Flash Marriage: She becomes Mrs. CEO after the Failed Dowry Talk

Chapter 665: Burst-of-Juice Blueberries

Chapter 665: Burst-of-Juice Blueberries

Nora Northwood shifted her position, pushing herself slowly toward Jasper Sinclair.

She raised her arm, half-resting on the marble edge of the pool.

The coolness of the marble counteracted the hot spring water’s heat on her.

Upon closer inspection, a mist had settled on her curled lashes.

Jasper Sinclair took a sip of white wine, then placed the glass on the coffee table and walked toward the edge of the pool.

He said, "This place is nice, we’ll come often."

Nora made a regretful face, "It’s a pity, it’s too remote. Driving here takes two hours."

"Invest in one in the city center."

"Not worth it." Nora shook her head, making her wet hair sway.

"If you like it, even spending billions wouldn’t be a loss."

"You wicked capitalist!"

Her pink lips opened and closed, stirring endless thoughts in onlookers.

Jasper didn’t linger by her side for long, afraid he couldn’t resist pulling her out of the pool.

Approaching noon, Nora was sleepy, soaking in the pool, and didn’t want to move.

The water temperature slowly decreased, Jasper worried she’d fall asleep in there, picked up a clean bathrobe, and carried her horizontally out of the hot spring.

Nora was languid, like a pampered Persian cat. Jasper gently called her name, "Sleep in the room if you’re tired."

She didn’t want to get down, rubbed her head against Jasper’s chin, and coquettishly said, "Honey, carry me back."

The person addressed was most susceptible to her coquetry, how could he bear to let her walk back herself?

Surrounded by mist, the chill on Jasper was wrapped in warmth.

Back in the bedroom, the man buried his head to kiss the person in his arms, catching a faint scent of herbs.

He disliked the constraints on her chest, a few fingers deftly pulled at them, making the swimsuit immediately loose.

His thin lips traveled downwards, and the person in his arms finally opened her eyes, with a slight furrow in her brow, showing a touch of bitterness.

"I’m so sleepy, nap with me, will you?" Nora spoke, her voice filled with sweet charm.

"Okay, let’s nap for a while."

Jasper wrapped her in the blanket.

He originally lived in the cold of December until Nora brought warmth to him.

He reached out, smoothing Nora’s hair.

This place doesn’t compare in size to Crimson Hill Villa, nor is the bedroom as spacious as at home.

The floor-to-ceiling windows were covered with several layers of sheer fabric, partially concealing the scenery, yet the lingering mist remained.

The two lingered at the hotel for a few days, generally happy during their stay.

Perhaps due to the added herbs in the hot spring, Nora felt more energized than usual.

An attendant delivered a fruit platter for them, and Nora casually picked through it, piercing a blueberry with a sharp fork.

She bit into it, and the tangy-sweet juice burst between her teeth, "Jasper, the blueberry is sweet, try one."

Jasper obediently leaned forward, opening his mouth, waiting for Nora to feed him.

This scene fell into the sight of Jenson Sinclair not far away.

With hands in his pockets, he knew full well these two weren’t pleased with him, yet he insisted on sitting over, "Cousin, cousin-in-law, your relationship is truly enviable among the circle."

Seeing him approach, Nora toned down slightly and smiled, "You can ask Auntie to find out if there’s a suitable girl."

"I hope to meet someone like cousin-in-law."

Jenson’s words carried a deeper meaning, which everyone understood.

Now, it was Jasper’s turn to be unhappy, as it was too brazen right under his nose.
