He had noticed Lin Jie’s glances and was unaffected by her skepticism. This was his moment to demonstrate his sincerity, just as the script had planned. "I told you I’ve forgiven you. Doing this is pointless. I accept your apology, but you should take these flowers back. I don’t want them.
