The time added up to less than an hour, and without a work badge, the security personnel wouldn’t let her in.

Nora Northwood couldn’t speak French, and the few words of English she spoke weren’t clear enough, so the other party couldn’t understand.

She flipped through her photo album and found a picture of Jasper Sinclair, trying to persuade the security personnel.

The security personnel saw that Nora was indeed with Director Sinclair and quickly came over to apologize.

Jasper didn’t say much, just waved his hand, signaling they could leave.

"Nora, you met your friend."

"Where’s Bailey?"

"She received an urgent work message and needed to handle it, so I let her go deal with it."

The man’s tone returned to calmness, "For the following week, we will stay in France, and her only task is to make you happy."

Nora was choked up; she didn’t want Bailey to suffer because of her, "I’ll go find her now, you go attend the meeting."

"There are forty minutes left, wait for me obediently."

Jasper was very precise with time. When he appeared before Nora once more, it was precisely forty minutes later, not a minute more, not a minute less.

Bailey, from Nora’s mouth, heard about what happened earlier and admitted her mistake: "Director Sinclair, sorry, it’s my fault for not taking good care of Madam. I am willing to accept any punishment."

Bailey thought she had angered the young director.

Unexpectedly, Jasper merely said lightly, "Let it not happen again."
