From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 183: This Time, It Should Be the Northern Vampire Race

Chapter 183: This Time, It Should Be the Northern Vampire Race

Milan, Italy.

It was still this city, but this time, Bai Yang appeared on the city's football stadium.

As everyone knew, Milan was a city belonging to football. As the second-largest city in Italy and the capital of the Lombardy region, its most famous international claim to fame, aside from Milan Fashion Week, was football!

After all, the world-renowned teams AC Milan and Inter Milan were both located here, and both stood strong in the continent's football tournaments.

Therefore, even though the Nordic Five were currently at the Eye of the Storm in the international community, the football matches in this city were still flourishing with intense momentum!

For instance, right now, it was another thrilling "Milan Derby." In this ancient football stadium, AC Milan and Inter Milan, the two football giants of the city, were clashing head-to-head!

"Ah, it has been a while since I last watched a football match. It really is quite interesting!" Bai Yang exclaimed. Having returned from the extreme freezing weather of Pluto, he wanted to watch something exhilarating like this to let his body resonate with the surrounding environment and warm up!

Thus, he changed into a jersey and excitedly joined the lively event, shouting along with the crowd around him and cheering for the players below!

Although the people around him had no idea who was sitting next to them, nor would they remember his face, they seemed to be inspired by Bai Yang's voice, and their cheers grew significantly louder.

In this surging crowd, if Bai Yang wanted to, he could perhaps harvest the Wish Power of this stadium and even the entire city just by projecting a single ray of light. However, he was already a very mature mastermind behind the scenes, so he would not do something so classless. Besides, he was not exactly lacking in Wish Power.

Apart from being a city of football and fashion, Milan was also one of the holy sites of Christianity.

Because over a thousand years ago, right here, the Emperor of the Roman Empire at the time, Constantine I, signed a special decree known as the "Edict of Milan" in this very city.

This order allowed the Catholic Church to truly step onto the stage, crushing the Roman polytheism of the time, becoming the state religion of the Roman Empire, and growing into the world's largest denomination!

Bai Yang had no doubt that the history of Christianity within this city would be astonishingly abundant!

Soon, the two sides of the derby fought to a hard-won one-to-one draw on the pitch, prompting the excited fans to begin exiting, leaving Bai Yang alone.

Watching this massive stadium gradually transition from a boiling cauldron of voices to complete desertion, Bai Yang's mentality, which had seemed to share the Fanaticism of the entire fanbase, slowly faded.

"Alvin, only at times like this can I feel my heart still beating and my blood still flowing!" Bai Yang remarked with a sigh.

"That is an illusion, Your Crown!" Alvin replied. "You have long transcended the physical composition of a human. Whether it is a heartbeat or blood, to you, they are merely conceptual names, not necessary existences!"

"You really are a buzzkill when you tell the truth!" Bai Yang muttered.

He naturally knew it was just an illusion. His body had completely lost its human traits the moment the Godhood entered him.

After undergoing the dual Baptism of Wish Power and God Power, his physical form had long completed its absolute specialization. His essence as a God allowed him to better maintain his own existence.

It was just that deep down, Bai Yang still retained his self-identity as a 'human'.

"Your Crown, it is time to begin the new plan!" Alvin appeared beside Bai Yang. The two strolled across the football pitch, gazing at the surrounding seats. They could almost faintly perceive the lingering echoes left behind by the boiling crowd just moments ago.

"Of course, I know! I was just pondering how many Transcendent Souls I should send down, and how many lower-realm Souls I should elevate to Transcendence!"

Bai Yang said, rubbing his chin. This time, he wanted to pull off a different sort of stunt and complete a Transcendent promotion right here in this Catholic city!

However, the protagonist of the story Bai Yang designed this time was not Christianity, or rather, not just Christianity!

He had just established a special Realm of Death. Naturally, he needed to add something called 'historical traces' to this Realm of Death, weaving it into the history of this world.

No Transcendent entity could casually appear in the history of this world, not even those designed by Bai Yang himself. This was the rule he had set for the world.

Therefore, he had to design a story that would allow the World of Death to descend upon this world and truly integrate with its history!

Amidst the carnival-like "celebratory echoes," Bai Yang fully completed this special conceptualization. Right here in this city, he was going to put on a unique performance, and through this show, he would make the Realm of Death recognized by the entire world!

In Catholic legends, there was only one such Realm of Death that met the criteria for a World of Death, and that was "Hell"!

However, bringing out a Demon right away was a bit too bizarre. Moreover, it did not align with Bai Yang's ongoing plans to gather Divine Faith and shape Transcendence. Instead, another existing creature seemed to have some potential!

Pondering these matters, Bai Yang slowly nodded. He already had a finalized plan in his mind. Besides, the city he had chosen, and even this very football stadium, held significant meaning.

"Alvin, the performance venue is ready. Now it is time for our 'audience' to take their seats!"

Alvin nodded slowly and asked his final question. "Then, Your Crown, who exactly is the performer..." "The performer, of course, is Italy's traditional horror character, the colleague of that Impaler!" Bai Yang said with a smile. "Wallachia is the progenitor of the Vampire Race in The South, but in reality, he was a loser driven out of the European Continent by his own kin during the vampire civil strife!"

"And this time, with the establishment of the world known as Hell, the system of the Vampire Race will also be completely revealed!"

"Anyway, this world does not have that gaming company called White Wolf. I can just take the lore of the thirteen Vampire clans and use it directly!"

"As for history, let us start from the distant Middle Ages, during the era of the Black Death!"

A smile lingered on Bai Yang's lips as his figure vanished into the void.

The era belonging to the European Continent, the Black Death, the decline of The Church, and the rampant spread of Monsters had begun!

...

Charles Luongo was an unemployed vagrant in Milan. Of course, he did not see it that way. He always believed himself to be an excellent football scout whose talents simply went unrecognized.

It was just that in all these years, he had never managed to discover a single outstanding player!

So, he could only choose to prowl and wander around the stadiums, hoping to find someone who caught his eye, allowing him to shoot to fame overnight and become a figure on par with top scouts and agents.

Naturally, this was all just his delusion. In reality, he was nothing more than a worthless loser with no redeeming qualities, drowning in his own fantasies every day while relying on Government welfare.

Just like right now, he had snuck into this football stadium under the cover of night, hoping to complete his "expedition" before the cleaners arrived the next morning.

Fans often left behind a lot of "trash" in this stadium, such as various personal belongings, clothing, bags, and the like.

If he was lucky, he might even stumble upon a club membership card, which he could exchange for a month's worth of drinking money. Because of this, Charles searched very diligently.

But for some unknown reason, the stadium felt unusually freezing today. Even though it was close to midsummer, Charles could not help but shiver violently. "Ciao! Why is it so cold? Is it going to rain?"

He kept his head down, weaving back and forth between every seat in search of the things he needed, only to accidentally bump into a "person."

"There are still competitors at this hour?" Charles sneered as he pulled a switchblade from his waist. Looking up, he shouted, "This is Charles of Milan Street's turf. You bastards have crossed the line!"

He really wanted to see exactly which Romanian or Gypsy dared to show up on his turf!

Then, Charles froze.

Because the entity that appeared before him was a "person" with a deathly pale face, their body seemingly hidden within a shadowy silhouette. The figure appeared to have heard Charles's voice and slowly turned around, staring at him with a pair of faintly red eyes that glowed in the dark.

That emotionless gaze, looking at him as if appraising prey, made Charles shudder all over.

He abruptly lowered his head. "I am sorry for the disturbance, I will get lost right now!"

On the ground, where the person stood, there was no human shadow. Instead, there was the sprawling silhouette of a pair of membranous wings, exactly like a Bat's!
