From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 415: The Demoralized Powerful Divine Powers

Chapter 415: The Demoralized Powerful Divine Powers

As the Stone Tablet rose, a peculiar image slowly emerged under its reflection.

However, what appeared before their eyes was not a continent, nor was it a deity. It was certainly not some mighty ruler or terrifying creation, but rather a peculiar darkness that bordered on absolute dead silence.

This darkness left the seven deities with Powerful Divine Power momentarily stunned. "Is this the world on the other side? Pure darkness? Absolutely nothing?"

The words of Phillips, the Abyss Lord, seemed to voice the thoughts of everyone present. They stared at this tranquil world, completely unsure of what to do.

If the other party's world contained nothing at all, how could it possibly foster such a massive realm?

Just then, the voice of the Goddess of Magic rang out. "It is not that there is nothing, but rather... it is too vast and empty here. The extreme emptiness makes it appear as though nothing exists. I can feel ripples of Energy within this darkness!"

As she spoke, she reached out and swiped at the image, shifting their perspective from static to in-motion, finally allowing these deities with Powerful Divine Power to clearly see the world before them.

This was not a domain of pure, peculiar darkness. Once the image began to move, they saw what appeared to be an infinite number of scattered, starlike specks.

"Is this the Starry Sky?" someone asked in confusion. Everyone recalled Luowa's words, but none of them spoke further. Instead, they watched as the Goddess of Magic slowly located an incredibly minuscule speck of light and gradually magnified it.

This magnification process dragged on for a very long time, continuing until the deities began to show signs of impatience. Only then did the Goddess of Magic finally stop. Before their eyes, there was still only that scattered starlike radiance; they could not discern any specific objects.

'Could these be mere lights? Illusory lights? Have we been discovered, and they are using this radiance to conceal their world?' someone thought, though they received no answer.

The Goddess of Magic shook her head. "If this is a real world, the distance I just scrolled through would be enough to fit tens of thousands of Dylan Continents... This cannot be real. After all, what kind of world would be so overwhelmingly vast and void?"

If a world was dozens or even hundreds of times larger than the Dylan Continent, they would have been mentally prepared for it. But an outright size difference of tens of thousands of times? How could they possibly believe that?

It was utterly impossible for them to believe such a thing, so the notion that 'the other party's world is fake' had already taken root in their minds.

"No!" Oggses, the Lord of Order, shook his head and stood back up. "I also felt the Energy ripples you mentioned. This is not a false simulation, but rather a peculiar kind of sheer immensity..."

He unfurled his own Stone Tablet, raising his hand fiercely before everyone to directly pour his Divine Power into it!

"You are insane, Oggses! This kind of Divine Power infusion is meaningless; it will only accelerate the progression of the Stone Tablet!" the Lord of Radiance shouted from the side. "This is clearly a deception. It cannot be real..."

Before he could even finish his sentence, a magnificent and colossal construct of light clusters appeared right before his eyes. It was a massive agglomeration formed by countless smaller clusters of light, seamlessly connected. In their vision, it looked like a Great Wall made entirely of pure radiance.

Only then did Oggses stay his hand, murmuring softly, "The final answer we obtain after accelerating it countless times is the true reality!"

Staring at the brilliant clusters before him, he whispered, "I have nearly exhausted my strength. The rest is up to you!"

He had poured in almost all the power he could muster just to reveal this tiny corner of the world. The surging Energy that felt as if it were about to overflow confirmed that his method was not wrong.

Witnessing this scene, the other deities finally understood. Shedding their doubts, they stood up one after another and began channeling their own power.

The Lord of Radiance went first. He continued to expand the cluster of light before them, magnifying it over and over again until it eventually broke down into a scattered field of miniature light clusters.

"It should be almost at the limit. Inside these clusters, there must be some sort of living creatures or Matter, right?" he noted.

The God of War then stood up and continued to expand the swarm of light clusters, relentlessly enlarging the scale until it transformed into a colossal ribbon of light composed of luminous threads. Only then did he slowly stop.

"This should be the true source of Matter. The landmasses must reside within these streaks of light, right?" he guessed aloud.

Phillips, the Abyss Lord, took action next. He systematically reduced the glowing ribbon into smaller clusters of light, and then pushed those small clusters until they became individual, tiny specks of light before stopping. "This... this really should be the end of it, right?" he asked, suddenly sounding rather insecure.

The Infernal Overlord took over. Without a single word, he directly magnified the image once more. He expanded those tiny specks of light against the dark backdrop, enlarging them continuously until they eventually morphed into a massive, swirling vortex disk.

Within that swirling disk, there were still countless specks of light. This rendered the crowd entirely speechless. The baton had now passed to the final deity with Powerful Divine Power.

Even the Death God felt somewhat nervous. Everyone had taken their turn in this relay, and now he was the only one left. Could he finally uncover the Mystery of this world?

He did not know. He could only blindly push the image to expand further and further. Finally, at the very end of the visual dive, he saw a gigantic sphere of light!

The sphere of light revealed itself on the screen, letting everyone know the ultimate source of those tiny specks of light.

However, this single sphere of light stunned every deity present into absolute silence.

It was an incomparably massive star, endlessly radiating Energy at every given moment. That Energy closely resembled the Divine Power output of a Powerful Divine Power, yet it was far more stable and grandiose. It was constantly outputting Divine Power on such a colossal scale that even if all the gods of the Dylan Continent were bound together, they would not be able to unleash such an overwhelming release of Energy.

If this was the Divine Pantheon or even the Divine Kingdom of some specific deity, they would undoubtedly surrender on the spot. There was no fighting this; whoever dared to challenge it would be doomed to lose!

But that was not even the main point. The crucial part was that, besides this one sphere of light, they could see countless similar specks of light filling the background of this region.

Through the zoomed-in images they had just processed, they already knew the truth: the sphere of light before them was merely an insignificant, tiny speck within that vortex-like region. It was not the core of the strongest deity or Divine Pantheon as they had initially assumed!

If the images they had just seen were not fake, if this was not an elaborate illusion tricking them... did that mean that within this vortex-like disk, this sphere of light—which was already terrifyingly powerful to them—was nothing more than a tiny dot contributing to the disk's glow?

This realization was simply far too horrifying. A revelation that completely shattered their understanding of reality was unfolding right before their eyes!

Thinking back on it now made everything infinitely more terrifying!

This star was merely a tiny speck of light on the spiral arm of that colossal disk, and that enormous disk was itself just a minuscule speck within a larger cluster of light.

Those localized clusters of light were, in turn, just a single member of an even more massive light cluster!

That massive light cluster, combined with countless others, formed that beautiful, boundless ribbon of light.

The merging of countless ribbons created the composite light cluster they had seen earlier, and the grouping of those composite clusters was what made up that initial Great Wall-like nexus of light.

And yet, even that Great Wall was merely an insignificant, tiny speck of light in the original, zoomed-out image...

Everyone present possessed Powerful Divine Power, so it naturally was not difficult for them to grasp this concept. But the moment they comprehended it, they all wished they could turn back time—straight back to the moment before they had even brought out the Stone Tablet!

After all, back then, they could still righteously suspect that the opposing world was setting a trap for them, tricking their people into crossing over just to send them to their deaths.

But now, they themselves wanted to go over!

If they could truly devour one of those entire spheres of light, wouldn't they have a genuine chance of achieving the rank of Great Divine Power?

Where in their entire immortal lives had they ever seen such an absurd amount of Energy?

The deities, who originally wanted to observe the mortals or gods of that world, suddenly found themselves hardly interested in them anymore.

They thought of Luowa's behavior. His pride and arrogance, and his sheer disdain for their home world, were incredibly vivid in their memories.

Initially, they had assumed it was just the act of a world traitor, a performance meant to deceive them. But looking at it now, it was clearly just the honest truth!

"I heard the explanations from Griffith and Garfield. I originally thought they were exaggerating, but now it seems they were actually holding back immensely..." Oggses, the Lord of Order, sighed. "It appears... we have truly made contact with a magnificent world..."

The deities with Powerful Divine Power felt completely demoralized. They felt an overwhelming need for some peace and quiet. The sheer scale of that massive Starry Sky, and the world that was even more terrifying than the Starry Sky itself, left them feeling utterly despondent and lost for a time.

Even more of them began to profoundly question the very meaning of their own world's existence!

This psychological blow was simply too massive!
