Extreme Almightiest Young Master

Chapter 210: Where is the Injury?

Chapter 210: Where is the Injury?

Ah! How could it be her?

It was only after Lin Feng had gone through all the details that he realized the beautiful girl was Qian Rong’s granddaughter. He never imagined things would circle back to Qian Rong. He remembered Qian Rong mentioning that he had already handed over his authority to his granddaughter Duoduo. So, this Duoduo was actually Qian Rong’s granddaughter, Qian Duoduo.

But what was today’s matter about? He had absolutely no connection with Qian Rong’s granddaughter, hadn’t even seen her with his own eyes to date. Where had he provoked her to the extent that she sent two gambling masters after him? Lin Feng seriously reconsidered the events since his return to Tianhai City, confirming once again he had never met this Qian Duoduo. So, what was her purpose in doing all this?

Could it be because of Qian Rong?

Yes, it had to be so. Qian Rong must have said something to Qian Duoduo. He remembered how Qian Rong had hinted more than once about introducing him to his granddaughter. He had always thought it was a joke and never took it seriously, but it turned out Qian Rong actually did it and even coaxed his granddaughter from another place to Tianhai.

Everything that followed then made sense. Qian Duoduo probably constantly heard about him from Qian Rong and developed a strong dislike for him. She wanted to use the power of the Great South Gang to force him out of Tianhai City by all means necessary. This way, she could report back to her grandfather and avoid getting into anything with him directly, an outcome she would find most satisfying.

It was totally unexpected that Qian Duoduo, the person in control of nearly half of the nation’s underworld through the Great South Gang, would go to such lengths to target him, showing the calculative mindset of a young girl. With this in mind, a smile surfaced on Lin Feng’s face as he decided to tease Qian Duoduo that night, lest any trouble crop up before the New Year.

...

After dinner, Lin Feng bade his parents farewell and left the villa, driving to the outside of Qian Duoduo’s residence. Standing before her villa, Lin Feng remembered how Qian Duoduo had sent people to test him twice. To spare himself from her continual annoyance, he had planned to give her a little punishment tonight to persuade her to back off for good.

With that thought, Lin Feng’s figure flickered and vanished from the spot.

Lin Feng first searched around the room for a while, gathered a few mobile phones, then lying on the roof he downloaded a spine-chilling, ghostly prank sound to the phones. After taping them outside several windows, he played the terrifying ghostly sounds simultaneously, creating an eerie atmosphere that would wake anyone.

Then, invoking the Exclusive Supreme Soaring Decree on the rooftop, he dispersed his True Qi to manipulate the lighting, making them flicker as if in a horror film. Subsequently, he controlled the remote of the television, making it turn on by itself and switch to the same channel, despite nobody being present.

If someone saw Lin Feng on top of the villa, they would surely wonder how he got up there, with a layer of white mist surrounding him, making him seem like an immortal from the movies.

Using True Qi to control electronics was a trick Lin Feng had figured out recently. Ever since his return to Tianhai, he had noticed his Exclusive Supreme Soaring Decree advancing very slowly. Out of boredom, he once whimsically attempted to use True Qi to turn off lights and perform other tasks, not expecting this accidental experiment to reveal this alternative way of controlling True Qi. Although not particularly useful for major tasks, it was more than perfect for small deeds, making haunting pranks like tonight’s much simpler with such True Qi manipulation.

Sensing everything happening in the house, Lin Feng found Qian Duoduo to be quite brave. With the ’ghostly’ disturbance at such a level, she still managed to stay calm and logically direct people to search for him. Such poise was rare among girls; after all, which girl isn’t afraid of these things? But then he understood, any person who could inherit Qian Rong’s underworld empire and secure the gang leader’s position couldn’t be just any ordinary girl!

Since that was the case, he would just have to find another way to tease her. Thinking so, Lin Feng suddenly withdrew his inner strength, and the eerie sounds in the room stopped, the whole building suddenly plunged into darkness...

"What’s going on?"

"Why is it dark in here?"

"Old Three, where’s your flashlight?"

"My phone is gone."

Faced with the sudden change, everyone inside the room panicked completely. They had all seen horror movies, a favorite genre among men, but nobody expected to encounter such scenes from the movies in real life. In the face of such bizarre occurrences, how could anyone not be panicked and disoriented? They would brag while watching movies, but in this kind of situation, no one could keep their cool. Despite being in a group, the fear inside couldn’t be dispelled.

"Clap clap clap"

In the darkness, several crisp sounds echoed, as if coming from Boss Qian’s direction. It sounded like someone was being beaten, a sound all too familiar to them.

"Boss!"

"Protect the Boss!"

"Everyone quickly surround the Boss."

...

For a moment, everyone’s heart tensed up, thinking something had targeted Boss Qian, and they immediately rushed to circle around Qian Duoduo for protection. Their duty was to safeguard Boss Qian’s safety, and they couldn’t allow any harm to befall him. Otherwise, if they were derelict in their duty, the gang’s Enforcement Hall would be no joke.

Now, everyone felt both strange and frightened, not understanding what exactly was going on this evening. They had heard tales of hauntings before, but none had witnessed such events. Who would have thought that they’d all experience such bizarre, absurd incidents tonight? It seemed unlikely that anyone would believe their story if they went on to tell it, which added a tinge of fear to their hearts. It was said those unclean presences were troublesome, and with that in mind, they were nearly all scared, wishing to immediately return to their own homes...

But they couldn’t do that. Boss Qian was here; how could they possibly leave? So when those few voices echoed out of the darkness, how could they not be anxious? They certainly didn’t want Boss Qian to be injured by any unclean thing. For them, being punished was a minor issue, but it could cause major trouble for the Great South Gang.

As everyone was lost in their chaotic thoughts, the lights throughout the villa suddenly all turned on, and they immediately saw Boss Qian, hands behind his back, filled with anger and with red eyes, standing in the corner of the wall.

"Boss, are you alright?"

"Boss, please talk to us!"

"Shall we take you to the hospital?"

"Boss, where are you hurt, and is it serious?"

...

The group sighed in relief upon seeing Boss Qian still standing there unharmed. It was good that Boss Qian was safe, but his expression seemed very off. Could it be that Boss Qian had suffered some other kind of injury? Concerned, they crowded around, asking questions, afraid that Boss Qian was hurt but keeping it to himself, and that if anything were indeed wrong, they would immediately take Boss Qian to the hospital.

"I’m fine, you... you all go downstairs," Qian Duoduo instructed in a forced calm tone, asking everyone to leave her room. Though they were all concerned for her well-being, they were unaware of what had transpired in the darkness. Their anxiety stemmed from their concern, but the problem was she simply couldn’t tell them what had just happened. How could she mention being spanked? That would be utterly humiliating, and it would destroy the authority she had worked so hard to build. Thinking this, her hands stealthily touched the spot where she had been spanked in the darkness, a spot that still throbbed unbearably with pain, driving her almost to madness. If she hadn’t been holding back, tears would have already fallen.

Now it was certain that someone had played a trick. If not for the throbbing, agonizing pain on her buttocks, she would never have believed she had been spanked in the darkness. That someone could spank her without her noticing and then disappear before she even reacted indicated that their movement skills and cultivation were incredibly advanced. She was not to be underestimated either, having already broken through to A-level, but to achieve this, the person would have to be at least of AA-level, if not higher!

Why on earth had they chosen to spank her buttocks of all places? It was an embarrassing, disgraceful spot. It was like they were deliberately taking advantage of her. In front of her subordinates, it was too embarrassing to even speak of. Not saying what had happened would lead to wild speculation, but she couldn’t admit to being spanked in such a place, even if it killed her. She was so conflicted! She had been injured countless times before, even by a knife to her eye without so much as blinking. Didn’t they know she was a girl? Why else would they target that specific spot? It had to be intentional, to take advantage of her.

However, in an instant, Qian Duoduo grasped the person’s intent; it was a warning, meant to show they didn’t mean any real harm. Otherwise, with such quick reflexes, if they had been holding a knife, she would have been dead without knowing how it happened! Yet, another question arose; she had never crossed someone so formidable, so why were they warning her, specifically by targeting her buttocks...

"Boss, are you really okay?"

"Should we call for medical assistance?"

"Boss, if there’s anything wrong, you must tell us."

"If necessary, let’s head to the hospital immediately!"

...

Although they heard Boss Qian telling them to leave, seeing Boss Qian’s grim expression and watery, red eyes, they couldn’t believe that nothing had happened in the darkness, especially having heard those few crisp sounds—it was obvious that a beating had taken place. Being seasoned fighters, they knew the sound well and couldn’t be fooled so easily.

But why wouldn’t Boss Qian disclose where she was hurt and so insistently dispersed everyone, asking them all to go back? She wasn’t usually like this; she always shared everything with them. Was it because the injury was too severe and she didn’t want to worry them, or was there some other reason forcing her to act this way?
