Chapter 831 - 830: Willing to Do Anything for Gerry Peary

After tucking the servant in, she finally breathed a sigh of relief. She couldn’t stay here any longer, so she connected the bedsheets and climbed down from the window.

Dressed in the servant’s clothes, she found it much more convenient to reach the ship.

"Stop, is this somewhere you can come?"

Shirley Grant paused in surprise, stopping nervously.

"The butler sent me to find the captain."

Shirley Grant told herself not to panic, and thus spoke with complete composure.

"Find the captain?"

The man clearly didn’t believe her, but he didn’t dare directly refuse either.

"Wait here, I’ll go report and check."

Shirley Grant bit her lip tightly, her head slightly lowered, not relaxing for a moment.

Standing here might attract the villa residents’ attention, so even if she had to outsmart the captain, she had to hurry inside the ship.

"Let me go with you; the captain is so busy, asking him to come out would just hinder his work. Besides, it utterly wastes my time too."

Shirley Grant spoke with arrogance, implying that she had a high status.

The man hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

This servant spoke so confidently, perhaps she was of not-so-low status.

If he angered her, it wouldn’t be worth it.

"The captain is just inside here."

As he spoke, the man knocked on one of the doors, and soon a man’s voice could be heard from inside.

"Come in."

It was a voice full of vigor, easily letting one deduce it belonged to a burly man.

Sure enough, as soon as she entered, Shirley Grant was startled by the man before her.

Massive stature, nearly a height of one-ninety meters, and a face as dark as dusk.

"Who are you?"

The captain frowned as he looked at Shirley Grant in maid attire and asked with clumsy Chinese.

"Sent by the butler."

After saying that, the guide left.

Shirley Grant stood there, calmly looking at the captain.

"What business?"

The captain furrowed his brow, carefully scrutinizing Shirley Grant.

Helplessly, he suffered from face blindness, seeing all Asians as the same.

Shirley Grant squeezed her eyes shut, taking slow, deep breaths.

"The butler wants you to sail away now, to prevent that woman inside the Villa from boarding."

The captain was somewhat incredulous.

"With so many people onboard, how could that woman get onboard? The butler is ridiculous; I’ll call him and give him an earful."

Saying this, the captain whipped out his phone.

"Wait!"

Shirley Grant spoke out in panic, terrified he’d really make the call.

"Hm?"

The captain looked at the agitated Shirley Grant in confusion, his brow furrowed.

"The butler received a notice, which is why he sent me to inform you. If you call him now, wouldn’t that mean I didn’t fulfill my job?"

Shirley Grant couldn’t hide her anxiety and just continued in anxiousness.

A servant trying to keep her job, in such a moment, this emotion seemed reasonable enough.

After listening to Shirley Grant, the captain nodded, showing understanding.

"Since it’s the butler’s instruction, let’s set sail then."

Saying that, the captain issued commands on the walkie-talkie.

After hearing his command, Shirley Grant nodded.

"Then I’ll be leaving."

After saying that, she turned and left, pushing open the door to the captain’s Office Room.

Outside, the man who guided her was still standing there, expressionless as he watched Shirley Grant exit.

"Let’s go, I’ll escort you off the ship."
