From God of Lies to Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 107: You're Unhappy Now That It's Actually Here

Chapter 107: You're Unhappy Now That It's Actually Here

Of course, everything in the dream was a direct copy of reality. Every single detail was exactly the same.

Having entered the Dreamscape so many times, Bai Yang could now be called a Dream Master. He could achieve a true one-to-one replication of everything before his eyes, and even transition people seamlessly between reality and illusion.

If he wanted to, he could create a world where reality and illusion intertwined, turning it into a Realm of Nightmares for certain people.

However, that did not align with his plans, so Bai Yang had no intention of doing so. Establishing a brand new Faith Energy Production Base right here in Miami was much more in line with his goals.

Coincidentally, Father Angus was about to commence his Church Order Re-establishment Plan. Perhaps by the time the priest arrived in Miami, the Demon God system here would already be fully established.

Thinking about this, Bai Yang actually felt a thrill of excitement!

And so, let the Dreamscape unfold!

......

He Sai was a white man of Hispanic descent, as well as an Original Inhabitant of this magical land of Florida.

This area originally belonged to Spain as a colony and maintained extensive commercial ties with South American Countries. It was completely natural for someone like He Sai to be born on this land.Unfortunately, this was no longer the colonial era, but an age of chaos. As a world-famous tourist city and port, Miami boasted the highest number of millionaires in America, but it also suffered from the nation's largest wealth gap!

Sometimes, it was not that He Sai did not want to live an honest life, but rather that this damned city simply would not allow him to.

To survive, one had to rely on robbing, scamming, and extorting those even lower on the social ladder just to barely scrape by like a human being.

Under the influence of this mentality, He Sai became an authentic "Florida Man"—someone who would do absolutely anything and accept any condition, as long as it made him money!

And now, he had a premonition that he was finally going to succeed!

He had never been this successful before. So many people believed his words. So many people bought into his "apocalyptic Redemption Coins" theory. He had acquired wealth and garnered fame; the only thing left was to figure out a way to make a clean getaway...

Standing before the crowd, He Sai pondered these thoughts while gazing out at the masses once more, wanting to hear their cheers and fanatical shouts.

But when he opened his eyes and cast his gaze upon the people before him, a look of unmistakable astonishment washed over his face.

The noise in his ears had vanished. The cheering before him had disappeared. The surrounding environment had not changed in the slightest, yet it felt as if the entire world had been put on pause by an invisible hand!

Everything around him seemed suspended in Time Stop. The actions of the crowd were paused, some people's movements were frozen in place, and all ambient sounds had faded away. The only thing remaining was the rhythmic thumping of his own heart.

He Sai abruptly charged out of the room, only to see a paused world outside—a motionless crowd and birds hovering completely still in the sky.

Endless panic flooded his mind. The terrifying deterrence brought about by this supernatural event was far too overwhelming, leaving He Sai completely at a loss for what to do.

He could not even utter a single word. He could only stare blankly at this stagnant world before eventually stumbling back to the stage he had just been standing on.

"This is all a dream. This is just an illusion. It is not real... This cannot be real!" he muttered to himself. He stared at the reveling crowd around him and looked at the papers, flyers, and even some people's underwear that had been tossed into the air and had yet to fall back down. He had no idea what to do next.

Suddenly, a peculiar sound reached his ears, causing He Sai to whip his head around!

It was a very faint trickling sound, like something flowing, or perhaps something gathering and scattering.

But regardless of what it was, it jolted his spirits! It was a sound, breaking the absolute silence!

The completely silent world from a moment ago had placed an immense psychological burden on him. He was on the verge of breaking down.

The sound was not hard to track down, as it was the only noise left in the world. Following his senses, He Sai made his way to the backstage of the speech area.

This place was originally an abandoned Church. The so-called speech area was actually the place where a Priest or Bishop would conduct sermons and Worship, while the back area served as the confessionals.

Inside this confessional, He Sai saw the source of the noise. It was a silver Hourglass, slowly trickling sand that resembled liquid mercury bit by bit.

It was already halfway empty. He could even sense that once the Hourglass finished flowing, the world's suspension would be lifted.

He instinctively reached out to touch the Hourglass, but right at the moment he was about to make contact, his body retreated backward uncontrollably. "This is not something you can touch. The only result of you coming into contact with it is turning into Sands of Time and Space, becoming a flowing part of time..." an elegant and tranquil voice echoed in He Sai's ears.

He jerked his head around, only to see that the silver Hourglass from a moment ago had already landed in the hands of the person standing before him.

It was an incredibly elegant man. The moment he laid eyes on the other party, the word 'noble' immediately surfaced in He Sai's mind.

The person before him was dressed in exceedingly luxurious attire, looking down at him from a highly elevated posture with eyes full of amusement. "I would hate for an interesting little fellow like you to simply die right here!"

"Who... who are you?" He Sai asked, forcefully suppressing the terror in his heart.

They had naturally heard of Golden Hair's public declarations, but the vast majority of people merely treated those words as a part of Golden Hair's "daily episodes of madness".

This Great Leader's ability to spout utter nonsense was known even by toothless old ladies living all the way on the Pacific coast. That was his reputation!

Therefore, He Sai had never believed Golden Hair's words. He did not think that the Advent of the Supernatural was real; he was merely riding the trend to make a quick buck.

But the man standing before him right now—if he was not Supernatural, then what was he? This was the genuine, undeniable Advent of the Supernatural!

Time and space paused, the world completely frozen—this had already surpassed the very limits of his comprehension regarding the mystical!

"You are an Archbishop of the Solomon Cult, yet you do not know who I am?" the aristocratic man replied with great interest upon hearing the question. "You even issued us the grand Mission of destroying the world!"

Hearing those words, He Sai was completely dumbfounded!

'What is going on? Did my reckless boasting actually summon a real Demon God to my doorstep?'

"Then you are..." He Sai was entirely paralyzed by fear. It was one thing to have him preach about Demon Gods and King Solomon, but to actually have him come face-to-face with a murderous Demon God who killed without blinking made his heart pound with dread!

"As an Archbishop, you do not know who I am?" The aristocratic man's expression suddenly shifted, revealing a look of pure anger. "I will give you some time to think. If you cannot give me an answer, then you shall become a part of my Sands of Time and Space!"

These cold, murder-laced words made He Sai tremble violently from head to toe!

This was a true Demon God—killing was just a thought away. He looked at the Hourglass with a sliver of hope. The sand was almost finished flowing. Did that mean the Time Stop was about to end as well?

He Sai felt as if he could almost hear the cheers of those people again, as well as the clamor of Vehicles and crowds outside!

'As long as time resumes, everything should be fine, right?'

'Once that happens, I should have a chance to escape, shouldn't I?'

'I just made a fortune, I have no desire to play games of life and death!'

As if noticing He Sai's gaze, the aristocratic man unhurriedly picked up the Hourglass in his hand and, under He Sai's utterly despairing stare, flipped it upside down.

"The countdown begins!"

The flowing sand emitted a tranquil trickling sound, yet to He Sai's ears, it was no different from a melody of death!

This was not some ordinary murderer, but a genuine Demon God straight out of Myths and Legends!

Among the seventy-two Pillar Demons, there were obscure and weak ones, but there was certainly no shortage of unique Great Demon Gods. There was even a Demon King among them. If a being like that said they were going to kill him, they definitely would not give him any chance to survive!

Therefore, he stopped trying to think of ways to escape. Instead, he silently closed his eyes and began to analyze the information he currently knew in order to deduce the true origins of this Demon God.

For the sake of his own little life, he put in an unprecedented amount of effort.

"A noble, an hourglass, time, volatile emotions, and what seems to be control over space..." He Sai murmured, deeply pondering over these clues.

This was no longer a time for trickery; it was a desperate search for a single thread of survival!

Very quickly, he opened his eyes, an answer already forming within them!

'This image, this personality, this kind of manipulative power... It's very similar... Truly very similar...'

"You are... Crown Gaap, aren't you?" Finally, as if exhausting every last ounce of his strength, He Sai delivered his answer!

"Gaap"
