Extreme Almightiest Young Master

Chapter 675: An Old and a Young Person

Chapter 675: An Old and a Young Person

For Sun Jian, even if something happened to him, he absolutely couldn’t let anything happen to Su Xiaoxi; otherwise, everything he had would turn to ashes! So since he received the news last night, he sat in the limousine and went to the police station’s entrance, not settling down until he saw Su Xiaoxi safe and sound with his own eyes. He hadn’t expected the wait to last until dawn, but after seeing Su Xiaoxi really come out and get in the car, Sun Jian’s hanging heart finally returned to its place, and he couldn’t help but utter a sigh of relief, thanking his lucky stars that nothing happened. Otherwise, the consequences were unimaginable.

Turning his head and seeing the numerous bodyguards inside the limousine, Sun Jian couldn’t hold back anymore and began to scold them furiously, thinking to himself how he had hired so many idiots who couldn’t even watch over one person, they were all ******* morons. Otherwise, how could something have happened to Su Xiaoxi last night...

"Boss, we were wrong..."

"Boss, we..."

"Boss, please forgive us."

...

The numerous bodyguards inside the limousine, upon hearing Sun Jian scolding them like this, all hung their heads as low as they could. What happened last night was indeed their fault; there was no question about it. With so many of them, to let Su Xiaoxi disappear was entirely on them. With this realization, they could only silently endure Sun Jian’s scolding, pleading for forgiveness with their words.

However, deep down, they all felt extremely frustrated. These men were professional bodyguards, and they had never encountered such an incident before. They could not fathom how someone could have disappeared under their watch without a trace. Such an event, logically, should not have happened. Yet, since it had happened, it meant that the person who made the move must have been an extremely skilled expert, for no one else could have managed such a feat. Under these circumstances, they felt they couldn’t really be blamed...

......

After he had scolded the bodyguards enough, Sun Jian finally shooed them off the limousine.

"You all ******* pay attention and never let Miss Su out of your sight. Otherwise, you can all ******* get lost!" Sun Jian yelled at the group standing below from inside the vehicle, scolding them once more before he let his secretary close the car door and then drove directly to Su Xiaoxi’s residence, planning to comfort her properly. After all, Su Xiaoxi had been frightened all night, and it was only right for him as the boss to take care of her.

The bodyguards watched the departing vehicle, shaking their heads helplessly, and got into their own cars to follow behind the stretched limousine...

About an hour later, the motorcade entered a villa complex and stopped beside a separate villa. This villa was rented by Sun Jian exclusively for Su Xiaoxi’s safety. Su Xiaoxi lived here usually, except for last night when she stayed at a hotel due to unforeseen circumstances.

"Xiao Xi, don’t dwell on last night’s incident; it’s those bodyguards’ fault. I’ve already given them a piece of my mind, so don’t be upset," said Sun Jian as he entered the villa and immediately saw Su Xiaoxi sitting on the sofa, looking downcast. Thinking that Su Xiaoxi was still angry about last night’s event, he quickly went to comfort her.

"Uncle Sun, it’s alright. Thankfully, someone rescued me last night, or I can’t even bear to think of the outcomes," Su Xiaoxi said with tears welling up in her eyes upon seeing Sun Jian. She knew that this matter was not Sun Jian’s fault, and all these years, she had seen for herself the protection Sun Jian had provided her. However, after experiencing what happened last night, any girl would have been scared. To think that if it weren’t for the young man who rescued her, she might have been filmed in explicit scenes and forced to sign a contract with Jones Corporation—her heart was still trembling at the thought.

"This was truly an unexpected event; no one could have predicted that something like this would happen. I’ve already ordered that, from now on, the bodyguards won’t leave your side even for a moment, ensuring your safety. However, Xiao Xi, can you tell me exactly what happened last night?"

Seeing Su Xiaoxi’s state, Sun Jian knew she was truly frightened by the events of the previous night. He promptly assured her about the bodyguards, hoping to help Su Xiaoxi feel secure about her work. However, Sun Jian couldn’t help but ask. He desperately wanted to know exactly what had happened, and if it weren’t for his status as the head of an entertainment company, he might have barged into the police station to find out the specifics last night.

"I don’t know myself. I just went to the restroom for a moment; as soon as I came out, I passed out. When I came to... that’s how things were. Uncle Sun, can you help me find that young man who saved me? I want to thank him personally." Su Xiaoxi didn’t conceal anything and gave a detailed account of the previous night’s events. However, as she spoke, her heart was filled with the image of the young man who seemed so indifferent to everything. Now, she desperately wanted to know who he was.

"So that’s what happened. I hadn’t expected Jones Corporation to do such a thing. Now that we know, we just need to be on guard in the future. As for that impressive young man, I’ll do my best to look into it. If possible, I will find him for you," Sun Jian responded after hearing the entire story from Su Xiaoxi. His face turned grim with anger; Jones Corporation might be a renowned foreign entertainment company, but it had a terrible reputation. Almost everyone in the industry knew about it, yet Sun Jian had never imagined that they would target Su Xiaoxi and commit such despicable and shameless acts. This sent Sun Jian into a fury, but such a big company as Jones Corporation was not something he could handle on his own. The only thing to do now was to ensure Su Xiaoxi’s safety in the days to come as best as possible.

But as for the incredibly impressive young man that Su Xiaoxi mentioned, Sun Jian was very keen to find him too. The reason was straightforward: if he could find that young man, then Su Xiaoxi’s safety could be thoroughly secured. Anyone who could effortlessly rescue Su Xiaoxi amid so many people must be extraordinarily skilled, far more so than a group of bodyguards. No matter the cost, he had to find him to serve as Su Xiaoxi’s bodyguard. As long as Su Xiaoxi was safe, his Tianxing Entertainment Company would be secure.

Thinking of this, Sun Jian immediately agreed to Su Xiaoxi’s request and prepared to arrange for someone to investigate as soon as he left. He was determined to find this young man no matter what.

"Xiao Xi, do you have any other requests?"

"Nothing else, Uncle Sun."

"Xiao Xi, don’t be mad at your uncle. As a star, you absolutely cannot let any incidents leak out. You have to forgive Uncle Sun for not pursuing Yang Guo."

"Uncle Sun, I understand. I’ve also asked the police chief to keep the matter under wraps."

"That’s good. Xiao Xi, you don’t need to worry about your safety anymore. You’ll never have to appear in other places again."

"Hmm."

...

Changing the subject, Sun Jian tried his best to comfort Su Xiaoxi, hoping to help her quickly overcome her shadows and prepare for the upcoming concert. Su Xiaoxi, though responding half-heartedly, knew that Sun Jian truly had her best interests at heart. However, Su Xiaoxi’s mind was not at all focused on these things at the moment. Later, after she mentioned that she was tired and wanted to rest, Sun Jian reluctantly left the villa.

No sooner had Sun Jian left than the entire villa fell silent.

But Su Xiaoxi’s heart was far from quiet. Right now, her heart was entirely filled with images of the young man who had saved her, his indifferent temperament, his cool speech, his impressive skills, his handsome...

Unwittingly, Lin Feng’s shadow had filled Su Xiaoxi’s heart, leaving her feeling bewildered. Yet, she liked this sensation and was very much looking forward to seeing the young man who saved her again...

......

At ten o’clock in the morning, just as Lin Feng was about to start class, he received another call from Leng Hao.

"Hello, Brother Lin, my master and I have arrived at Tianhai Airport. What now?" Leng Hao burst with excitement while asking Lin Feng upon calling. It was his first time in Tianhai and he didn’t know the way around, so he called Lin Feng right after getting off the plane, hoping Lin Feng could arrange the next steps.

"Oh, is that so? Just wait at the exit; I’ll send someone to pick you up." Lin Feng, hearing that Leng Hao had arrived at the airport, quickly responded. He was aware they were taking an early flight, but did not expect them to arrive so soon. Now, he urgently needed to arrange for someone to pick them up. He had previously learned from chatting with Leng Mei that, apart from around Capital City, Leng Hao had never been elsewhere. Since Leng Hao had called, it made sense to have Zhu Tao go pick them up.

"All right." Leng Hao, excited by Lin Feng’s response, quickly agreed to wait. Now that Brother Lin was sending someone, there was no need for him to hail a taxi to Yingbo University.

"Wait there, then." Lin Feng said, and then hung up the phone before dialing Zhu Tao’s number.

"Old Zhu, can you drive?" Lin Feng asked. Having been always in the Golden Triangle, he was unsure whether Zhu Tao knew how to drive.

"Yes, Young Master. Is there something you need?" Zhu Tao, upon being asked by Lin Feng if he could drive, was momentarily puzzled. He wondered why the young master was suddenly asking him this question. Could it be that he was supposed to drive somewhere for an errand? He had driven before in the Golden Triangle, just passing time and having a bit of fun. He knew how to handle a regular car.

"Here’s the deal: drive to the airport and pick up two people, one old, one young. They’re Leng Mei’s brother Leng Hao and his mentor. Afterwards, take them to Songyuan Villa first. You’ve been to both places, no problem, right?" Lin Feng thought that familiar grounds like Songyuan Villa would be convenient for handling matters on Wan Long’s territory. It would be less convenient to arrange for Leng Hao and his mentor to stay at a hotel. Considering how his mentor was an S-class expert, he likely would not enjoy the noise of the city; Songyuan Villa would probably suit them better.
