Chapter 315: This Does Not Conform to the Doctrine, I Do Not Support It

"However, Crown, The Church clearly has its own opinions on this matter," Alvin continued. "Father Angus is giving a speech!"

However, the fate of those deceivers was not pleasant. With a wave of his hand, Angus would cast a Psychic Interrogation, compelling them to confess their own Sins before tossing them straight into the Los Angeles Prison.

To ensure this prison truly functioned as a prison, rather than a sanatorium or a paradise for criminals, Angus specifically ordered Leon to Clean Up the place, restoring the facility to its intended purpose.

That is, to judge Sin by the Law, rather than allowing the maneuvering of lawyers or judges to dictate the verdict.

This decisive action earned him the support of countless more of The Faithful, yet it also caused many others to despise him.

He merely did what he believed a normal society ought to do, but it sparked a massive uproar across America. Angus was encroaching upon State Power, cutting into the profits of the wealthy and powerful.

Angus, however, was not afraid of this. A single sentence from him silenced the opposition: "If you feel your Law is inadequate, judging by The Lord's Words and Deeds is certainly an option!"

As expected, people were inherently inclined to compromise. Remembering the judgments of God within The Bible, these individuals suddenly realized that spending time in their own country's prison was actually quite preferable!

At the very least, it would not constantly escalate straight to the Death Penalty Stage.

The weapon of criticism could never replace the criticism of weapons. Once Angus took a firm stance, those agitators instantly quieted down.

This entire ordeal caused Caroline to withdraw into silence for a long time. She dedicated herself to studying the judgments and Mind Precepts normally reserved for members of the Inquisition, all to prevent such situations from ever happening again.

'Now, even an Angel would not choose to possess her. Exactly who is she being prepared for?' Angus did not dare dwell on the thought. To think further would be stepping over the line. Instead, he asked, "Who is the person seeking help?"

"It is a believer from Los Angeles County. She says her son was arrested by the Police simply for saying, 'Mourning Charlie is not as important as offering a Blessing to The Lord.' He was reported for insulting Charlie!"

Caroline also looked somewhat helpless. She was well aware of recent events in America. Even as someone from a Prominent Family in Luo City, she found it hard to stomach these rapid, drastic societal shifts.

After all, when she was first born, this nation was still wrapped up in the "War on Terror"!

Who could have imagined that by the time she grew up, these shifts in the cultural zeitgeist would become so dizzying? First came Globalization and Anti-war movements, followed by Universal Healthcare and Anti-racial Discrimination. Then came LGBT Labeling and Methodology, shifting into MAGA Unification, and eventually evolving into the previous phase of Diversity, Concretization, and Identity Politics. Now, to top it all off, their Great Leader Golden Hair had initiated a Literary Inquisition!

Hearing this, Angus understood. "The confrontation between Ecclesiastical Power and State Power... This woman coming here was surely her own idea, but the incident itself was undoubtedly orchestrated by someone else!"

Angus didn't even need to think to know this was the doing of certain individuals in California. After all, Golden Hair's drastic regression—arresting people left and right and dividing communities—was bound to make the faction led by Nuland incredibly uncomfortable.

And when they were uncomfortable, they inevitably stirred up trouble. Having The Church speak out first was undoubtedly a foundational step in their scheme...

In truth, even Angus felt a sense of helplessness regarding such matters.

A believer had been arrested and came directly to their door for help. He absolutely had to speak up. This represented the will and dignity of The Church. The Church of today was no longer The Church of the past.

However, before addressing the issue publicly, Angus placed a call to Pope Mario. "Crown, this is Angus!"

"Ah, Bennett Cardinal, what is it that you need from me?" It was already night on Mario's end, and he sounded somewhat exhausted. "Is it so urgent?"

"Crown, regarding the current political situation in America, someone is trying to drag us into the mud!" Angus calmly explained the circumstances to Mario, eventually concluding, "I need authorization for a team to intervene in this situation!"

"Is that so... these Politicians, hmph! Who do you need?" Mario asked decisively. He possessed acute political sensitivity and knew exactly what it meant for these people to drag The Church down. "I will give you my full support. Your opinion is the opinion of The Church! How dare they rebel against us!"

It all came back to the same truth: before the gods appeared, if you called me the mayor of the Vatican, I wouldn't argue with you. But now that God has arrived, what should you call me?

"There is no need. The addition of the Religious Tribunal is enough! If worse comes to worst, Grand Master Leon and Sir George are also my allies!" "Cardinal Angus, could you share your thoughts on a believer being arrested simply for offering a Blessing?"

"Excuse me, how does the Vatican view the matter regarding Mr. Charlie? Will you be presiding over his Funeral?"

"Yes, yes, Cardinal Angus, what is your stance on this incident?"

A torrent of questions surged forward, only to be blocked when Angus raised his hand, conjuring a barrier of Radiance. He spoke slowly and clearly, "Do not push, and turn off your flash photography. I will address this matter."

The moment those words were spoken, the Media went wild! This was Cardinal Angus, globally recognized as a top-tier Transcendent Being, stepping forward to accept an interview for the very first time! How could they not be astonished?

Many anticipated that this would be earth-shattering news!

Angus began speaking slowly: "The Lord said: And ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free."

"Wherefore putting away Lies, speak every man truth with his neighbor..."
