Chapter 352: You Cannot Save This Nation!

Chapter 352: You Cannot Save This Nation!

"It was actually a one-sided slaughter?" Alvin exclaimed in surprise. "That shouldn't be right. According to my calculations, these people should have lost at least half of their manpower to secure a victory. How could it have been so effortless?"

"Did you calculate that with their firepower, as long as they had heavy weapon coverage, they could inflict casualties on this group?" Bai Yang asked with a smile.

"Yes, Crown. They had so many weapons. How could they rout without launching a single effective attack?" Alvin could not understand. "Their operators died, but they could have fired the weapons themselves! So many weapons and heavy artillery, just abandoned right there on the spot!"

Bai Yang shook his head. "You thought too highly of them. This group was completely stacked with disadvantages. Just look at how many mistakes they made."

"Taking drugs, mocking their opponents, lacking discipline, having zero combat readiness... Even their highest commander hadn't issued an attack order when the enemy initiated their assault!"

"Those in the know understood they came to fight a war, but anyone else would have thought they were on an armed spring outing! The tribesmen, lacking modern weapons, lulled them into a false sense of security. They didn't even perform the most basic weapon inspections..."

Bai Yang continued, "They possess military gear and wield significant power, but they do not actually know how to use it. The only reason they can suppress the government forces is simply a race to the bottom..."

This was the most tragic reality for the Mexican people. The drug traffickers had more advanced weaponry than the government because they were wealthier and more willing to spend that wealth. Therefore, they could completely suppress the government forces, turning this nation into a realm of drug traffickers.

At least, that was the case in the territories they ruled. Offending a government official might not result in any consequences, but if one offended a drug trafficker, their corpse would be strung up in front of their house the very next day. Some municipal officials were even hung right at the gates of the city hall.

"They are unbridled and reckless, becoming kings on their own land! Therefore, this land is shrouded in dark clouds and darkness, allowing them to rule through bloody methods and fear..."Bai Yang spoke with curiosity, "I wonder how our Chief Carl intends to accomplish a transition of faith here?"

Deities needed faith. This point was clearly understood by the four great leaders of the tribe. Yet, in this land, the amount of faith was likely even lower than in neighboring America. After all, the people next door barely had enough to eat, while this land could only grow flowers of evil!

"Crown, you must believe in the people you have chosen, because every single one of them is an outstanding figure in this world! Even if they weren't originally, under the world's scrutiny, they are!"

Alvin's words brought a smile to Bai Yang's face.

Their understanding of the world's consciousness was already quite profound. They knew exactly what kind of role Bai Yang played in the eyes of the world's consciousness, and thus, they knew what kind of roles the Transcendent Beings he selected would play.

Therefore, that statement was entirely correct. The Transcendent Beings he chose would be focused upon as "special existences," and naturally, they would receive an outpouring of natural resources.

"Since you are so confident, let us get moving and help them resolve matters on the Divine Plane. As for the human side of things, we will leave that to them!" Bai Yang said softly. He raised his hand, and a Godhead materialized in his palm.

This was the Godhead of that unfortunate God of Thieves, and it was also the most well-rounded Godhead in Bai Yang's possession.

"What do you think if we use this entire Godhead to mold a true god?" Bai Yang suddenly asked. "Not that kind of fake manifestation, nor that phantom-like power, but a true deity!"

Hearing this, Alvin was startled. He thought for a moment and suddenly found it reasonable. "If you are only doing this to display power, it is unnecessary. But if you have a deeper plan, you should proceed according to your vision!"

Bai Yang chuckled. "There is no rush. The faith has yet to gather, these people's Wish Power is still insufficient, and they are severely lacking in The Faithful. We must wait a little longer..."

In their eyes, this battle was already over. The next step was for this group to digest the fruits of their victory.

The drug traffickers had absolutely no ability to resist against four Transcendent Beings and the assault of three Transcendent forces. The victors did not even need to clean up the battlefield because all of their enemies had already been skewered together!

Evan was quite experienced at doing exactly that!

...

Meanwhile, during this period, the person feeling the most miserable was naturally the head of the Sangaro Family, Sangaro himself!

He originally believed this battle would be the key stepping stone for his family to officially expand from Northern Mexico to the entire nation, and even into the wider Americas. He thought they might even surpass the legendary Pablo Family and become the number one power in Latin America!

In the end, not only had this vision failed to materialize, but he had also lost the most vital assets of his entire family. This time, as long as he did not have to abandon his core support base, it would be considered a victory.

Just as Sangaro was fleeing south, he suddenly received a call from his family. "Boss! Things are bad!"

"What happened?" Sangaro asked nervously. "Did someone attack? Go mobilize the government military and police! Do I have to teach you that?" "No... that's not it..." The voice on the phone was filled with endless panic. "Ciudad Juárez is swarming with their monsters!"

"Monsters?" Sangaro was stunned. "What are you talking about? Where are your guns? Kill them!"

If the two thousand men he had brought with him represented half of the Sangaro Family's future, then the forces remaining in Ciudad Juárez were the other half!

And now, it seemed someone had found that other half.

"What exactly are they?" Sangaro's voice received no reply, leaving only a "hissing" sound echoing from the receiver.

Fear spread through his body, making him feel as though he had plunged into an unspeakable nightmare. It also made him notice the person who had suddenly appeared in his car.

"They are snakes. To be precise, they are the serpent descendants of Crown Rain God Tlaloc!"

Sitting in his car was a very gentle-looking man who appeared entirely non-threatening. However, this did not put Sangaro at ease in the slightest, because he was inside a fully sealed armored vehicle that was still in motion!

Theoretically speaking, it was impossible for anyone to get inside!

"Hello, Mr. Sangaro. I am the Chief of the Apache Tribe and the Messenger of the Eagle God, Carl!" Carl said softly. "Given that the bloodline of the Aztec Empire flows through your veins, you should be able to understand what I am saying!"

He spoke in an ancient language, which left Sangaro stunned. He had never heard this language before, yet he could perfectly understand the man's words.

The fact that the official language of Mexico was actually Spanish was a remarkably ironic thing.

"Mr. Carl, are you the mastermind behind that group?" Sangaro was a boss after all; he quickly calmed down and asked.

"No, the only ones standing behind them are the gods. I am nothing more than a servant of the deities!" Carl stated calmly, looking at the drug trafficker who had suddenly regained his composure. "Your family is completely gone. At Alex's speed, by dawn tomorrow, the only people left in that city will be those who are not drug traffickers!"

"How many people are you going to kill?" Sangaro was horrified. "There are at least ten thousand drug traffickers in that city!"

"If there are ten thousand, we will kill ten thousand. If there are twenty thousand, we will kill twenty thousand. We will kill until everyone who dares to touch these things is wiped out!" Carl declared. "The poisonous plants brought by those invaders will vanish from this land forever!"

"Impossible. You can't do it!" Sangaro shouted loudly. "In this entire country, there are at least millions of people relying on drugs to survive. If you cut off their livelihood, they will fight you to the death!"

This was the true reason why drugs could never be eradicated in Mexico. From production to sales, there were simply too many beneficiaries along the entire supply chain, making this industry truly too entrenched to be dismantled.

"So that is how it is..." Carl nodded, looking pensive. "Then, if we find them a true livelihood and allow them to survive, we can destroy this industry, right?"

Sangaro sneered. "Industry? Aren't all the industries in this country just scraps falling from America? We can only handle low-end labor. The high-end, profitable sectors are all in other people's hands. How are you supposed to provide enough for ten million people?"

Carl came to a sudden realization. "It's not that there are no industries, but that the industries are in someone else's hands? Multinational corporations? Or America?"

"That is simple. We just need to seize the industries back from their hands, right? Those industries should be more than enough to feed the entire nation, shouldn't they?"

"Impossible, no one will allow that! Those things are the private domains of international corporations. They are their properties, and you will face their retaliation!" Sangaro sneered. "Give it up. Only drugs are the future of this nation!"

He roared at the top of his lungs, "The path to saving this country has already been blocked. You cannot save this nation!"

"I wouldn't be so sure!" Carl shrugged and patted Sangaro's shoulder. "Stop the car. We have arrived!"

The armored vehicle came to a halt. Sangaro poked his head out of the vehicle, and then, he saw a massive serpent, as large as a city wall, raising its two heads and staring right at him!
