Frieren: I Reject My Humanity!

Fíliya a human mage who calls herself a "Demon Race Enthusiast," is a once-in-a-generation eccentric among humans, and also the human that Frieren understands the least.

Frieren couldn't comprehend why this human, whose kill count of demons was second only to her own, would call herself a "Demon Race Enthusiast."

"Because I deeply love the demon race. Haven't I already dedicated all my energy and youth to helping them evolve?" she replied.

"It's impossible for humans and demons to coexist peacefully. Haven't you realized that yet?"

"Yes, of course I know... But Frieren, if there were a king who was powerful enough, cruel enough, and also rational enough—one who deeply understands the nature of demons and is also well-versed in human emotions. Under the dictatorship of such a 'Wise King,' would it be possible for demons and humans to coexist? ...I'm very curious."

"Impossible," Frieren answered decisively. "The demon race could never give birth to such an existence. Where would you even find this 'King' you're hoping for?"
