From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 327: The Archbishop Returning from Hell

Chapter 327: The Archbishop Returning from Hell

Jose's first realization was that his life had likely been spared.

He had been a person of high status for a time, so he naturally understood how those in power thought. If they completely ignored him, that would mean they had truly given up on him. But since they brought him to meet Lucifer, the true boss of Hell, Jose knew he probably had a chance to return to the mortal realm!

Yet he still did not say a single word. Having grown stronger, he could even more clearly sense the massive, indisputable energy radiating from these four Archdemons!

Compared to them, he was still nothing worth mentioning.

This filled Jose with a sense of fear. How had he ever dared to directly oppose The Church? That was a terrifying force capable of beating all the Archdemons before him into submission!

But looking at it now, did these demons want to push him to the forefront, turning him into the one who directly challenged The Church?

'No way!' he thought, wanting to refuse, but he did not even get the chance to speak before the four Archdemons began chatting among themselves.

"This Primal Rage will greatly elevate his power. It truly aligns with your vision!" Gaap remarked with some surprise. Even he had not expected that a casually placed pawn would turn out to be so successful.

He looked at the other two with a beaming smile. "You two, how are your plans progressing?"

Cain was the first to speak. "The Vampire clans have already taken root in Europe and the Americas. If we wanted to, we could pull together an army of Vampires right now, though they would not possess much Combat Power at this stage."Baphomet nodded. "It is the same for the Werewolves. Their exaggerated rate of spread comes at the cost of rather low Combat Power. They cannot even contend with human armies yet!"

"The Church does not have much Combat Power either, but those shameless Angels will definitely choose Divine Descent!" Baphomet declared, bearing his fangs with lingering trepidation. "Especially Michael! To think we failed to make him stay behind last time!"

He seemed to recall the destruction that Archangel had caused when he arrived here previously. The terrifying offensive power that had managed to strike down all four demon lords simultaneously still left him with lingering fear.

"He could never be forced to stay! If you tried to keep him here, Yahweh would personally descend to fish him out!" Lucifer said in a deep voice. "Although he should still be negotiating with other Divine Pantheons right now and most likely will not truly appear, who can say for sure just how much Combat Power that guy possesses?"

This was exactly what gave Lucifer and the others such a headache. The biggest difference between the Christian Pantheon and other Divine Pantheons was that all God Power and Divine Glory were concentrated in a single deity, resulting in Yahweh being almost infinitely powerful!

The pressure this sole deity of such a powerful pantheon exerted on other gods was simply too immense. A gathering of gods could stand against him, but who would casually gather the gods together outside of Godless Wars?

Therefore, in terms of high-end Combat Power, this guy was practically in a league of his own. Only the true Creator Gods of a few Ancient Pantheons were on his level, but why would beings of that caliber shamelessly take the field themselves every single time like Yahweh did?

Hearing this, the Archdemons looked rather frustrated. Having such an absolute tyrant hovering over their heads made any battle uncomfortable.

"Do not fear, I have my sources of information!" Baphomet stated. "Recently, Yahweh needs to explain the expansion of this world to those Divine Pantheons. No matter how strong Christianity is, it cannot make enemies of the entire world, right? So he definitely will not take the field personally. This is our chance!"

Hearing this, a hint of joy appeared on the Archdemons. Lucifer looked directly at Baphomet. "Who gave you this information?"

"Quetzalcoatl, of course!" Baphomet replied. "Many of the Creator Gods of the Barbarian Pantheon seem to have awakened all at once recently. With their power, even Yahweh does not dare to relax. He will definitely remain stationed at Heaven Mountain!"

"That is true..." The demons nodded. The Indigenous Americans pantheon did not have an abundance of anything except Creator Gods. This made many of their regular deities seem quite weak, but their high-end Combat Power was not lacking in the slightest!

If Yahweh was truly pinned down, they really had to stir up a massive tidal wave in this world!

After all, Yahweh would not travel to the neighboring Divine Pantheons alone. Michael was bound to go, and Metatron would definitely have to follow. Gabriel, Raziel, Uriel, and Sariel would have to return to maintain the security of the Heavenly Kingdom. That meant out of all the Archangels of Heaven capable of moving freely, only Remiel, Raguel, Raphael, and Yanar remained!

As the former Vice-Lord of Heaven and King of Angels before Michael and Gabriel, Lucifer understood the operational rules of this system all too well. "Heaven definitely has backup plans, but this is indeed an excellent opportunity! As long as we do not descend to the mortal realm first and break the rules, they cannot come down to stop us!"

"Just like that time over a thousand years ago, we will eventually achieve Rule and faith replacement in certain regions! When that time comes, it will be the era of National War!"

"And war and natural disasters have always been our home ground, not theirs!"

The temptation in the eyes of the demons almost materialized into something physical!

This situation was far too rare and far too enticing for a demon. When else had they ever held such a massive early advantage in a battle against Angels?

"You heard all of that, did you not?" Gaap turned his head to look at Jose. "Right now, Hell needs your power. Can you step up to the task?"

It had taken Jose a while, relying on his understanding of Earth's Supernatural Powers, to roughly sort out the overall situation.

He gave a slight nod. "The Werewolves and Vampires that have appeared, as well as the Solomon Cult I created, all belong to the power of Hell... So, Crown, you summoned me here to gather these forces?"

"You are very smart!" Gaap praised. "And you are highly talented. The power you lost has returned to you, and you do not even need to pay any additional Price!"

These words filled Jose with endless joy. He finally no longer needed to use that translator device; he could speak English and Spanish again. Was this not a stroke of luck?

His power had returned, he had gained even more, and most importantly, he could go back and seek his revenge. This was undeniably fantastic!

Since he was already a demon and The Church would not let him off anyway, he might as well go all out!

Lucifer stated directly, "You need to return, spread the power of Hell, and act as the Envoy of Hell. Connect all the Vampires, Werewolves, and demons. Only then can we launch a war against The Church!"

"A thousand years ago, we gained a great advantage in our war with The Church, and now, we are about to gain that advantage once more! Go and turn this world into our world. Go and snatch away the territories that belong to The Church!"

Jose had no reason to refuse. He bowed his head and promised, "I will get it done, Crown! This entire planet will become the territory of Hell!"

"That will not do!" Gaap interjected. "This is not a world solely contested by Hell and Heaven, but a special world where all gods converge. It is best to stay out of the territories belonging to other Deities..."

Hearing this, Lucifer and the others had dark lines forming on their foreheads. Did they really expect Hell to go provoke the Aesir, Buddhism, and the Inca Pantheon?

They were creatures of Chaos and disorder, but they were not stupid. With so many powerful Divine Pantheons out there, if they actually provoked them, they would be beaten full of holes!

"Go on. Return to your own Realm and spread the Civilization of Hell!" Lucifer waved his hand, sending Jose back to Earth.

However, looking at the ocean before him, he felt somewhat curious. 'This does not look like the Pacific Ocean, nor does it look like the Atlantic Ocean. Where am I?'

Beside him, two people walked past, engaged in conversation. "Hey, do you want to believe in demons? I heard it grants power!"

"Might as well give it a try!"

Hearing this, Jose whipped his head around. He knew exactly where he was now. Switching immediately to Spanish, he asked, "Would you like to believe in demons, young men?"

......

"Now this is more like it! Heaven has its own organization, so naturally, Hell needs an alliance of demons too!" Bai Yang said with a beaming smile. This was something he had wanted to do for a long time. Although there were demons scattered everywhere, they lacked a unified system and instead appeared incredibly disorganized.

This was perfectly normal. Unlike Angels, demons were born as products of disorder.

Even though demons were categorized into distinct groups such as native demons, mortal realm demons, or Fallen Angels, their innate malice and chaotic nature meant there was almost zero possibility of cooperation between them.

For example, demons and Fallen Angels basically despised one another. How could they ever unite?

But now, under Lucifer's forceful suppression, the possibility of cooperation had emerged.

After all, the mortal realm's upcoming era would inevitably be a grand stage for demons. Various Ambitious Individuals, people with tragic pasts, and those who had lost all hope would turn to demons for help. This was the golden age for demons, and simultaneously, the golden age for The Church.

No matter how appealing demons might be, under the illumination of Universal Values, the holy light of The Church would always hold the upper hand. However, The Church had to cultivate its Transcendent members on its own. In this way, they might be able to maintain a bizarre Dynamic Equilibrium.

Furthermore, the existence of demons and Monsters would only solidify the Divine Faith on both sides. Bai Yang could already sense that the second phase of the divine fire ignition ritual was nearing its end!

"The third phase... the Diocese, the Consciousness Anchor, and a much more complete history of The Church..." Bai Yang muttered to himself. "Soon... it will be soon... The birth of the first God is approaching!"
