Chapter 466 Say You Love Me (12)
Getting teased and then scolded, Qiao Mo really felt utterly wronged. After finishing a meal, Qiao Mo felt she could never look at noodles the same way again; they were what she excelled at, convenient and tasty.
After dinner, before Fu Nancheng could speak.
To avoid him, Qiao Mo ran to the kitchen alone to wash the dishes.
As she washed, she mumbled to herself.
"Shameless!
Absolutely the most shameless person in the world!
Despicable, dirty, vulgar!"
But just as she was cursing, the kitchen door opened again; Nancheng walked in familiarly, even more casually than in his own home.
"Why are you back again?" Qiao Mo turned and glared at him.
"Don’t say it like that... It makes me think dirty." His expression was calm, but his words were overwhelmingly suggestive.
Qiao Mo froze for a moment, wishing she could slap her own face. She decided not to talk to him anymore.
"I’ll wash," he said, reaching out to take the bowl from her, sending her away.
Qiao Mo stepped aside and watched him absentmindedly. Until he finished, she still hadn’t returned to her senses...
Nancheng washed his hands, then walked over to her, pinching her cheek gently.
Only after leaving two fingerprints on her fair face, like cinnabar spreading in water, did he stop, satisfied.
Qiao Mo frowned, rubbing her cheek unhappily, following him out.
"Fu Nancheng... We’ve finished eating... You should leave."
He turned and sat on the sofa, turned on the TV, making himself comfortable, completely ignoring her.
Qiao Mo couldn’t help but block his way: "It’s already ten thirty... You promised not to sleep here..."
"Throwing me out in the middle of the night, you’re so heartless."
"You... You better go, or this bed isn’t big enough anyway." Qiao Mo spoke again.
He raised an eyebrow: "Tomorrow I’ll have someone bring a bigger bed."
Qiao Mo gritted her teeth in frustration, realizing he always found loopholes in her words.
Glaring at him, she sighed inwardly: "Brains aren’t for nothing..."
Unable to argue with him, she sat beside him, watching TV together.
Until nearly eleven o’clock, Qiao Mo started yawning, hugging a pillow, nodding off, tears from exhaustion constantly streaming down.
He turned to look at her, a subtle smile grazing his lips.
Finding it amusing, he stopped watching TV, instead kept gazing at her, occasionally smiling lightly.
After nodding off for the Nth time, Qiao Mo swallowed, opened her sleepy eyes, looking at him in confusion.
"Tired?" he asked gently.
"Yeah."
Fu Nancheng scooped her up in his arms, carried her to the bedroom, placing her on the large bed.
His movement woke her up a bit, making her less sleepy.
After placing her on the bed, he lay down beside her.
Qiao Mo nestled in his arms, opened her eyes, worrying softly: "You promised not to stay here..."
He kissed her forehead gently: "Yeah, I’ll leave when you fall asleep."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
She blinked her big, watery eyes at him, quietly observing him.
Nancheng gently kissed her hair, whispering in her ear: "In the future, don’t make noodles for anyone else to eat..."
Qiao Mo’s face instantly flushed; she buried her head in his chest pretending to be dead, refusing to lift it.
Really... never can face noodles again...
What should she do? This bad guy...
