From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 363: Details of the Divine War

Chapter 363: Details of the Divine War

Weiqiluobocitli's words echoed through the sky like rolling thunder, summoning an overwhelmingly intense radiance!

The light was so dazzling that everyone had to squint against the glare. Yet, amidst this blinding brilliance, a gentle voice resonated softly:

"He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; Yahweh has laid upon him the iniquity of us all."

Upon hearing this voice, everyone seemingly raised their heads, desperate to see exactly who had spoken those words.

Then, within the boundless sunlight, a gentle white glow also began to shimmer. A man dressed in flowing white robes slowly descended from the sky.

"Weiqiluobocitli, did you come here from the battlefield of the gods merely to seek the Lord's faults?" the man asked.

The man's appearance struck many as familiar, but no one dared to voice their assumptions. They could only wait in hushed silence for him to speak again, or for the Sun God before them to respond.

"You speak as if this has nothing to do with you. Son of God, or rather, the representative of Yahweh, leader of the armies of Heaven. Your name in this world is Jesus, isn't it?" Weiqiluobocitli remarked casually.

The moment those words were spoken, believers across every Christian nation in the world fell to their knees!

Never in their wildest dreams did they imagine they would witness the true arrival of the founder of Christianity in this live broadcast—Emmanuel, the Son of God, the Son of Man, the Word, the Mediator, the High Priest, the King, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Lamb, the Bright Morning Star, the Lord of David, the Rabbi, the Rabboni! He remained clad in plain white robes without a single adornment, smiling gently, much like the most tender and loving eldest son of a family.

"Yes!" Jesus replied simply. "In this world, when I began proselytizing two thousand years ago, that was the name I used."

With that confirmation, everyone knew for certain. This was the very Son of God who had walked straight out of the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles!

For the legendary Messiah to descend upon the Mortal Realm in his True Body for the first time—the sheer magnitude of this shock was something non-believers could scarcely comprehend!

In that single instant, the Wish Power surging from Christian regions worldwide literally doubled!

After all, God was but a legend to them, Angels were merely messengers, and Bishops and the Pope were only servants. But Jesus—he was the Lord himself!

Unfortunately, Weiqiluobocitli was not buying it. He stared at the Son of God and sneered, "Pretty words. You say you will bear these sins. So, the centuries of death and slaughter upon this land—are you going to shoulder all of that?"

Jesus nodded. "The Son of Man came to give his life as a ransom for many! Slaughter was never the intention, but since it has come to pass, I shall bear the weight of this sin!"

"Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"

He turned toward the land, appearing to listen to the sins and agonizing wails echoing beneath the earth, as if contemplating his next course of action.

Finally, under the incredibly stunned gazes of the entire world, the Son of God slowly sank to his knees. Amidst the anticipation of countless souls, he softly spoke:

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."

The very next second, he reached out and sliced open his own wrist. Crimson blood trickled down and, in plain view of everyone, seeped into the soil before him.

At that moment, every single believer was horror-struck. They groveled on the ground, praying with fervent desperation, wishing they could exchange their own lives for Christ's suffering.

A few faithful from Spain even pounded their fists against the ground, weeping and screaming, "What right do we have to make Christ pay the ransom for our wicked sins!"

Over in the Vatican, Mario was also deep in prayer, whispering fervently, "He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption... For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy..."

"This is the Son of God... willingly suffering so that he may redeem us with the Sacred Blood of Christ!"

This redemption was, of course, far more than simple bloodshed. As his blood flowed, it served as a mourning dirge for the endless departed souls resting beneath this land!

From the earth before them, countless spirits seemed to take flight. They drifted up into the air, manifesting in front of everyone as pure white souls.

Among them were warriors garbed in animal pelts, alongside men and women in modern clothing. There were ancient Divine Priests and no shortage of recent soldiers. All of them were people who had died tragic, untimely deaths on this very soil.

Watching this unfold, Weiqiluobocitli finally gave a slow nod. "Compared to Yahweh, you, as the Son of God, are far more sincere!"

As he spoke, he raised a hand, summoning a massive, blazing sun. Beneath that sun laid what appeared to be an illusory yet tangible world.

"The sun of the Fifth Sun era is not just a sun; it is an entire realm! Recently, Mictlantecuhtli has been occupied with the Divine War, so you all shall enter my divine domain for now!"

The next moment, the pristine white souls knelt one by one, seeming to recognize the identity of this Sun God, before stepping peacefully into his world.

By now, Jesus had stood back up, looking toward Weiqiluobocitli. "Are you satisfied with this ransom?"

The Sun God shook his head. "This merely accounts for the dead upon this specific patch of land. In the surrounding territories, the number of my fallen kin exceeds millions. Your redemption is far from over!" Jesus nodded slowly, fully aware of this truth. "The Divine War has not yet ended; otherwise, it wouldn't be completely impossible for me to lay down my life once right here..."

"Don't you dare!" Weiqiluobocitli hastily waved his hands. "If the Son of God were to die on our lands, wouldn't your Lord declare a holy crusade? Back in the day, the Babylonian Divine Pantheon was battered senseless for no reason over something like this, completely driven out of this world!"

"It's not as if we haven't fought a Divine War before. Aside from piling on more grievances, there's absolutely no benefit to it—"

Astonishingly, the Sun God actually called a halt to Jesus's actions. He then proposed, "Why not just follow the Contract you made with the Great Emperor of Mount Tai? Take your followers and withdraw from this land?"

Jesus shook his head. "No. His demands must be respected because the dynamic between us and them is fundamentally different. Your demands, however, are impossible to fulfill, because this region is also considered the Lord's Promised Land!"

"The Divine Faith ought to spread across these lands. There is no error in that. The only error lay in the methods used to spread it!"

Weiqiluobocitli chuckled. "It seems you want to ignite another war over belief upon our lands! Then bring it on. This time, there won't be a period of weakness following a Divine War, nor will it be an illogical, apocalyptic final battle..."

"The war of faith shall begin anew once our battle concludes!"

Upon hearing this, Jesus—who had remained perfectly calm even during his Self-Sacrifice—suddenly pulled a bitter face. "A Divine War between you and me? Ah... I do not advocate for violence. Battles between Gods like us don't really solve the root problems, do they?"

"If another terrifying Divine War were to break out, it would just be a massive waste of energy..."

"That is entirely out of your hands! Hahahaha..." Weiqiluobocitli's voice faded away, taking Jesus and his saintly radiance along with it.

The Gods had departed, but the monumental impact of their conversation would not dissipate so easily.

...

"Crown, you've used this single conversation to paint a complete picture of the Divine Wars from the bygone eras!" Alvin exclaimed in amazement. "It aligns almost perfectly with the stories you initially designed..."

"Not almost perfectly—it aligns flawlessly!" Bai Yang said with a beaming smile. "In the future, every single piece of information will point toward one unique, undeniable truth. And that truth is the very Divine War we've woven together!"

"However, we'll have to wait for them to discover that on their own. The truths people uncover themselves are infinitely more convincing than anything we could spoon-feed them."

"Only then will this Wish Power truly coalesce into the kind of Divine Pantheon authority we need for the future, allowing us to keep exploiting the very essence of this world!"

In reality, Bai Yang's core objective had never once wavered. He aimed to forge complete Divine Pantheons and make the inhabitants of this world believe with absolute certainty that they were real.

For this very reason, he intentionally left temporal gaps in the timeline regarding the descents of the Gods, using those voids to corroborate the authenticity of specific events.

For instance, the sudden disappearance of divine guidance within The Church, the deep slumber of the South American gods, the complete annihilation of the Aesir Pantheon, the utter seclusion of the Buddhist factions...

"In the future, humanity will realize that all these mythological factions vanished at nearly the exact same point in history. When that time comes, they'll start piecing together the reasons why..." Bai Yang chuckled gleefully. "And at that very moment, fueled by the sheer accumulation of Wish Power and fabricated information, these events will truly cross the threshold to Refine the False into Truth!"

This was the crux of his plan to Refine the False into Truth—weaving stories that never existed in the original timeline directly into actual history, seamlessly syncing them with the Divine Pantheons he had meticulously shaped.

"You are actively brushing against the authorities of time and stories, Crown!" Alvin said with profound reverence. "Then, what is our next step...?"

"Next is the true birth of the Divine Pantheon, and the complete overhaul of this land!" Bai Yang chuckled softly.
