Chapter 241: Hate me, I Give You Reason to Hate (12)
Fu Nancheng’s face immediately turned dark, his black eyes tightly locking onto the woman in front of him.But Qiao Mo just laughed, her smile radiant and dazzling.
Suddenly, the force with which Fu Nancheng grasped her arm lightened a bit, and his thin lips parted slightly: "Do you still like him?"
Qiao Mo looked at him mockingly, chuckling softly: "Like him? Of course, why wouldn’t I? He’s gentle, considerate, young, and talented. Why wouldn’t I like him?"
His phoenix eyes slightly narrowed as he slowly curled his lips: "Really? He’s lying on a hospital bed now, unable to move, and you still like him that much?"
Qiao Mo was momentarily stunned, her smile froze on her face.
She couldn’t laugh anymore.
"What did you say?"
A trace of cruelty flashed in his gaze, and he laughed lightly: "Don’t you like him? Do you like him because he can sing? Or because he can paint? Or... just because of his face."
Qiao Mo looked at him with reddened eyes, clenching her teeth tightly.
He leaned in slightly, whispering close to her ear.
As he spoke, it tickled her ear.
His tone was light, but his words were utterly merciless: "Whatever you like, I will destroy."
"And one day, when he can’t sing, can’t walk, can’t even speak... do you think you’d still like him?"
"Fu Nancheng! You’re a madman!" Qiao Mo’s eyes turned red, a flash of fear crossing through them.
He chuckled lightly, his fingers gently brushing her chin: "Yes, I am a madman!"
A madman who only wants you!
Qiao Mo’s heart trembled lightly.
Yes, he was a madman. How could she ever win against him?
"Who you like is your business, but as long as I’m alive, you won’t escape me; otherwise, I’m not Fu Nancheng!" he spoke with a cold laugh, his eyes filled with an obsessive madness.
In the end, Qiao Mo lowered her eyes, speaking wearily: "The call was from a lawyer; my father was injured in a fight in prison."
His phoenix eyes slightly narrowed, sneering coldly.
Was she only willing to explain it to him because of Jiang Jinghao?
He raised his hand again to pinch her chin. Qiao Mo winced in pain and instinctively opened her eyes, falling into his deep, ocean-like black gaze, momentarily dazed.
"Listen to me carefully. I never want to hear Jiang Jinghao’s name again. Either erase him from your mouth, or I’ll erase him from this world."
With those words, he finally let go and turned to leave.
Qiao Mo slowly slid down the wall, sitting in the corner, somewhat dazed.

Two hours later, Qiao Mo and Fu Nancheng were sitting in a black Bentley.
The car was heading towards North City Prison.
The two were silent the entire trip, the car’s interior eerily tense in the silence.
Qiao Mo turned her head to look out the window until, over twenty minutes later, she saw a pharmacy and broke the silence: "Stop the car."
The driver glanced at Fu Nancheng through the rearview mirror, and seeing that he didn’t stop them, he pulled over.
Qiao Mo didn’t explain, getting out of the car and heading straight for the pharmacy.
He watched her back without saying a word, his lips tightly pressed together.
"Do you have any contraceptives?" she asked quietly upon entering the pharmacy.
"Has it been more than twenty-four hours?"
"No."
A few minutes later, she left the pharmacy and went to the convenience store next door.
Through the car window, he could see her slightly tilting her head back inside the convenience store as she drank some water and swallowed a pill.
His large hand resting beside him gradually tightened, the veins on his pale hand becoming more pronounced.
Before long, Qiao Mo walked back slowly.
Fu Nancheng averted his gaze, looking out the window, clenching his molars as if trying to suppress something.
Qiao Mo glanced at him indifferently, shut the car door, and remained silent.
