From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 252: The Buddhist Declaration to the Nations

Chapter 252: The Buddhist Declaration to the Nations

"Bodhisattva Zhen Luo, that hostility was not our doing. It was an unauthorized order given by those desperately seeking Transcendent power. Please forgive us!"

Someone finally stepped forward to express their goodwill. "We will definitely restrain them upon our return to prevent such things from happening again!"

Zhen Luo waved his hand. "There is no need. If there are such people, simply send me their names, and I will personally invite them into the Avici Hell!"

Even though he had established his grand ambition and achieved Buddhahood, his essence remained that of the Wutian Buddha. He merely possessed a bit more patience now. As for boundless mercy and limitless forgiveness, he had none!

He still possessed the ability to strike with the wrath of a thunderbolt!

Hearing this, many people immediately caught on. That was actually a brilliant idea—they could just go back and submit the names of their rivals!

After all, their opponents had committed countless and unforgivable sins, so tossing them into hell could hardly be considered a false accusation!

The world never lacked clever people. Even under the overwhelming pressure of Zhen Luo, they were still calculating their own interests. Meanwhile, Zhen Luo was clearly not finished speaking.

"I hope that your respective nations will repatriate those who fled this city prematurely. Since this poor monk has made a grand vow, I will not allow anyone to leave this land!"

Expressions varied at these words. They all knew exactly who he was referring to: the Brahmins and Kshatriyas who had hastily abandoned the city over the past few days! Those people probably never imagined that even after fleeing early, they would still be hunted down!

"Every person on this land shall be a believer of my Buddha. The guilty must atone for their sins, and the innocent shall be blessed!"

Zhen Luo declared, "Furthermore, the Buddhist temples in this city will be reopened. Monks from all nations are welcome to study and worship here to achieve true enlightenment!"

Hearing this, the crowd, who had previously been dismissive of these matters, raised their heads and stared at him in astonishment.

They had not expected this Bodhisattva to be so well-versed in the art of the exchange. If he had simply demanded the repatriation of the escapees, no one would have willingly complied. After all, it was a thankless task that would only offend powerful figures.

However, by offering them the privilege of participating in Buddhist exchanges in return for repatriating those people, he had thoroughly piqued their interest!

The so-called "Buddhist exchange" was merely an excuse. Everyone knew about the recent influx of Church personnel heading to America, specifically to the Luo City church. Wasn't it entirely because there was a true Holy Maiden there who could grant blessings and bestow Transcendent power through Precepts?

And now, this Bodhisattva clearly possessed an even more definitive Transcendent power. Didn't this mean they had just found a brand new avenue to the supernatural?

Going to America meant having to cater to Golden Hair's moods, but coming to Calcutta meant they did not have to answer to anyone!

"Of course, we will do our absolute best!" Hearing Zhen Luo's words, those who had been indifferent moments ago immediately beat their chests and made firm guarantees!

"However, I must also ask you to warn your Buddhist disciples. Those who disrespect the precepts and lack virtue are unworthy of cultivating the Buddhist path!" Zhen Luo's tone carried an indescribable, ruthless dominance. "Tell them to hand over their ordination certificates and return to secular life, rather than squatting in the temples as useless figureheads!"

"If they are unwilling, this poor monk will personally assist them. But when I arrive in person, all monks who have broken their vows shall be cast into the Avici Hell!"

Every religion operated like this. The ultimate punishments were always reserved for their own believers. After all, if one chose to follow a faith, they were bound to obey its strict rules. Those who defied them were not mere non-believers, but betrayers of the faith, and they warranted double the punishment!

"Duxuan, tell them. What is the Avici Hell?" Zhen Luo spoke again, assigning the explanation to Monk Duxuan while he pulled out the wooden fish that had been seared into everyone's memories.

"Tock!" He struck the wooden fish.

"The so-called Avici Hell, as described in the Sutra of the Great Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, is characterized by five infinite elements: uninterrupted time, uninterrupted space, uninterrupted suffering, uninterrupted consequence, and uninterrupted life!" Mage Duxuan slowly explained. "In general, it means continuous, immeasurable, and infinite. Other hells eventually come to an end, but the Avici Hell has no end!"

As he spoke, the space around the crowd slowly warped under the rhythmic tapping of Zhen Luo's wooden fish, shifting from the original eighteen levels of hell into an entirely different dimension.

"Enduring torment day and night, lasting through countless kalpas without a single moment of respite—thus, it is uninterrupted in time."

As Duxuan's words fell, terrifying scenes materialized around them. Spirits trapped in the cycle of day and night were continuously experiencing the absolute limits of physical agony!

"One person fills it, and countless people also fill it—thus, it is uninterrupted in space."

This time, within that limitless void, infinitely massive tortures were enacted upon a single individual all at once, creating an especially ferocious and horrifying spectacle!

"Torture devices of forks and clubs, eagles, snakes, wolves, and dogs; pounding mills, saws, and chisels; chopping, hacking, and boiling cauldrons; iron nets and iron ropes; iron donkeys and iron horses; raw leather binding the head, molten iron poured over the body; swallowing iron pellets in hunger, drinking liquid iron in thirst. From years to kalpas, through millions of lifespans, the agony is unbroken and continuous—thus, it is uninterrupted in suffering."

Infinite instruments of torture, in every shape and form, showcasing every conceivable and inconceivable punishment, unfolded right before their eyes!

"Regardless of whether one is male or female, barbarian or civilized, old or young, noble or lowly; whether dragon or deity, heavenly being or ghost; all who carry the karma of sin suffer equally—thus, it is uninterrupted in consequence."

This time, there was no distinction between men and women, old and young, tall and short, fat and thin, human or animal, or even celestial immortals; all were subjected to the exact same torment. Even those dressed in magnificent robes or possessing bizarre forms could not escape this prison of agony!

"If one falls into this hell, from the moment of entry through hundreds of thousands of kalpas, they will die and be reborn ten thousand times in a single day and night. They cannot pause for even a single fleeting thought. Only when their karma is exhausted can they be reincarnated. Through this continuous cycle—thus, it is uninterrupted in life."

The final endlessness was, of course, infinite time, infinite lives, dying and resurrecting, an endless cycle of rebirth. In short, as long as sinful karma existed, the agony would continue!

Everyone bore witness to this scene. The profound power of fear seemed to seep deep into their very bones until they were violently jolted awake!

"Ah!" someone screamed in sheer terror, only to find themselves still sitting in their vehicle, the driver steadily navigating the road ahead.

"Where are we going?" one of the newly awakened asked in a dazed stupor.

"The guests have finished their audience, so we are heading to the airport, of course!" the driver replied. His words sent countless people into deep, troubled thought.

Then, they noticed a bodhi seed resting in their palms, serving as a chilling reminder that everything they had just experienced was not a dream!

......

This entire scene naturally unfolded before Bai Yang's eyes. Or rather, this was the exact story he had just orchestrated!

Through the design of this narrative, he had flawlessly introduced his newly crafted character—Yubao Daoren!

Though referred to as Yubao Daoren, anyone familiar with the identity of the Great Emperor of Eastern Azure Hua would know exactly who "Yubao" represented.

The Great Emperor of Eastern Azure Hua was also known as Taiyi, the Heavenly Lord of Salvation from Suffering. His incarnations were the Heavenly Lords of Salvation in the Ten Directions, and one of them was naturally the Heavenly Lord Yubao of the East!

The so-called Yubao Daoren was actually an illusory manifestation of this very Heavenly Lord!

After accepting Wutian's departure, Bai Yang's choice had been exceedingly ruthless. He used a brand-new identity to drag Wutian directly into his snare, causing the Demon Buddha to completely plummet from the role of a chess player to a mere pawn on the board.

Now, he had even used the Hell that Wutian himself had suggested creating to thoroughly shackle this Bodhisattva, turning him into a permanent fixture in his grand design!

For a very long time to come—perhaps an unimaginably vast epoch—Wutian would be firmly trapped within the nation of India and the depths of Hell!

This was the path Bai Yang had chosen for him. At the same time, Wutian's existence would serve as the foundational pillar for the Buddhist Sect in this world!

"Alvin, does this make me seem cruel?" Bai Yang suddenly asked.

"Crown, you are deeply merciful!" Alvin replied. "You could have completely erased his existence, yet you still provided him with a path to ascend!"

"Merciful? Not necessarily!" Bai Yang shook his head. He glanced at his side, where the ethereal phantom of a Taoist priest bobbed up and down—it was Yubao Daoren.

'Ultimately, I still have to tap into my native culture...' Bai Yang sighed inwardly. Of course, even though it was his own culture, he wouldn't show too much favoritism, nor did he plan to micromanage its development.

After all, he had planted the seeds in the mainland very early on. He simply kept them hidden, gently guiding them toward a path of self-evolution. Looking at it now, the results were genuinely quite impressive.

Compared to other civilizations, that nation truly possessed a more grounded understanding of cultivation. This was also the exact reason why their presence on the international stage had been relatively quiet lately.

Yet, the Transcendent power within that country was advancing faster than anywhere else. After all, the strength derived from internal cultivation would undoubtedly outpace external supernatural awakenings and divine blessings, wouldn't it?

"It is time for the gods of the Taoist Sect to manifest in this world. After all, this entire East Asian continent falls under their domain!" Bai Yang said slowly. "We shall start from this region, then!"

He shifted his gaze toward the southeast.
