Chapter 125 - 105: Born to Be a Furnace Vessel (Part 2)

Ji Lingruo, already anticipating her sister’s question, retorted, "Other men may not be able, but that doesn’t mean my senior brother can’t."

Ji Xueruo was still skeptical, but the knowledgeable Ms Liou, aware of the unusual nature of this young man, was the first to ask:

"Second Miss, does your senior brother... perhaps have some special constitution?"

"Ms Liou, you truly have seen it all." Ji Lingruo walked to the tea table with a cheerful smile, poured herself a cup of water, and took a couple of sips. Her unruffled demeanor left Ji Xueruo perplexed.

"Second Miss, what kind of constitution does your senior brother have?"

When Ms Liou accompanied Ji Lingruo on the return journey, she inquired about You Su, but Ji Lingruo remained tight-lipped, saying she would discuss it after reuniting with her sister. Looking back now, it was clear this was a secretive matter of great importance. She thought to herself, no wonder; if it weren’t for some special constitution, why would the Lotus Sword Venerable take that young man as a disciple?

Ji Lingruo put down the teacup, her expression turning serious: "I can tell you, but you must promise me, you won’t tell anyone else!"

Ji Xueruo furrowed her brows, "Are you really not just bluffing?"

"Eldest Miss." Ms Liou gently called out to the doubtful young clan leader, shaking her head at her, then with a wave of her hand, she enveloped the small room in an invisible barrier, and said to Ji Lingruo:

"Second Miss, unless a Venerable at the Upper Void Realm is eavesdropping, no one can hear our conversation through this barrier. You can speak freely, and I will keep the secret."

"What about my sister?"

"I won’t speak of it either." Ji Xueruo, not yet having connected the dots with Ms Liou who seemed to know something, could only infer from her solemn expression that her sister was likely not lying.

Ji Lingruo nodded, walked toward the two of them with her hands behind her back, glanced around, and then whispered:

"My senior brother, possesses the Heavenly Furnace constitution..."

"Heavenly Furnace constitution?" Ji Xueruo and Ms Liou echoed, unable to find any information related to this constitution in their memories.

"See, you’re just ignorant, aren’t you?"

Ji Lingruo shook her head with a serious air, thinking to herself it was no wonder they hadn’t heard of it, since she had only borrowed the term from the stories her senior brother told earlier. It would be troublesome if it happened to truly exist.

"What kind of constitution is that?" Ji Xueruo’s expression became serious.

"As the name suggests, Heavenly Furnace, born as a furnace." Ji Lingruo boasted, as if introducing her family’s treasure, "This constitution is extremely rare. Those with it are best suited for becoming a dual cultivation furnace, achieving twice the results with half the effort! Don’t be fooled by how the Human Race disparages the Dual Cultivation Skill; in reality, they practice it secretly. Historically, those with this constitution would become the playthings of influential figures, so it’s normal you’re unaware."

"Then how did you know?" Ji Xueruo squinted her eyes.

Ji Lingruo helplessly glanced at her sister and said, "I was studying this during my three years in the Zhongyuan Continent!"

?

"Ji Lingruo, be more specific, what exactly were you studying?"

"Ahem ahem." Ji Lingruo sensed the icy tone of her sister, reluctantly saying, "Swordsmanship."

Ji Xueruo continued to stare at her, while Ji Lingruo avoided her gaze, not daring to make eye contact.

"But our Sword Sect does teach some other things... Ms Liou should know, I stayed in a sect for three years called the Mandarin Duck Sword Sect, though that’s not its full name."

"Second Miss, what is the full name?"

"It’s called, Heaven and Earth... Yin-Yang Bliss Mandarin Duck Sword Sect!"

Those four words, ’Yin-Yang Bliss,’ Ji Lingruo could hardly say fast enough, yet Ji Xueruo heard them clearly, focused as she was.

"You stayed in the Zhongyuan Continent for three years, and I thought you truly wanted to learn arts to best me, but to my surprise, you actually spent three years studying Dual Cultivation Skills?!"

Ji Xueruo was infuriated, wanting to give this silly sister a good whack.

Seeing her sister, like those self-righteous Human Race cultivators, looking down on the Dual Cultivation Skill, Ji Lingruo felt dismissed herself. She straightened up, emphasizing her developed figure, and retorted:

"What’s wrong with the Dual Cultivation Skill? Without it, where would I get this Demon Pill? Without it, how could I have transformed from a Meridian Disorder waste into the Spirit Platform Realm? If I don’t cultivate, will you find me a new Demon Pill?"

As she spoke, Ji Lingruo edged closer to her sister defiantly, and by the end of it, the soft fullness of their chests pressed tightly against each other, both deformed from the pressure.

Their appearances were identical, their figures similar since childhood, and now as they compared, Ji Xueruo found herself surprisingly inferior to her sister! Unwillingly, her momentum slipped, and she retreated a step, saying quietly, "We’ll settle this later; first, tell me clearly how you got this Demon Pill!"

Ji Lingruo glanced at her sister with a victorious smirk before saying, "A furnace, after all, is for refining medicine and forming pills. A person with the Heavenly Furnace constitution carries within their body an essence of this world as a medicinal material."

Ms Liou’s eyes twinkled with understanding as she spoke, "Second Miss, do you mean the Primordial Yang of a Heavenly Furnace male and the Primordial Yin of a Heavenly Furnace female?"

"Ms Liou, you understand." Ji Lingruo lightly praised, making the elderly woman with her pine-like and crane-like demeanor appear a bit unnatural.

"This Demon Pill of mine was formed after refining my senior brother’s Primordial Yang, enabling me to break through from the Middle Meridian Realm to the Initial Spirit Platform Realm overnight."

Ms Liou gasped at this, for she had indeed heard of the saying that Primordial Yang and Primordial Yin were wondrous supplements. If the Primordial Yang of a Heavenly Furnace could facilitate the regeneration of a Demon Pill, it wasn’t surprising. If true, this truly was a monumental gain for the Second Miss!
