Chapter 118 - 116: Magic Mirror, Diviniation spell series.

Chapter 118 - 116: Magic Mirror, Diviniation spell series.

Lioro and Cid stood side by side, looking curiously at the ancient mirror before them.

"So it's like the magic mirror from the fairy tale? What was it, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves?"

"I don't remember; it's been too long since I saw it."

"Hmm..."

Lioro touched his chin and silently examined the magic mirror. Being a divine smith, it wasn't hard for him to understand its workings.

'It's enchanted to host spells, and has a small artificial magic pool...'

While Lioro was thinking, the blurry mirror changed and a mask suddenly appeared on it. The masked face looked at Lioro, then at Cid, before smiling and saying:

"Hello, two distinguished gentlemen."

"I am the all-knowing magic mirror, now at your service."

"If you're all-knowing, then tell me my future," Cid said in a plain voice while pointing at himself.

The magic mirror coughed awkwardly before saying:

"...I meant I know everything about the current moment, not the future."

"Then tell me where I am from," Cid asked without missing a beat.

"Yes! Of course! Just give me a moment..."

The mask inside the magic mirror flickered as a small magic fluctuation spread out.

As the magic mirror was using its power, a screen popped up in front of Lioro.

[Tier 5 magic 'Divination' detected... class not found...]

[Genius (Divinator) has taken effect. Would you like to learn it?]

Lioro learned the spell, and new knowledge filled his mind.

Divination worked like an information spell; by spending magic power, he could get answers to some very unconventional questions.

Lioro froze for a moment, then silently used the spell in his mind.

'What color underwear is Elsa wearing?'

The answer appeared in his mind.

[Blue.]

At the same time, a blurry image of a beautiful, mature body in blue-colored underwear appeared in his mind before disappearing.

'Damn, what powerful magic!'

'And holy shit, it's big! The numbers weren't lying!'

Lioro exclaimed excitedly in his mind before activating it again and again. While he was having fun, the masked face appeared back in the magic mirror and said in confusion:

"You, sir... are not from this world."

"Hey look, he figured it out!" Cid said while nudging the dazed Lioro.

'What's wrong with him?' Cid thought while looking at the silent Lioro.

"Hey, did you hear what the mirror sai—"

"Shut up and don't disturb me," Lioro brushed him off before once again falling into a daze.

Cid gave him a look before turning back to the mirror and asking:

"Why were you in the ocean? What happened to your previous owner?"

"My previous owner met an unfortunate end... After her death, the castle was looted by some thieves. I was sold, then somehow ended up on a merchant's ship which broke down due to a storm, and I ended up at the bottom of the sea."

"How long ago was this?"

"A hundred and sixty-seven years, sir."

"You must know about magic, right? Since you are all-knowing?"

"This..."

As the magic mirror was making a difficult face, Lioro suddenly interjected.

"He can't help you learn magic."

To be precise, the Divination spell doesn't work like that. It is a short information spell, meaning it can't help you learn a spell or magic which consists of a lot of information. Also, a Tier 5 Divination spell can only show things happening in the current time; it can't look into the past nor the future. It is also limited by range due to its lower tier.

Though, it was an upgradeable spell.

[Tier 5 magic 'Divination' -> Tier 6 magic 'Mass Divination']

[Tier 6 magic 'Mass Divination' -> Tier 7 magic 'Grand Divination']

[Tier 7 magic 'Grand Divination' -> Tier 8 magic 'Minor Truth']

[Tier 8 magic 'Minor Truth' -> Tier 9 magic 'Truth']

Tier 9 was its limit; there was no Tier 10 Divination spell.

'Tier 9 magic: Truth.'

'Show me my future.'

The spell activated as his magic power decreased.

A magical hazy cloud rushed out from the void and surrounded Lioro's head, startling Cid and the magic mirror.

Inside the magic cloud of Truth, several images were starting to condense in front of him.

But before they could take shape, the ring on his hand glowed, and the images along with the magic cloud were instantly destroyed.

'My Destiny Immunity is working fine.'

Lioro nodded, then activated the spell again.

'Show me Cid's future.'

The magic cloud appeared once again and enveloped his head. Inside the magic cloud, several images passed before his eyes.

In one image, he saw Cid standing silently in the forest; in the next, he was wandering in some kingdom; in the third, he had taken over the underworld of the kingdom and started his journey as the Eminence...

Lioro looked at the images with interest and suddenly understood something.

'This is Cid's future in this world if I don't interfere with him from now on.'

Due to his ring, neither he nor anything related to him can be divined.

Meaning anyone who tries to see the future of Cid will only see the future where he, Lioro, doesn't exist.

'The power of an Epic class truly is divine...'

Lioro narrowed his eyes, then canceled the spell.

As long as he was here, doing any future divination was meaningless.

Also, divination magic had a world constraint, meaning when he was in the Disney world, he could only use divination for the Disney world and not the Danmachi world, and vice versa.

To use divination for the Danmachi world, he would have to go there first.

After he ended the spell, Cid asked him almost instantly:

"Hey, can I take this mirror?"

"Go ahead," Lioro easily agreed.

"Thanks."

Cid extended his slime suit and enveloped the confused mirror, taking it away.

"So, what now?"

"You go and tell the Familia members to get ready to hunt a witch. I'll go to Kristoff and Anna and tell them about the kingdom."

"Okay, then I'll go."

Cid took a step forward and instantly turned into a shadow, disappearing from sight. Lioro used teleportation to jump back into his room. As soon as he arrived, his gaze landed on the figure sitting on the bed.

Elsa!

After seeing her, Lioro almost instinctively turned his head away.

"Lioro, you're back."

Elsa, on the other hand, quickly got up and walked up to him with a smile. But when she saw him looking away from her, she asked in concern:

"What's the matter?"

"It's nothing..."

Those several hot images just kept passing through his mind for some reason. Damn, that was a nice chest!

"Lioro?"

Seeing him still not looking at her, Elsa raised her hand and touched his face, then slowly turned it towards her. And as she did, she saw the change.

Unlike the usual Lioro, who would always look her in the eye, this time for some reason... his eyes were fixed on her chest. Feeling his blatant gaze, her ears quickly turned red.

Just as she was wondering why things had changed so suddenly, a hesitant voice reached her ears.

"Hey Elsa... um, would you mind... showing me your boobs?"
