Extreme Almightiest Young Master

Chapter 1999 - 1981: No Need to Lift...

Chapter 1999 - 1981: No Need to Lift...

After flying for four hours, Li Xing suddenly descended from the sky, bringing Fang Yan with him into a vast Heaven Pit on the ground. Once inside, they were immediately assaulted by deep blue lightning, but this was nothing for Li Xing. With a mere movement of Gang Qi, he repelled the lightning away from their bodies.

In the blink of an eye, they landed at the bottom of the pit, where the deep blue lightning had vanished. In their view, there appeared a door shimmering with thunder, clearly extraordinary at first glance.

"There it is, but Fang Yan, be cautious once you’re inside." Li Xing pointed at the door flickering with lightning and told Fang Yan that the entrance to the ancient estate lay beyond that door.

"Senior Brother, don’t worry, I’ll be fine." Fang Yan smiled at Li Xing and then turned to enter the door shimmering with thunder, followed closely by Li Xing.

Once inside, they were met with a different scene entirely, as if the space behind the door was a Secret Realm of unimaginable size. Mountains loomed in the distance, majestically vast, and before them lay a valley surrounded on three sides by hills.

The valley was engulfed entirely in deep blue lightning, resembling a Thunder Prison, constantly striking down, and vaguely visible within the thunder prison were some structures. Who would have thought that such buildings could exist within a Thunder Prison, a feat that could only be described as Heaven-Reaching.

"Senior Brother, is that the ancient estate?" Fang Yan looked at the ancient estate beneath the rampaging lightning, speechless at the intensity preventing entry.

"Yes, that’s the ancient estate. Last time I tried to enter, those three old geezers ambushed me. I’m not sure whether they’ve managed to get in now." Li Xing said to Fang Yan calmly, uncertain of the present situation but prepared to leave with Fang Yan if those three really managed to infiltrate.

"Let’s go over and see." Fang Yan said calmly as he stared at the distant valley, then swiftly flew over with Li Xing.

A journey of hundreds of miles passed without incident, surrounded only by plants imbued with a lightning aura, and nothing else. Although smooth, the situation seemed strange to Fang Yan since typically the area surrounding the ancient estate would have protective measures, which were noticeably absent here.

No danger arose, so Fang Yan didn’t ponder it too deeply, and soon the two reached the edge of the terrifying Thunder Prison.

When they actually arrived at the outskirts of the Thunder Prison, they realized its immense size, definitely spanning several dozen miles across, enveloping a black structure inside. Moreover, the lightning within the Thunder Prison intensified from the outside in, reaching a darkness nearly akin to black!

"Junior Brother, they’ve entered. With my Divine Sense, I found that they have gone in about three to four miles." Li Xing closed his eyes, extending his Divine Sense to sense the surroundings thoroughly. He located the Heavenly Level Assassins, who had entered and advanced roughly halfway. If they continued for another three or four miles, they would truly reach the ancient estate.

Fang Yan smiled, having sensed the trio’s predicament. Seeing them struggling brought him joy, and he said to Li Xing, "Senior Brother, if they hadn’t entered the Thunder Prison, there’d be no way I could handle them. But now that they’re in the middle, it’s the perfect opportunity to deal with them."

"Fang Yan, what are you planning?" Li Xing was puzzled by Fang Yan’s words, not grasping his meaning of the perfect opportunity. Such a formidable Thunder Prison warrants caution even from him; could Fang Yan be thinking of charging in and battling them?

"Just you wait and see; soon it will become clear." Fang Yan replied with a smile, "Though it’s impossible to kill all three, once they’re injured, can you chase them off, Senior Brother?"

"I suppose... probably... maybe..." Li Xing replied awkwardly upon hearing such, considering those old geezers, even injured, remain late-stage Earth Immortal Realm powerhouses. If they saw him afterward, they’d assume he was behind it, unleashing a furious assault, and he wasn’t confident he could fend them off—not due to his lack of strength but their overwhelming power.

Hearing Li Xing’s response, Fang Yan understood his meaning and after some thought said, "Come, follow me!"

Fang Yan led Li Xing directly to the summit of a mountain, cautiously approaching the Thunder Prison. Soon, they found a massive black stone, several meters large. Under Li Xing’s incredulous gaze, Fang Yan retrieved the Heaven Defying Blade, infused Gang Qi, and began cutting.

Half an hour later, Fang Yan had cut a hole into the black stone with enough space inside to fit two people comfortably.

Li Xing looked at Fang Yan’s handiwork on the black stone and then down at the Thunder Prison, guessing Fang Yan’s intention. Astonished, he asked, "You plan for us to hide in this stone and roll into the ancient estate?"

Li Xing’s heart was truly unsettled as he gazed at Fang Yan, shocked that Fang Yan had come up with such a solution. He wondered whether the black stone could withstand lightning assaults, for if not, they’d be in grave danger.

"Yes indeed, this way we enter the ancient estate much faster than braving the Thunder Prison directly!" Fang Yan remarked matter-of-factly.

"But the estate lies seven or eight miles within the Thunder Prison; the stone won’t stop rolling until it reaches, and if it halts, the lightning will shatter it, leaving us doomed!" Li Xing’s face darkened, surprised Fang Yan devised such an unreliable plan; if it were that simple, the estate would’ve been breached long ago.

"No, no, no, Senior Brother, you’re mistaken. First, the black stone of which there are plenty within the Thunder Prison; unable to be shattered by lightning itself. How then would our black stone possibly shatter?"

Indeed... indeed!

Li Xing realized Fang Yan was correct; similar black stones dotted the Thunder Prison, enduring the lightning barrage unaffected. Thus, entry via the black stone was indeed feasible!

But how to traverse those seven or eight miles?

As Li Xing pondered, Fang Yan spoke again, "As for rolling those seven or eight miles, that’s even simpler. We’ll place the stone atop the highest peak, from which it will roll down!"

Fang Yan’s words completely enlightened Li Xing; he realized the brilliance of Fang Yan’s plan. Despite some collisions during descent, compared to facing the Thunder Prison outright, rolling in was the safer choice—merely uncomfortable.

With this in mind, Li Xing nodded, saying, "Fang Yan, your mind’s something else; even from such a method you’ve thought of. Well then, Senior Brother will carry this thing to the peak."

Having said that, Li Xing erupted in Gang Qi, preparing to lift the black stone atop the peak. In his eyes, though several meters large, the stone’s weight was insignificant; with late-stage Earth Immortal Realm strength, lifting it should be a breeze.

But when he tried, an unexpected situation arose; he couldn’t hoist the black stone. Embarrassed, he unleashed all his Gang Qi, barely lifting the massive stone but unable to transport it to the peak.

Reluctantly, he dropped the stone and said to Fang Yan, "Why is this black stone so heavy, nearly akin to Meteoric Iron!"

Afterward, he blushed, having assumed ease of movement only to be proven wrong, exaggerated beyond expectation as he puzzled over how such an ordinary-looking black stone could be so heavy.

Fang Yan couldn’t help but find Li Xing’s attempt amusing, though he refrained from laughter, merely curling the corner of his mouth and saying, "Actually, Senior Brother, we can use the Space Ring to carry it instead of lifting..."

Upon finishing, he waved his hand, storing the stone in the Space Ring, then flew toward the summit under Li Xing’s stunned gaze.

At that moment, Li Xing was quite frustrated; he wondered how he hadn’t thought of such a simple solution recently, shaking his head helplessly as he followed along, though still feeling uneasy. He couldn’t understand why he had turned clueless before Fang Yan, leaving him speechless.

Upon reaching the summit, Fang Yan created a relatively flat space and released the stone. After they hid inside, he raised his hand, emitting Gang Qi, and watched as the black stone, like a ball, sped down the summit, bouncing toward the ancient estate within the Thunder Prison...

"Boom!"

In its path, endless lightning struck alongside the booming sound from the stone’s descent, echoing deafeningly, even catching the attention of the three struggling Heavenly Level Assassins within the Thunder Prison. They paid it no mind, assuming merely a stone had loosened and rolled down from the summit, nothing more.
