The trip to Singapore, combined with the weekend, gave Nora Northwood nearly a week without appearing at VK.

When she returned to work, the pile of documents on her desk was as wide as half a palm, not counting the electronic versions.

Yvonne Winslow teased her, "Big boss, planning on going again next time?"

"I wouldn’t dare go again."

Jokes aside, she had to return to work.

"I’ve reduced several unnecessary agendas from your schedule this week. Please take a look and see if any further adjustments are needed," Yvonne asked while handing the iPad to the person before her.

Nora glanced over it briefly and noticed Yvonne had left her a day’s buffer.

When she returned the iPad, she said there was no problem.

Before Yvonne left, she helped open a window in the office to ensure fresh air circulation.

Soon, the room returned to tranquility.

Nora first handled some of the backlog of documents, with Yvonne having marked different colors of sticky notes based on urgency.

By ten o’clock, she felt her brain was about to wander off.

So she temporarily put aside her work and took a stroll to the fragrance blending room.

As soon as the door opened, a strong scent hit her, with thousands of fragrances mixed together, certainly not pleasant.

She wore a medical mask to continue walking inside, stopping at the fragrance blending counter.

Inspired by the Singapore trip insights, Nora fiddled with various colorful bottles of fragrance for a while.

She set a forty-minute alarm, as there would be a department meeting she needed to attend later.

During the fragrance blending, Nora was too engrossed, causing the alarm to vibrate twice before she realized.

When she appeared in the meeting room, Megan Underwood was contemplating whether to have someone call her.

Seeing her arrive, she solemnly called, "Director Nora, a seat has been saved for you."
