, however, that wasn’t necessary.
With help from the Human Alliance’s digital warfare, cooperation from the Taven Imperial Clan’s many Saint Tier Powerhouses, and even the Players who were constantly growing stronger through the war, Lince was at a loss. ’Honestly, how could they possibly lose this battle for Green Saturn?’
And so...
At this point, Lince’s war in the real world was more or less over.
By this time, the third wave of Players—those not participating in the Green Saturn campaign—had already completed three game rounds in the other two worlds.
At this stage.
A game session occurred every seven days, with each session lasting three days, and each simulation spanning only one hundred days.
In other words, while a month had passed in the real world, just under a year had gone by on the Oakland and Karte Continents.
A year wasn’t a very long time.
At least, with this one-year buffer, York, aided by a vast number of Demon Beasts, had finally managed to bring order to the situation on the Karte Continent.
Now, with the help of the Demon Beasts and the several hundred thousand indigenous humans from the overseas Coral Island who had preserved their cultural heritage, the entirety of Karte had been more or less completely stabilized.
And after a final count, the number of remaining native humans was not insignificant.
There were still slightly over two hundred million of them.
But the condition of these two-hundred-million-plus humans was, for the most part, terrible.
After all, they had been slaves. Their poor physical condition was a secondary concern; the primary issue was the time required for education to bridge the cultural divide.
Therefore, the Smith family from the Swamp Territory had moved entirely into the Karte World.
York desperately needed the manpower.
Whether it was settling the former slaves, educating them, or even organizing personnel to guide all the natives into the Underground Cities to begin a new era—all of it required a massive amount of manpower.
And during this period, the Truth Church finally entered its golden age.
Over two hundred million humans without faith!!!
What was this?
This was a vital harvesting ground for reviving their Deity.
Thus, led by a group of Bishops, the three hundred-plus Missionaries originally from the Swamp Territory immediately embarked on a fervent journey of edification and missionary work.
In just one year...
The Truth Church had already achieved considerable results in this world.
At the very least, tens of millions had been enlightened by the Truth and had come to gratefully believe in the God of Truth and Knowledge.
Of course, to maintain reverence for Lince, the Dragon God...
The Truth Church also took the opportunity to publicize his importance and power as the dawn of civilization in this world.
As a result, faith in the Dragon God also spread even more widely throughout this world.
At the same time, there was a side effect.
With the Church’s help, the indigenous humans in the relatively well-preserved cities abandoned by the Giant Demons were actively reshaping their urban structures and living environments.
The Church also played a significant role in reclaiming land and securing the necessities of life.
As for the Demon Beasts.
Most of them returned to the Demon Beast Forest in the Oakland World after the victory.
However, at least thirty percent of the Demon Beasts were granted territory in the Karte World.
In the Western Realm of the Karte Continent, a relatively fertile region, Lince partitioned and bestowed upon them nearly ten million square kilometers of land.
This would also serve as their primary habitat.
Meanwhile, the High Tier and Saint Tier Magical Beasts patrolled the various regions, overseeing the Underground Cities that were steadily being revived.
In short, after almost a year, a preliminary sense of order had generally been established across the Karte Continent.
However, for the ’Divine Son’ who seemingly possessed an entire world...
York himself had only recently broken through to Tier Six.
To possess an entire world with only the strength of a Tier Six.
This would be considered extremely strange in any world.
However, while York still had a long way to go in terms of strength, his personal safety was no longer a concern.
To say nothing of anything else, York was now accompanied at all times by an old man and a lady in red.
