Saying that, he took off his jacket as well and turned back into the bedroom.
Qiao Mo watched him with red eyes, seeing him indeed return to the bedroom, she was stunned for a moment.
After a while, the sound from the television in the bedroom grew louder.

Standing at the door, she joined him in watching the movie, but couldn’t stop her mind from wandering.
After more than ten minutes, Fu Nancheng glanced up at her and spoke in a low voice: "Doesn’t standing make you tired?"

Qiao Mo responded, shuffling in her slippers to sit down on the side of the sofa.
The night was dark as water, and after an hour, the movie still hadn’t ended. Qiao Mo curled up on the sofa and was already half-asleep.
He hadn’t been around for the past few days, and there had been no word from him.
She hadn’t been sleeping well at all.
But at this moment, she drifted off into a drowsy slumber.

He gently picked her up and placed her back in bed.
