Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed

Chapter 259: Ancient Hybrid Cobras

Chapter 259: Ancient Hybrid Cobras

[Two Hours Later.]

The violent, swirling vortex of atmospheric energy finally began to slow. Mirabella stopped absorbing the energy, her eyes snapping open. In just one hour of active cultivation utilizing the Sun Family Absorption Technique, she had skyrocketed to Lv395. The sheer volume of raw power she had inhaled was staggering, but due to her deep, soul-bound connection with the Golden Palace, she sensed a subtle but alarming shift in the environment—the once suffocatingly dense spiritual energy was visibly getting thinner, the very fabric of the Fire Zone starving.

"If I continue, I would absorb the whole spirit energy here." She finally stood up, breaking her cross-legged meditative posture. The realization of her new skill’s terrifying efficiency dawned on her. It was a weapon of mass environmental destruction.

"With my experience, draining the whole energy will be very bad... Maybe there is a way to fill it up again." She muttered to herself, stretching her limbs. Her bones cracked with newly refined strength.

BOOOOM!!!!

The ground beneath her violently trembled.

"Finally."

She turned her head to the towering, obsidian volcano in the distance. The peak, previously dormant, was now glowing with an unstable, blinding incandescence.

"Finally." She repeated, her blue eyes locking onto the erupting crater.

BOOOOM!!!!!

The eruption wasn’t just magma; it was the violent shattering of a primordial shell. Five huge claws, each as big as a heavy-duty oil tanker, violently grabbed the top rim of the volcano, shattering the reinforced volcanic rock as if it were brittle glass. Then, another massive claw clamped down. Mirabella and Adira watched calmly from their safe zone as shimmering, impossibly dense red scales came into view, followed by two huge Cobras’ heads rising from the molten depths.

The Beast was a monstrous anomaly of evolution, its four glowing red eyes instantly fixing on Mirabella with predatory malice.

GRAAAAAAAA!!!

The two heads pulled back and let out a synchronized, earth-shattering roar, a sonic boom of pure, unadulterated draconic might which reverberated all over the Fire Zone, causing the lakes of lava to ripple violently.

"Hey!! Get down here and great your Master!" Mirabella ordered, her voice cutting through the deafening roar with absolute authority, calmly folding her arms across her chest.

’Is this a snake or a dragon? Or is it a hybrid?’ She thought in confusion, analyzing its bizarre anatomy. It possessed the lethal hoods of a king cobra but the muscular structure of a dragon.

"Master?!!"

The snake-dragon spoke, its dual voices layered in a harsh, guttural frequency, stunning her. A newly hatched beast speaking the common tongue immediately signified a terrifyingly high base intellect and a supreme bloodline. She quickly brought out the system screen, her eyes scanning the holographic blue data that materialized before her:

Mirabella’s breath hitched slightly at the zeros. One hundred million health points. Ten million attack damage. This wasn’t just a pet; this was a walking calamity capable of erasing entire cities on the outside world.

"Oh, this small egg gained some strength and thinks it can disobey its Master, aren’t you so arrogant." She asked, tilting her head and looking up at the two-headed hybrid Cobra with a mocking smirk.

"I am an ancient beast! How dare--"

"--Get down here." Mirabella ordered, cutting it off instantly, her brilliant blue eyes turning cold and deadly. The air around her temperature dropped, a stark contrast to the burning realm.

Mirabella’s cold command physically stunned the Beast. The sheer, condensed weight of her killing intent, bolstered by her newly maxed Mental Overlord passive, made the creature hesitate. It stared at her in shock from the volcano’s peak.

’Was I scared because of her aura? No, I am an ancient beast! How can I submit to a mere human!’ It thought, its innate pride rebelling against the psychic suppression. It shot out from the volcano, a geyser of lava trailing behind it, as two massive, leathery wings burst out from its back, eclipsing the ashen sky.

’Huh? Ok then, this two-headed snake is both a Cobra and a dragon. Four legs and wings, there is no other explanation.’ Mirabella thought, instantly categorizing its combat mechanics. She blinked, remaining perfectly still, watching the gigantic snake aggressively opening its jaws wide, embers pooling in its throat.

"Master--" Adira panicked, zipping forward to summon a barrier.

"--Leave this slave to me, Adira." Mirabella cut Adira off, her voice devoid of fear, and casually started walking towards the descending Cobra.

"I am not a slave! Fire breath!!!"

The massive Cobra unleashed its fury. It sent out tidal waves of concentrated, god-tier flames from both its mouths directly towards Mirabella. The inferno instantly vaporized the surrounding rocks and smashed directly into her small frame, completely swallowing her in a localized sun.

’Hehehe.... Meeting my flames head-on, you must be stup---’

The Cobras’ four eyes widened in absolute, paralytic shock, watching as the flames parted. Mirabella calmly walked out of the roaring inferno. Not a single strand of her hair was singed; not even her clothes were burnt.

’This stupid thing doesn’t know I am immune to flames... Not to mention he is in my golden palace, and is still acting arrogant.’ She thought, stepping out of the smoke like an untouchable deity. Without breaking her stride, she stretched her hand towards the hovering Cobra and mercilessly activated her trump card: Blood Sucker.

BAM!!!

An invisible, kinetic force of pure theft violently smashed into the Cobra. The beast convulsed mid-air as a staggering fifty million health points were violently ripped from its biology in a microsecond, instantly transferring to Mirabella’s own reserves.

"This?" The Cobra gagged, its internal organs rupturing from the sudden vacuum of vitality, and it violently vomited a mouthful of burning draconic blood, which slashed some distance away from Mirabella, hissing as it melted the ground.

"Still not getting down?" Mirabella didn’t give it a second to recover. Her eyes gleamed with ruthless calculation as she activated the Sun Family Absorption Technique.

’I don’t plan to kill you, but cutting of half of your powers and health will show you your place.’

The Dragon froze again, its massive wings locking up mid-flap as exactly fifty million points of its spirit energy violently vanished. The sheer energy was siphoned through the air, entering Mirabella’s core in a blinding rush of power.

"You?!" It stared at Mirabella in pure, unadulterated terror. The creature realized it wasn’t fighting a human; it was fighting a cosmic parasite that could casually dismantle its god-tier stats with a mere thought.

"I hate repeating myself, if you don’t get down here in three breath, I will kill you right now... Don’t think because you are an Ancient Beast’s offspring, you can be arrogant before me." She said, her voice dropping to a lethal, quiet promise. She slowly raised a single finger and started counting:

"One."

BOOOM!!

The massive Cobra didn’t wait for two. It instantly plummeted from the sky and landed violently before her, its colossal weight shaking the realm. Its magnificent wings folded tightly against its scaled body, and both its massive heads bowed in absolute, crushing terror, pressing into the dirt.

"I apologize for my foolishness Master!! This slave won’t dare challenge your authority again... If Master wishes, I can also form a bond with you, if I try to go against Master, I will get a backlash, and will suffer greatly." It quickly said, the words spilling out in a desperate rush. Its 100-meter-long body was visibly trembling in fear under her shadow.

Mirabella stared at the gigantic, groveling hybrid Cobras, her expression unreadable for a long moment before she finally nodded her head: "It seems you’re smarter than I thought."

’This?! Who won’t be... You directly siphoned both my spirit energy and health without me even sensing it... Going against such a human is stupidity.’ The beast’s internal thoughts echoed with a mix of awe and trauma.

At that exact moment, a brilliant, golden light erupted from Mirabella’s body, the massive influx of stolen spirit energy finally tipping the scale.

{Congratulations, Host reached Lv400.}

’Huh?’
