Sigh. Chinese web novel authors seem so fond of making MCs neglect female characters like this. While I do hope that the MC does get his comeuppance, with the type of novel this is and with how most web novels go, this either gets ignored or is resolved in a comedic fashion. Maybe a combination of both?
Also, the new functions seem meh for now. God’s Lock seems overpriced, especially when it’s limited to 10 times, while Flash seems decent and a bit more reasonably priced. Hopefully, he gets more powerful options later on.
