From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 473: To the Otherworld, To Where We Are Needed

Chapter 473: To the Otherworld, To Where We Are Needed

As the archangel named Mikhail blazed in the skies above all of Russia, Christian clergy across the globe learned of the event.

They also learned of the Patriarch's ruthless and cold-hearted nature, realizing that under his command, over twenty thousand clergy members were instantly obliterated!

More importantly, they learned of the invitation from the Vatican.

It turned out that in another world, there was another Europe. Much like their own, it belonged to a parallel world, yet the Lord's Radiance had never fallen upon it.

None of them mentioned the potential benefits of traveling to that world, nor did anyone intend to. They all knew that those who sought personal gain would never pass the selection process.

They simply told the faithful that the other world was facing severe hardships and needed aid. Only in this way could the truly selfless be chosen!

And so, those who possessed genuine, boundless love began to make their move.

If there was one thing this world never lacked, it was people willing to sacrifice everything for faith and love. The Church, of course, was no exception.

America, Alaska.

Inside a snow-bound church, a middle-aged man with resolute features gently locked the doors to the prayer room.An old man stood before him, still trying to persuade him. "Damon, if you leave, our community will be left without a priest..."

Damon offered a gentle smile. "Do not worry. I have already submitted a request to the Diocese. After I leave, they will dispatch a new priest here. When that time comes, please pass the keys on to him for me, alright?"

He pressed the keys into the old man's hand, hoisted his backpack onto his shoulders, and walked out into the heavy snowfall.

Clenching the keys, the old man stared at his receding figure in confusion. "You did not even participate when The Church was selecting Disciplinarians. Why must you go this time?"

Damon's voice drifted back, sounding faint and distant through the snow. "Because before, I felt our community was pure and did not need the intervention of Disciplinarians. But this time, someone out there needs help!"

"The Lord tells us that when someone is in need, it is our duty to aid them!"

His figure vanished into the blizzard, but his image was forever etched into the old man's heart.

Brazil, Sao Paulo.

"Bishop Glen, our lands of faith are currently being encroached upon by the Maya. Why are you choosing not to stay and help us, but instead going to aid some irrelevant world?"

Inside the grand cathedral of Sao Paulo, the elderly bishop looked deeply resigned upon hearing the young priest's question.

"Are we under any true threat here?" Bishop Glen asked in return.

The young priest shook his head. "Of course not. His Holiness Jesus has an agreement with their gods. Our struggle for Divine Faith is limited to fair competition!"

"Then there you have it. I am old now. In this modern era of competition, I have little left to offer. It would be far better for me to travel to that world and put my remaining use to work!"

Bishop Glen's expression remained exceptionally calm. "You are still young. You have never experienced War, but I have. I know exactly how terrifying and agonizing it is..."

"Our world will likely see few wars from now on. But that world is still steeped in the ignorance, apathy, and endless warfare of the Middle Ages. I hope I can help them!"

The elderly bishop's eyes were practically shining. That brilliant, intense light left the young priest feeling slightly helpless. "We live in an era of peace, my child! Even though things are often unsatisfactory, compared to the horrors of war, it is truly peaceful!"

"Since the Lord's messenger has sought us out, we must go and aid them!"

The old man climbed into a taxi headed for the airport, leaving behind a crowd of clergy and even more believers who gazed after him in silent reverence.

Spain, Madrid.

"Gwynneth, you are just a Nun. You have absolutely no obligation to go!"

Looking at the girl's youthful face, the elderly Mother Superior's heart ached. "You are a good child, and you deserve a better Life. You have only just recovered from your illness; please, do not be in such a rush to throw yourself into danger!"

"I know, Mother Superior!" Gwynneth smiled with bright, radiant cheerfulness. "I am an Orphan. You and The Church took me in, and so I want to repay your kindness!"

"Our parish here does not need my help, so I will just go help somewhere else. Isn't that perfectly fine?"

"But... that world is a terrifying place! I heard the Black Death is ravaging it!" The old nun felt a sharp pang of distress. "Not long ago, you collapsed from exhaustion while caring for the wounded. Why must you push yourself so hard?"

"I am not pushing myself, Mother Superior!" The girl beamed with genuine joy. "I am doing something that makes me happy, and that is wonderful in itself!"

"I am helping others, just as you all helped me! That world is trapped in the Middle Ages. They certainly lack modern medical knowledge, so I will be able to do so much for them!"

As the girl turned away, her silhouette appeared remarkably tall and remarkably pure.

She was practicing the very ideals that every Devout Person should, striving with all her heart to fulfill her purpose.

"Go to the Otherworld, go to where we are needed! Help everyone who is in need!" These words, proclaimed by Pope Mario, now had countless practitioners all over the world!

The departing figures of these individuals were captured by the local Media, forming a unique historical record and a profound testament to their faith.

Everyone knew that the world they were heading toward was overrun with Demons and Cultists—a true Realm of dark, unceasing War!

Though the world could be apathetic and filled with Darkness, the voluntary departure and sacrifice of these individuals marked the exact moment When the Stars of Humanity Bloom!

...

When Alvin crossed over from the neighboring world, this was the exact scene he witnessed. "Crown, you stirred up such massive Turmoil. Was it simply to make them aware of the Otherworlds and the boundless reach of Christianity?"

He could feel the endless Wish Power flowing through the air. He could also sense a unique sensation brought about by these surging currents—a clear sign that fresh Wish Power had been violently stimulated once more.

The Population of this planet was simply too massive. With such staggering numbers, every time they thought the Wish Power had been drained dry, they inevitably discovered brand new reserves waiting to be harvested.

However, this alone was not enough of a reason for Bai Yang to incite such colossal Turmoil again. It was neither warranted nor necessary—unless the Crown, this Creator God, had another scheme in motion.

"The most crucial aspect of this matter was never about harvesting Wish Power, nor was it just about letting the world know. It is about shaping the stage for the future!" Bai Yang said softly.

His eyes reflected the unimaginably vast torrent of information flowing across the world, along with something even more colossal that emerged alongside it: the Projection of World Consciousness!

"Once the people of the world know, then the world itself knows. And when the world knows, this concept can transition from illusion into reality, from nothingness into existence!"

Bai Yang clapped his hands, and the world before his eyes transformed into a streak of flowing light. "And this time, I will use this event to engrave the Knowledge of the Ten-thousand Worlds into the memories of every living soul!"

Previously, he had utilized the unique cognitive nature of the World Will to mold the World Tree and the Nine Realms. Relying on this same perception, he had raised the curtain on the grand drama of Transcendent deities.

Realization finally dawned on Alvin. "Right! Before this, the knowledge of the Ten-thousand Worlds and All Worlds only circulated among Earth's leadership. They had absolutely no intention of sharing it with the masses below!"

In truth, information regarding All Worlds had been circulating for quite some time, but it had remained strictly contained within the upper echelons of various nations. As for the general public, practically zero useful details had leaked out.

Naturally, this left Bai Yang heavily dissatisfied. If the information could not spread, if there was no widespread awareness, how was he supposed to complete his plans?

Therefore, this current situation was merely a convenient opportunity.

After today, the entire globe would know that their world was not the only one. The Endless Worlds under God's domain truly existed.

With such a specific premise established, it would inevitably enact a Subtle Transformation upon the World Will, slowly bringing those worlds into actual existence.

This would save Bai Yang an immense amount of time. Those future worlds would eventually transition from complete fiction into solid reality.

"I understand now, Crown. The shaping of these worlds is also a part of your plan!" Alvin grasped the concept instantly. "I will have The Core record this immediately."

"Furthermore, this expedition serves as an excellent probe and experiment. Humanity always possesses Ambition, and their Ambition tends to expand endlessly under such circumstances!"

Gazing at the world before him, Bai Yang spoke with a light, breezy expression, "This world will soon be too small for them to mess around in. Once they gain the experience of venturing outward, they will undoubtedly want to venture out again!"

This, too, was an integral component of his grand expedition plan.

If the people of Earth truly achieved universal Transcendence, they would probably tear the planet apart. Thus, he needed to find them an outlet.

Tuatha Dé Danann's New World from before served this purpose, and naturally, the current Middle Ages world did the same. After all, this planet still housed nearly a hundred billion Souls—all of which were future resources. Bai Yang had never once intended to give them up.

"As long as I have time... Just give me a bit more time, and I will conquer the Dylan Continent in a single stroke!"

A rare gleam of Fanaticism flashed through Bai Yang's eyes. It was the exact same Fanaticism he had harbored when he first arrived in this world—the burning intensity of a man utterly alone, yet perfectly capable of scheming against the entire world to hoist himself to the absolute pinnacle!

"And then, I will finally be able to uncover the true Mystery surrounding the Creator God..."
