Chapter 326 Li Daqi
Chapter 326 Li Daqi
Dressed in a set of grey casual clothes, Li Daqi had just arrived at Nairobi Airport in Kenya when he was ushered aside by several soldiers. He had seen the message sent by Max Dorrell just after disembarking the plane, so he followed these soldiers smoothly to a rather beautiful medium-sized helicopter. Then he boarded alone, took off in the helicopter, and headed straight for his destination, another small airport that wasn’t exactly close by.
After about an hour on the plane, Li Daqi was finally delivered to this small airport. The plane drove right inside the airport before coming to a halt, because everyone inside saw the national flag on the side of this medium helicopter, obviously recognizing it as one of their own.
After disembarking from the plane, Li Daqi immediately captured the attention of everyone present. It was odd for an Eastern person to appear at such an airport, but since he could ride in the General’s helicopter, it indicated he must have quite a good relationship with the General. They had never heard of the Generals lending a helicopter to a foreigner.
"Sir, may I ask if you need any help?" asked a rather bold African soldier. Noting that Li Daqi had come down from the General’s helicopter alone, he knew this must be an honored guest of the General and quickly came forward to inquire cautiously in his broken English.
"I need to go to the apron. Whatever happens, just pretend you didn’t see anything, understand?" Li Daqi said to the African officer, his voice calm and indifferent. As long as these people didn’t interfere with him, everything else would be easy to handle.
"Okay, understood. I will take my men back to the house right away to play cards," said the African officer before quickly calling his subordinates to return to a three-story building not too far away. Since this man had said so, he must have been authorized by the General. It was better not to ask too many questions and just do what was expected, to avoid any trouble that could spill over to him.
Seeing that everyone had left, Li Daqi slowly made his way toward the white small airplane parked on the apron.
"Who is he?"
"How is there a Chinese person here?"
"I didn’t hear there were other passengers!"
...
The agents from the country’s Special Operations Division on the airplane saw an Asian-looking person approaching and were extremely perplexed. In Kenya, Chinese people were almost nonexistent. Who was this sudden arrival, and what was he doing here? They had received no notice that there would be others taking this flight back home. What was going on?
Upon these considerations, Wang Ke, responsible for the flight, opened the plane’s door and stepped out to call out to Li Daqi, knowing it was best to be cautious under such unclear circumstances.
"Who are you? Step back now!" Wang Ke saw this person continue to approach the plane at a constant pace, and instantly felt something was wrong. Such behavior was too unconventional; no one would do such a thing without saying a word, this person must be up to something.
The moment Wang Ke thought there might be a problem, he immediately started to circulate his cultivation power. His strength at the early stage of the AA rank was instantly revealed, ready to kill the man if he took another step forward. The Boss had assigned him to guard the place; he had to ensure the plane’s safety no matter what and prevent this stranger, whoever he was, from touching the airplane.
Li Daqi, still not uttering a word, continued to walk forward as if he hadn’t heard what Wang Ke said.
"Whoever you are, stay away from here now, or else don’t blame me for not being polite!" Seeing the man in grey continue forward as though he hadn’t heard his warnings, Wang Ke resorted to speaking in English, while pushing his cultivation power to the limit. Having been on field missions for so long, he knew the world was filled with capable individuals; it was always better to be overly cautious. Using cannon-level force to swat a mosquito was never a mistake,
Li Daqi still paid no heed to Wang Ke who had come down from the plane, and kept walking toward the aircraft.
Not good!
Something was off!
This person was a problem!
...
The rest of the crew onboard became tense upon seeing the man in the grey clothes not stopping at the shout from Wang Ke. Accustomed to high alertness due to their fieldwork experiences, everyone there was a peak *** master, and with Wang Ke and Xu Daming being early-stage AA rank masters, the team’s strength was formidable. Yet there had been occasions where they still encountered danger.
So, when facing a potentially hazardous enemy, everyone prepared to exert their full power. With this thought, they hurried off the plane and took positions behind Wang Ke, circulating their power, ready to strike.
"Let’s all go together!" Seeing the man less than 20 meters away from the plane, still not stopping, Wang Ke realized he could not allow the man to come any closer. If something were to happen to the plane, how could he explain to the Director upon his return? With this thought, Wang Ke decisively gave the command to move, intent on capturing the man first and foremost.
The members of the National Special Operations Agency all survived life-and-death combats, so they never had the habit of holding back against enemies. Often working on missions together, their coordination with each other was extremely tacit; often a single glance was enough to know what to do.
A group of them swiftly surrounded Li Daqi. Then seven people, including Wang Ke, struck simultaneously. They unleashed various kicks and punches aimed at Li Daqi, attacking from high, mid, and low positions, each targeting a specific area with full force. Their goal was very clear: to take down the man before them and then capture him for interrogation.
Li Daqi, seeing that these people in front of him were finally making a move, was somewhat surprised. He really hadn’t expected to encounter a group of experts in Kenya and, judging by their manner, they were certainly above ***, Now, he was really curious about which power they belonged to. Such a collection of experts mobilizing together indicated that their force was not small! It seemed that the two individuals Max Dorrell mentioned must be departing from here, but in front of him, these forces were really not worth mentioning!
"What’s with all the nonsense, you guys aren’t even enough to get stuck between my teeth!" Li Daqi was annoyed by the people in front of him. As an AAA-grade middle-stage expert, there was no point in wasting words with them. With that said, he directly took action.
"Swoosh!"
"Bang!"
"Clang!"
...
Li Daqi moved like a whirlwind past everyone, with a sweep of his hand sending people flying. In the time it took to turn around, he had knocked all the members of the National Special Operations team to the ground like leaves in an autumn breeze, then walked into the plane, killed the two pilots, and came back outside. Looking at the people lying on the ground, he casually took out a cigar from his pocket, sat at the entrance of the plane, and started smoking, completely disregarding those around him.
If it weren’t for the gathering of so many experts, he might think they were from some influential group, and from their tone and demeanor just now, it seemed they might be from a government department. Having taken action, their moves were those of official techniques; otherwise, he would have killed them already. Now he was just waiting for the two individuals Max Dorrell mentioned to return; then he would kill them and leave. He really didn’t want to waste his time here; how nice it would be to be back at the headquarters with beautiful women for company!
Who is he?
How is he so formidable?
What level of expert is he really?
...
Wang Ke and the others lay on the ground, their faces filled with disbelief as they stared at Zhao Daqi. What level of expert was he, to have taken all of them down in the blink of an eye? They had never encountered such a situation before; it was just too incredible! To them, they were like paper figures before him, all sent flying with just one encounter. This was really too exaggerated!
What on Earth was such a formidable person doing in Kenya? Could it be because of the Boss and the rest? No good! Not even the Boss and his team would be a match for him; they would definitely be in danger. No matter what, he had to send a warning to the Boss. With that thought, Wang Ke endured the severe pain, struggling to turn over and take out the satellite phone from his pocket to send a danger alert to the Boss. In such a situation, he couldn’t let them come back.
"Can’t stay put and itching for more, huh? You just can’t lie there quietly, wasting my time!" Li Daqi noticed that Wang Ke and the others were trying to turn over and seemed to be reaching for something. He quickly understood what they were trying to do and was immediately infuriated. If they managed to send a warning, and those two individuals got away, he would have to stay even longer in Kenya, a place he loathed. Filled with this thought, he struck out once again.
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
...
Once more, he moved like a breeze past each person, giving each an extra kick that knocked them unconscious. He then proceeded to crush all their satellite phones in their pockets. After ensuring all was taken care of, Li Daqi returned to the entrance of the plane and continued to smoke his cigar. Finding it boring just sitting there, looking at the people scattered on the ground, he took out his own satellite phone and called the beautiful woman he had been intimate with not long ago, cheerfully chatting with her.
...
Laughing and joking, Lin Feng and his two companions had been on the helicopter for over half an hour before they arrived at the small airport his senior brother had mentioned. Not until the helicopter landed did they realize how fast time had flown. The plane for leaving Kenya had already been arranged to be at this airport’s runway; thus, upon disembarking, the three headed toward the direction of the runway. However, just as they turned the corner past the helicopter, they stopped in their tracks, for they all saw the small aircraft on the runway. Yet, something was terribly wrong—the outside of the plane was strewn with bodies. What... what on Earth had happened?
