Fairy Wangshu had already stepped towards the courtyard ahead, and You Su quickly followed.

Hearing this, You Su smiled indifferently.

The closer they got to the courtyard, the more one could feel the intense Profound Qi within, almost like water, flowing around them like a gentle hand brushing against their body, bringing a mysterious and subtle sensation.

The courtyard had no walls or entrance sign, just four simple wooden huts. Apart from a peach tree planted in the center, there was nothing else noteworthy. Under the peach tree, a fairy in a white dress, with a mature yet cool demeanor, stood waiting gracefully.

The two greeted her respectively.

He Shutong nodded in response, "I remember you once said you obtained the learning qualification given by the Divine Mountain’s Immortal Master."

This was, of course, said to You Su. You Su nodded. Although Gu Yao had already passed away, the certificate he bestowed was still there, sufficient to prove his qualification.

"The status of a learning disciple doesn’t suit you; from today, you are my True Disciple. From now on, do not call me Master, call me Master."

The latter part of the vow was left unsaid, as You Su knew Master’s trust in him meant he would never commit such acts, and so he was unwilling to continue saying it. He suddenly raised his head, and paid another more solemn salute, saying:

"Once a teacher, forever a mother! This disciple will honor and respect my Master, please accept me!"

The Lotus Sword Venerable looked at You Su, who was performing the formal salute, and for the first time, a faint smile appeared on her icy face, like the melting of spring snow.

She felt relieved in her heart; she wished to compensate You Su and finally took him as her disciple.

And upon hearing You Su’s words, "Once a teacher, forever a mother," her heart felt warmed, realizing the word "mother" was too great a title, and she had much more to learn. In treating her disciple, she knew she needed to learn to genuinely care.
