Extreme Almightiest Young Master

Chapter 399: I am Lin Feng

Chapter 399: I am Lin Feng

"I need to go somewhere else tonight; it’s not convenient to take you with me. Go back to the office to sleep, don’t go home. It’s safer there, and you have your luggage there, right? If not, find a hotel to stay in. Just don’t go home today."

Lin Feng directly stopped Ding Wan’er, then gently caressed her flushed face as he spoke. Unless something unexpected happened, Li Zerui was still waiting for him. It wouldn’t be good to take Wan’er with him in case they encountered danger. Moreover, he didn’t want her to see certain things. Thinking of this, Lin Feng decided to let Wan’er stay at Yingbo University for the night for her safety. Her home was not safe today either, he feared that Li Zerui might have arranged for someone to be there as well. If he got involved in a fight with Li Zerui on this side, and someone abducted Wan’er from the other side, that would be troublesome.

So, for all the possible occurrences, Lin Feng felt he needed to be cautious.

"Okay, I’ll listen to you and stay at the school tonight. Be careful yourself." Ding Wan’er could vaguely sense that something was off. It was already strange that Lin Feng wasn’t going home at such a late hour, and even stranger that he wanted her to stay at the university. Could something be happening tonight?

But since Lin Feng asked her to do so, she would follow his instructions. Lin Feng always had a reason for what he did; it was all for her own good. Staying at the university wasn’t a problem, she just felt a bit worried about Lin Feng’s safety.

"Alright, take it easy, I’ll be fine. Go and rest, I’m heading out now." Lin Feng said as he got into his car, waving goodbye to Ding Wan’er, signaling her to rest, and started the car. After speaking, he pressed the throttle lightly, and his car disappeared into the night.

"Stay safe!" Ding Wan’er shouted again, then headed to the office as Lin Feng had instructed, once the car had completely vanished. Yet, she still felt a bit worried for Lin Feng.

...

As Lin Feng drove away from Yingbo University, he felt as if he were being watched by a snake. Shaking his head slightly, he accepted that the inevitable was happening. With that thought, he steered his car towards the suburbs, where fewer people were around. If a fight did break out, it wouldn’t cause too much of an uproar. Somehow, glancing at the faint moon above, Lin Feng had the sensation that it was the perfect night for murder.

Half an hour later, he had left the Tianhai city area and was heading towards the suburbs. Just when he was on a deserted stretch of road, he saw Li Zerui waiting for him in the distance, seemingly holding something in his hands.

Lin Feng saw Li Zerui and let out a cold laugh. As expected, Li Zerui was preparing to make his move tonight. In that case, it was better to deal with it sooner rather than later.

However, before Lin Feng could stop the car and teach Li Zerui a lesson, Li Zerui made his move. The four bowling ball-sized metal spheres in his hands flew towards Lin Feng’s car like cannonballs, as if intending to squash him inside the vehicle.

Seeing this, Lin Feng didn’t hesitate to leave the A7. With those iron balls hitting the car, it was sure to be destroyed. There was no sense in sitting there waiting to be hit. While he felt a bit sorry for the car—not for the money, but because it was a pleasant ride which now had to be scrapped—he jumped out.

"Snap!"

"Bang, bang, bang!"

The four metal balls struck, one hitting the windshield directly in front of the driver’s seat, shattering it, while the other three slammed into the front end of the car, obliterating everything under the hood.

After throwing the four metal balls, Li Zerui stood waiting for Lin Feng to come over. He knew that as a fellow AAA-class fighter, Lin Feng wouldn’t be hit by those balls. Destroying the car was simply to vent his fury. Once Lin Feng arrived, Li Zerui was determined to torture him thoroughly before killing him, to make Lin Feng realize the consequences of opposing him!

Since leaving the Li Family, Li Zerui was completely enraged. The only thing on his mind was to kill him today. Therefore, he had arranged for his subordinates to follow Lin Feng and keep reporting his location. Now, in Li Zerui’s mind, there was only one thought, and that was to kill Lin Feng!

Lin Feng jumped out of the car and, seeing Li Zerui’s furious expression in the distance, shook his head. If the young masters of the Prominent Families were all of this caliber, then the Li Family was no big deal. He didn’t give it much thought and casually walked towards Li Zerui, seeming leisurely, yet moving incredibly fast, as calm as the wind. In just a few steps, he traversed the tens of meters and stood before Li Zerui.

"Have you been waiting a long time?" Lin Feng looked at Li Zerui in front of him, guessing that he was probably furious enough to eat his heart. However, Lin Feng could understand Li Zerui’s feelings; any young master from a Prominent Family would be enraged by today’s events.

"I’ve been waiting a long time for you to die! It’s all ****** because of you that I lost face today and you took Ding Wan’er away from me, so I’ll kill you no matter what to vent this anger! I won’t rest until you’re dead!"

Li Zerui was grinding his teeth with hatred, wishing he could flay Lin Feng’s skin and pull out his bones. It was all due to Lin Feng’s interference that tonight’s birthday party for Wan’er had ended disastrously, due to Lin Feng’s appearance that he, the Young Master of the Li Family, had lost all dignity, and because of Lin Feng that he had lost Wan’er forever. So, he resolved to utterly brutalize Lin Feng until he was no longer recognizable as human or ghost!

Thinking this, Li Zerui’s True Qi began to circulate at full speed, readying himself to face off against Lin Feng.

"Then there’s nothing more to say, fight!" Lin Feng saw Li Zerui’s reaction and couldn’t help but chuckle. He was really too full of himself. Since it had come to this, it was time to give him a proper lesson and show him that there are always stronger people out there!

With that thought, Lin Feng had no intention of holding back. For someone like Li Zerui, the faster he was killed, the safer it would be. Who knows if there would be any accidents? Since he had already threatened him that night, Li Zerui had to die!

Suddenly, Lin Feng moved. With a loud thud, he cracked the concrete beneath his feet, leaving a pit nearly two meters wide, then shot towards Li Zerui like lightning. His palm, wrapped in pale golden True Qi, struck Li Zerui with the whistling sound of wind and the overwhelming momentum of a slap.

"Whoosh!"

Li Zerui, startled by Lin Feng’s sudden burst of speed, panicked. He knew Lin Feng was an AAA-class master but had not expected Lin Feng to be so fast. With that thought, Li Zerui instinctively raised his hands to block Lin Feng’s slap, but once he barely parried the blow, he was propelled away like a cannonball.

"Bang!"

"Swoosh..."

Li Zerui flew more than 20 meters in the air before he finally slammed heavily onto the ground!

"Thud!"

The ground formed a crater where Li Zerui smashed down, and he rolled out of it, kicking up a cloud of dust around him.

In midair, Li Zerui was dumbfounded. How could Lin Feng’s palm strike be so powerful? It was even more fearsome than a Fist Aura! How was this possible? If it wasn’t for his defensive True Qi, Lin Feng’s last strike would have killed him.

Li Zerui struggled to his feet, his mind overwhelmed with shock. This Lin Feng, despite appearing only in his early twenties, was definitely not weaker than himself and might even be stronger. Their brief exchange had already exposed his incredible strength!

Who... exactly is he? Li Zerui’s mind was reeling. There was no one this monstrously young in the four Prominent Families. He was the strongest of his generation within those families, and it was only with the Li Family’s full support that he had reached the peak of AAA-level. And yet, this Lin Feng, only in his twenties, exceeded even his younger self—how could this be possible!

Now, Li Zerui refused to believe there could be a younger person stronger than him. He was the absolute elite among all cultivators of his generation, a distinction that had accompanied him for many years, and he took great pride in it. To ensure no one could surpass him, Li Zerui had always strived to break through his limits, making cultivation his entire life, living like a hermit for over twenty years!

And yet Lin Feng could unleash such force with a single palm strike, he...

"Who are you?" Li Zerui lifted his head to look at Lin Feng, unable to contain his urge to learn Lin Feng’s true identity. He must have an extraordinary background, or otherwise, he couldn’t have reached such a level at such a young age.

"I am Lin Feng." Saying this, Lin Feng took a step and immediately, another two-meter wide pit formed underfoot. He rushed to Li Zerui’s side, faster than his previous strike, and this time, instead of using his palm, he punched out a Fist Aura, hurtling it viciously towards Li Zerui. In the air, a pale golden Fist Aura even caused ripples, thundering like the sound of roaring thunder.

"Bang!"

"Whoosh..."

Li Zerui, almost spitting blood in anger upon hearing Lin Feng’s words, had yet to learn his name was Lin Feng and had just asked about his identity. But before Li Zerui could speak again, he saw Lin Feng had already made his move—and it was even faster than before. Seeing the two Fist Auras Lin Feng had thrown at him, Li Zerui dared not be careless. He immediately started circulating his spell, following his will with his mind, and hurled two Fist Auras to meet Lin Feng’s.

"Bang!"

"Swoosh..."

In Li Zerui’s view, Fist Auras were the easiest to counteract; once two Fist Auras collided, they would completely vanish. All he needed to do now was prepare for Lin Feng’s close-ranged palm strikes, which were far more exaggerated than the Fist Auras. However, the reality was not as Li Zerui had expected. Lin Feng’s Fist Auras did not disappear along with Li Zerui’s, but instead, broke straight through them as if Li Zerui’s Fist Auras were made of cotton, and the pale golden Fist Aura continued to charge towards Li Zerui.
