From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 446: Exchange Students: We Are Tired of Saying We Are Envious

Chapter 446: Exchange Students: We Are Tired of Saying We Are Envious

The gods from the Dylan Continent present here were naturally still those same three deities, the trio who were currently working as laborers in the world of the American Pantheon.

They received an invitation from Guatmus, descending from the stratosphere in the sky to arrive at this increasingly prosperous land.

The three of them still had not changed much on the outside, but the reverence they held in their hearts for this world was growing day by day.

After all, they had indeed learned a tremendous amount while organizing the laws of the world. For deities, this was an almost unimaginably rare experience.

This experience would allow them to avoid countless detours and forge straight ahead on their divine paths!

It was entirely possible that even their Chief God had never enjoyed such an experience. This gave them a profound sense of superiority and belonging. They could only marvel that the Upper Realm Divine System truly lived up to its reputation—so perfect and so incredibly generous!

Because of this, they were extremely polite to Guatmus. Faisal was the first to speak, "Your Majesty the King, is there a deity looking for us?"

Guatmus nodded. "Yes, it is an invitation from the Celtic Pantheon. They hope you can offer them some advice. They are currently transporting their faithful to shape a new world, and they hope to utilize some of your knowledge during the world-building process!"

"Who is the Celtic Pantheon?" Hal asked out of curiosity. They knew that the pantheon they had arrived in was called Aztec or Maya, and that the one who originally invited them here was the Chief God of the Asgardian Pantheon, Loki. They also knew that this planet housed a powerful pantheon known as Christ.

But apparently, that was not the end of it. Where did this Celtic Pantheon come from?Guatmus shrugged. "To be honest, I only received a prompt from the Sun God. As for where this pantheon originated, I have no idea."

The king was very busy, currently welcoming his people who had fled from his era, so he quickly added, "His Excellency said that this is not a mandatory choice. You can choose not to go, and there are no strings attached. It is simply a sudden inspiration from a few gods."

"We will go. Why wouldn't we? We came to this world to learn, so we must naturally visit as many pantheons as possible!" Faisal made the final decision. After all, they had to return to report on their duties, so the more information they gathered, the better.

Moreover, they were quite curious. If a pantheon went out of its way to invite them to their world, it had to be a matter of great importance, right?

Thus, they all agreed. Guatmus immediately began praying to the statue beside him. Once the prayer ended, a teleportation portal materialized next to them.

The three deities exchanged glances and stepped into the portal, only to find that the space-time distance of this gateway was somewhat absurdly vast!

The shadows born from space-time, and that Spatial Channel which had almost condensed into physical matter, gave them quite a fright.

"What does this spatial shadow mean?" The trio was stunned. After all, as deities, they had experienced simple Spatial Teleportation within their Divine Kingdoms.

However, ordinary Spatial Teleportation almost never produced shadows. Given the relatively short distances, they were usually placid and ripple-less Spatial Channels.

Only when traveling from Hell to the main world, or from one end of the Dylan Continent to the other, would there be one or two spatial folds. Those were the signs of folded space. Coming from major pantheons, they naturally understood this basic knowledge.

When they traveled from Earth to Proxima Centauri, they had also noticed the space-time folds. There were slightly over a dozen of them, which did not seem like an excessive amount.

But now, what they saw was a dense, overlapping mass of pitch-black space-time folding marks so tightly packed that not a single gap could be seen. It snapped them completely awake.

Just how much distance was this traversing? Could it be crossing multiple universes? Even that Space-Time Rift was not this dark!

Consequently, the moment they stepped out of the space-time channel, the three deities acted together, choosing to extend their senses back toward the world they had just left.

And would you not know it, they actually managed to sense it—but that almost despair-inducing distance was perceived with horrifying clarity!

A full 1,400 light-years of distance. It was a level of vastness that would make even deities feel true despair. This was a terrifying expanse capable of holding tens of thousands of Dylan Continents, and it served as a harsh test that forced the three deities to clearly recognize their own status.

Hal sighed with deep emotion. "No wonder they treat our world with such indifference. These pantheons must have infinite space that they have not even utilized, right? A world this colossal could easily house hundreds of pantheons!"

They harbored no resentment or greedy desires toward this world, only profound yearning.

They did not even dare to imagine just how incredibly powerful the pantheons developing in this world truly were.

Just as the trio was still left dumbfounded by these revelations, a figure slowly appeared before their eyes. It was an elderly man dressed in a gray robe, who bowed to them and said, "Good day, Your Excellencies. I am Merlin, a mage. I am currently presiding over the Celtic Pantheon's Tuatha Dé Danann in the construction of this new world. The gods hope you might offer some suggestions regarding this realm!"

Hearing the old man's words, the three deities were somewhat dumbfounded.

Because they could sense that within this old man's body lay a mighty power no less potent than Weak Divine Power!

And yet he claimed to be merely a mage? Huh? He was not even a god? Did that make any sense?

Which pantheon was this, to let someone at the level of a deity serve merely as a mage?

All three were silently cursing in their hearts, but ultimately, it was Faisal who replied, "What would you like us to do? This world..."

Naturally, they saw the planet beneath their feet. It was a world even more massive than the one they had previously resided on, yet another physical planet comparable to the entirety of the Dylan Continent. And this was only the newly established realm of a single pantheon. They were completely devoid of the will to even draw comparisons anymore.

Compared to this world, the pantheons of their Dylan Continent probably could not even be considered country bumpkins, right?

Every pantheon here was building entire new worlds from scratch, unlike them, who had to beg and plead just to repair a tiny Divine Kingdom. Once this world was fully established, it would likely see a massive slew of deities securing their domains... Wow, they were so jealous!

They had grown sick and tired of saying the word "envious." They were just too exhausted to even care anymore.

"This world has just been established, and it lacks no elemental forces. We really cannot offer much help!" Faisal was quite curious. This world's atmosphere was completely intact and did not need to be rebuilt. The life energy radiating from that enormous Tree of Life even filled them with a sense of dread. What exactly needed fixing in such a world?

Merlin smiled and said, "The gods wish to add a touch of exotic, foreign elements to this world, just to make their creation process a bit more interesting!"

A faint radiance flashed through his eyes. "If these exotic elements are integrated well, by the time this realm is truly completed, perhaps we might reserve a couple of Divine Seats for you..."

"You could continue holding your posts in your own world, but you would also be able to descend upon this world and become its deities. This is the reward offered by the gods!"

This was a blatant temptation. The three deities were instantly thrilled. Their originally somewhat lackadaisical expressions instantly hardened with resolve. "Your business is our business. Say no more—where do you need us?"

Their appearance of valiant martyrs marching to their deaths left Bai Yang chuckling endlessly in the void.

Long before America and Great Britain brought their engineering crews onto the scene, Bai Yang had already noticed the underlying issue with this world: an elemental disharmony that made the entire realm rather unstable.

To put it in human terms, the climate was erratic, and extreme weather phenomenons were bound to occur.

This naturally annoyed Bai Yang quite a bit. He could have adjusted it himself, but that would be a massive waste of time. Thus, he called over the trio of "exchange students" to serve as the planet's personal "atmospheric regulators."

With such a massive carrot dangling in front of them, he was not worried that they would slack off! The sheer wealth and grandeur of the pantheons in this world had thoroughly convinced them of its authenticity!

"Ah, and I get to farm a wave of Wish Power from these deities while I am at it. Perfect!" Bai Yang looked at the faces of the three gods, nodding in deep satisfaction.

This was, of course, his true intention. He had already shaped this entire world, and even established Transcendent armies and Transcendent selections. If he could not harvest another wave of Wish Power from the deities of the Dylan Continent, would not all this effort have been for nothing?

It just so happened that this "short-term study abroad" would not last too long anyway, so he might as well get things done quickly and cleanly, catching multiple fish with one net.

Looking at it now, the results seemed almost excessively good. The solemn contemplation of these deities only made Bai Yang find the situation all the more amusing.

He feared that in their hearts, this world was already well on its way to becoming their ultimate "beacon of hope"!

That dazzling radiance was shining so brightly they could hardly even open their eyes.

'Excellent. The timing and the location are both spot on. I might as well use them to run a round of trials!' Bai Yang thought cheerfully. Meanwhile, the situation unfolding before his eyes shifted once again!

A Red Dragon was spreading its wings high in the sky!

The trial of the Nature Spirits had arrived!
