From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 192: A Good Thing From a False Alarm

Chapter 192: A Good Thing From a False Alarm

The lost secrets of the Church were being recovered and their ranks were swelling. Naturally, their power would also multiply.

Watching this scene unfold, Bai Yang remained perfectly expressionless.

That was because this piece of history was actually "real."

Of course, in the true course of history, there were no so-called Monsters, nor were there tales of parliamentary members returning from the dead through the power of a Demon.

There were only ordinary power struggles and the clandestine affairs of the Church's Grey Hands.

The Julius family was completely real, and those three major events were a mix of truth and fabrication. This was what he called historical fusion.

These people were indeed devout believers. However, their ancestors had simply accepted money from a Bishop to handle dirty work that was inconvenient for the Church to address publicly. That was all there was to it.

However, those Bishops were not permanent fixtures. They would be transferred away or suddenly drop dead due to various circumstances. Naturally, these hidden operations vanished the moment their sole contact was gone.

These operatives were the remnants left behind during various Church reforms and global upheavals. They had been forgotten by history, doomed to fade into obscurity and decline along with the past—until Bai Yang appeared.

He isolated this fragment of history, infused it with Wish Power, injected God Power, and directed his divine fire to focus upon it. Under this Trinity of forces, the mystical narrative of that era was slowly brought to life.Mario and Rasinger believed they had unearthed this hidden history, but in reality, Bai Yang had simply piggybacked on their discovery to reconstruct it.

This reconstruction was far from reckless; it was a highly controlled and specialized experiment.

After all, Alvin had just popped out from the divine fire. Brimming with awe, he delivered the answer to Bai Yang, "Crown! It is real! It has become absolute reality! The history and memories we fabricated have actually manifested in both the past and present, guided by the divine fire!"

"Isn't that completely normal? What are you so shocked about?" Bai Yang was somewhat baffled. Alvin was missing the point entirely.

"No, Crown! There is something far more unbelievable!" Alvin reached into thin air and yanked out The Core, who was dressed as a ferryman. "You tell him, The Core! Tell him what just happened in the Underworld!"

The Core maintained his usual unhurried demeanor. Slowly setting down his wooden oar, he stated, "Master, in the realm of death, several Souls that were never supposed to exist within our parameters have materialized out of nowhere."

"What?" This time, Bai Yang lost his composure. "When you say Souls that were never supposed to exist, do you mean..."

"Exactly what you are thinking!" Alvin interjected, explaining rapidly. "In the realm of death connected to this place, a group of Souls bearing special markers just spawned. Deep within their memories, they carry the brand of the name 'Julius'!"

"In other words..." Bai Yang realized the implication. "They are the members of the Julius family that we fabricated. Right?"

"Yes! The world acknowledged the existence of these Souls, and thus they came into being! The divine fire recognized their manifestation and subsequently ferried them into the Underworld. The chain of logic is flawless!" Alvin replied.

Refusing to believe it without seeing it for himself, Bai Yang cast out his Consciousness, drifting into that realm to observe. Sure enough, he saw those very Souls!

Bai Yang stroked his chin. Feeling his heart hammering against his ribs, he realized the sheer absurdity of the situation. "Yeah, the chain of logic is flawless. But that is the only thing that makes sense here!"

"The family exists in history, but their Soul data shouldn't be in the higher-dimensional domain at all! The higher-dimensional information of this world only dates back about a decade at most before it becomes a chaotic jumble of infinite Universe data!"

"Even if the Death God, the God of Souls, or the God of Culture from the Dylan Continent came here—deities possessing Powerful Divine Power and unparalleled data-processing capabilities—they would still be overwhelmed by that endless torrent of information. How could they possibly extract these specific Souls?"

This situation was entirely different from when Bai Yang shaped the world and deliberately planted Souls.

The Souls he created had concrete beginnings and ends. Their origins were meticulously outlined, perfectly traceable down to every distinct region within every world.

Before his arrival, Earth was a realm of pure Matter. Everything had a rational cause and a logical origin. The fundamental laws were locked in place like tightened screws, seamlessly leaving no room for the supernatural. Therefore, to harness this world's Wish Power, he had to operate within its native rules. That was why he initiated a revival of mythology and orchestrated the emergence of mysteries across nations.

It was only by manipulating the world's Wish Power and exploiting its pre-existing laws to complete these operations that he had achieved his current heights.

But the phenomenon occurring right now genuinely shocked him. Broadly speaking, it completely defied the foundational laws of reality!

It was as though an invisible, giant hand had scooped up fragments of Souls that had long been ground to dust by the wheels of history, stitched them back together, and casually tossed them into his fabricated Underworld. The more he thought about it, the more horrifyingly bizarre it felt!

Bai Yang frowned, a flicker of genuine anxiety rising in his chest. Could there actually be some unfathomable entity in this world, watching him from above just as he observed mortals from the shadows?

"Wait... No!" He violently shook his head. "I think I've experienced something like this before!"

A sudden realization hit him. He shot straight up into the sky, tearing through the atmosphere toward outer space. In mere moments, he reached the void between Earth and the moon. Gliding past a few satellites and space stations, he arrived before a microscopic boundary.

Peering through this boundary, Bai Yang observed the pocket dimension within. A sapling was slowly extending its branches, radiating an aura identical to the energy he had just sensed in the Underworld!

"Phew..." Bai Yang exhaled a long sigh of relief. "Thank God... It is exactly what I suspected!"

Alvin remained bewildered. "Crown, have you figured it out?"

"I have!" Bai Yang declared with restored confidence. He turned to the ferryman beside him. "The Core, lock onto those newly generated Souls. Can you detect any traces of Wish Power on them?"

"I can, Master. However, the trace of Wish Power is exceedingly faint, almost bordering on non-existent."

Bai Yang gave a slight nod. "That makes perfect sense. Because this isn't our Wish Power. It isn't the Wish Power of humanity, nor is it the Wish Power of a God. It is the Wish Power of the world itself!"

"Our grand deception has finally taken full effect. The world itself believed the history we fabricated. That profound belief transformed into absolute, undeniable Wish Power, which then poured into the Underworld..."

"Consequently, this Wish Power parsed through residual Soul data that even deities couldn't untangle. It extracted the necessary fragments, reconstructed the very Souls from our fictional stories, and anchored them into reality!"

A laugh bubbled up as he spoke. "And ironically, this spontaneous reconstruction managed to scare the living daylights out of us, the actual orchestrators! It really is..."

"...a bit inexplicably terrifying!" Alvin finished the thought. "Crown, this wasn't an oversight on our part. It just proves that the sheer power of this world far exceeds our wildest expectations!"

Bai Yang nodded in agreement. "Yes. The underlying might of Earth is utterly unbelievable. Even without a shred of sapient Consciousness, its raw, sheer instinct is enough to generate such reality-bending shockwaves!"

A spark of profound interest danced in his eyes. He had previously exploited the collective subconscious of these realms to forge the foundational sprout of Yggdrasil and the rudimentary framework of the Nine Realms.

But now, knowing that the world's innate Wish Power could literally dissect history and pinpoint specific data from higher-dimensional information streams... didn't that mean his possibilities were limitless? As long as his Worldview was impeccably logical, his narratives perfectly self-consistent, and the world was fed a complete picture, couldn't certain things be authentically manifested into reality?

Transcendence generated Wish Power, and divine fire reignited the flames of history. In turn, the collective cognition and innate Wish Power of the world would permanently crystallize these concepts, cementing the final pieces of his Divine Pantheon!

Bai Yang's ambitions expanded even further. 'Fabricating certain phenomena will require an absurd amount of Energy. Personally transporting and managing that much power would be a logistical nightmare. But... what if I let the world itself handle the heavy lifting? Wouldn't that be infinitely easier?'

'Aha, just imagine orchestrating a gamma-ray burst! If I can leverage the world's power to pull off something of that scale, then even if the entire pantheon of the Dylan Continent descended upon Earth, they'd have no choice but to sit down and politely negotiate the future of this world with me...'

A faint smile played on Bai Yang's lips as all remaining anxiety melted away. Brilliant new schemes began to sketch themselves in his mind, paving a glorious road for the future.

The foundational depths of Earth were far more profound than he had ever imagined. That sheer, latent power was truly intoxicating!

Alvin chimed in at the perfect moment, "Crown, this will pave your path to true godhood. The immense power of this world will inevitably become a part of your future!"

One had to admit, Alvin always knew exactly what to say. Bai Yang smiled and nodded, feeling that his assistant's flattery was entirely justified.

Naturally, he harbored grand designs for the resources of this world. Its boundless reservoirs of power would serve as the ultimate fuel for his evolution and his divine Consciousness—it would, essentially, become everything to him!

However, boundless ambition still needed to be tempered by cool rationality. Now that this false alarm was over, the grand theatrical play unfolding in Italy had to continue without a hitch.

Right on cue, Bai Yang's gaze pierced through the Earth's atmosphere to observe his key actor. At that very moment, Lyon Lankechi was sitting on a flight bound for Sicily.

Another leading actor had taken the stage!
